The Body Shop - Honey Bronze Bronzer

Hoy vengo a enseñaros un producto que tenía desde hace eones en mi wishlist, y por fin puedo tacharlo (no una, ¡sino dos veces!). Estoy hablando del famoso bronceador Honey Bronze de The Body Shop. Como curiosidad, os diré que contiene miel, cera de abejas y Aceite de Marula de Namibia de Comercio Justo con Comunidades.

Today I'm here to show you a product that has been for eons in my wishlist, and I can finally cross it off (not once, but twice!). I'm talking about the famous Honey Bronze Bronzer by The Body Shop. An interesting fact is that it contains honey, beeswax and Marula oil from Namibia Community Trade.

Decía lo de "dos veces" porque yo compré el tono 02 aprovechando una oferta, aunque el que quería en principio era el 01, pero en la tienda de Fuencarral (Madrid) no lo tenían. Aun así, un par de días después, mi chico me regaló el 01 con el packaging antiguo, ¡y yo tan feliz! El packaging nuevo (derecha) me gusta mucho más que el antiguo. Otro plus del nuevo es que huele genial, mientras que el antiguo no huele a nada.

I said that I can cross it off "twice" because I bought shade 02 taking advantage of a deal, although the one I wanted at first was the 01, but the store Fuencarral (Madrid) did not had it. Even so, a few days later, my guy gave me the 01 with the old packaging, and I was so happy about it! I much prefer the new packaging (right) to the older one. Another plus is that the new smells great, while the older version does not smell like anything.

Por dentro, me parecen preciosos.
En primer lugar está el tono 01 Light Matte que, a pesar de la numeración, a mi se me hace más oscuro que el tono 02. Tiene una tonalidad más rojiza que en mi subtono rosado imita mejor lo que sería mi bronceado natural.

The inside of them is so beautiful. 
In first place I show you the 01 Light Matte that, despite the numbers, to me it looks darker than shade 02. This has a more reddish hue which in my pink undertones mimics better what would a the natural tan for my skin.

El tono 02 Fair Matte es algo más claro, y con un subtono como más "dorado", que creo que favorecerá más a pieles cetrinas.

The shade 02 Fair Matte is somewhat lighter, and with a more "golden" undertone, which I think will suit best olive skintones.

Aquí podéis ver una fotografía en la que creo que se aprecia bien la diferencia entre ambas tonalidades.

Here you can see a picture in which I think that you can clearly see the difference between the two shades.

Con mi tono de piel (NW10) es difícil encontrar un bronceador que me favorezca, y no se vea naranja, y en este sentido estoy muy contenta con ambos, ya que, aunque dejan un tono distinto, creo que los dos quedan bien en pieles blanquitas.
La textura es muy suave, y no son nada polvorientos. Además, son productos fácilmente modulables, y son mate.

With my skin tone (NW10) is hard to find a bronzer that looks good on me, and doesn't look orange, and in this sense I am very happy with both, because, although they look quite different, I think both of them look good on pale skin. 

The texture is quite silky, and they are not chalky at all. Moreover, they are easily buildable products, and they are matt.

Hoy vengo a hablaros de un producto que visteis ya hace tiempo en mi Instagram, y del cual me pedisteis review. Se trata de los Diamond Powder Sensation de Être Belle, bastante conocidos en el mundo blogger.

Today I come to speak about a product that you saw a while ago on my Instagram, and you asked me to review. This is the Diamond Powder Sensation by Être Belle, well known in the spanish blogger world.

Es un maquillaje compacto, que contiene polvo de diamante, y, como podemos leer en su web, con efecto hidroretentivo y antienvejecimiento, gracias al aceite de Macadamia y la Vitamina E.

As you can see, is a makeup compact which contains diamond dust, and as we can read on their website, with hidroretentive and anti-aging effect thanks to the Macadamia Oil and Vitamin E.

Es un producto fabricado de forma artesanal y cocido al horno, y está disponible en tres tonos. El mío es el tono 01, el que supuestamente está "destinado" a pieles más claras.

It is a handcrafted and  baked product, and is available in three shades. Mine is the shade 01 which is supposedly "destined" to lighter skin.

En el compacto encontramos tres tonos distintos, para usar juntos o por separado, y se pueden usar de diversas formas: cada uno de los productos para una parte del rostro (polvos compactos, bronceador y colorete), como sombras de ojos, o todos juntos a modo de colorete.

In the compact we have three different shades to wear together or separately, and they can be used in several ways: each of the products for a part of the face (pressed powder, bronzer and blush), as eye shadows, or all together as a blush.

Es un producto muy sedoso, fácil de aplicar, y de difuminar, y la pigmentación es genial.

It is a very silky product, easy to apply and blend, and the pigmentation is so great.

Como el resto de productos de maquillaje que he probado de la marca, me parece un producto fantástico, aunque el precio es elevado (es un producto de "alta gama"). Varía entre los 40 y lo 50€, según donde lo compréis, y la verdad es que los otros dos tonos (el 02 y el 03) me parecen también una preciosidad.

Like other makeup products that I've tried from this brand, it is a great product, but the price is high (it is a "high-end" brand). The price varies between €40 and €50, depending on where you buy it, and the truth is that the other two shades (02 and 03) also seem gorgeous.

Sorry to have been absent, but I am around here again with a new review. This time I come to speak about Alva Naturkosmetik, a brand I've been testing recently, and I'm enjoying it quite a lot. All products from this brand have a distinct smell (in some products is more intense than in others), which I can't describe to you (if somebody could help me?).

Empezaré por hablaros por su base de maquillaje, de cobertura ligera tirando a media, y apta para pieles sensibles. Debido a su cobertura, suelo acompañarla de un corrector (puesto que, como ya sabéis, últimamente estoy volviendo a tener algún que otro problemilla con el acné), o sola, en el caso de que mi piel tenga un buen día, ya que unifica bien el tono.
Tiene el certificado Ecocert, lo que quiere decir que es un producto sin siliconas ni derivados del petróleo, sin colorantes, conservantes o perfumes artificiales, con una fórmula vegana, libre de materias primas procedentes de animales, y no testado en animales. Además, el 99% de sus ingredientes son de origen natural y más de un 10% de los mismos procede de agricultura ecológica. Es perfecta para todas aquellas personas reacias a utilizar productos no-naturales en su rostro.

I will begin reviewing their foundation, with a light-to-medium coverage, and suitable for sensitive skin. Owing to its coverage I usually use it with a concealer (because, as many of you will know, I've been having lately some problems dealing with acne), or alone, in those days were my skin has a good day, because it unifies my skin.
It has the Ecocert certificate, which means that it is a product without silicone or petroleum products, no artificial colors, preservatives or artificial fragrances, with a vegan formula free of raw materials derived from animals, and not tested on animals. In addition, 99% of the ingredients are natural and more than 10% of them come from organic farming. Perfect for all those reluctant to use non-natural products on their face.

Lo mejor es que su tono más claro (0- Porcelain) es PERFECTO para las Blancanieves que estéis por aquí, ya que como podéis comprobar, es un tono muy muy clarito (vamos, casi parece que me lo hubiesen hecho a medida...).
Para aplicar el producto, me gusta ayudarme de mi esponja de maquillaje (en éste caso, la de Skin79, de la que os hablaré en otro post). Cuando no quiero usar corrector, también he utilizado ésta base mezclándola con otras de mayor cobertura que tenía pero me quedaban muy oscuras, y el acabado ha resultado mejor que perfecto.

The best thing is that its lighter shade (0 - Porcelain) is perfect for all the Snow White's over this blog, because as you can see, is a very very fair shade (it looks like if they did this shade just for me... ).
To apply the product, I like to help me with my makeup sponge (in this case, the Skin79 one, which I will review in another post). When I don't want to use concealer, I have also used this foundation by mixing it with another with more coverage but too dark for me, and the finish has turned out better than perfect.

El siguiente producto que he estado probando  son sus polvos bronceadores para pieles pálidas. El tono es el "1-Beige Rose", y resulta muy favorecedor en pieles blanquitas.
El 99'5% de sus ingredientes son de origen natural y un 12% de los mismos procede de agricultura ecológica.

The next product I've been testing are the bronzing powder for pale skin. The number is the "1-Beige Rose", and it is very flattering on fairy skin.
99'5% of the ingredients are natural and 12% of them come from organic farming. 

Vienen con un espejo bastante grande y un compartimento debajo en el que incluyen una esponja que, como siempre, sólo utilizo fuera de casa o en casos de emergencia, aunque es muy suave y compacta, pero siento que las esponjas de éste tipo retienen más producto del que aplican.

They come with a rather large mirror and a compartment below which includes a sponge, which, as always, I only use outdoors or in an emergency, although it is very smooth and compact, I feel that this type of sponges retain more product than the product they applying.

Éstos polvos aportan un sutil efecto bronceado (o "toque de color"), dando un look muy saludable. Contiene pequeñas partículas de glitter, por lo que no aconsejo utilizarlo como contorno, aunque a mi me gusta el efecto que da como colorete.
A pesar de que no uso nunca bronceadores, me encanta usar éste para los días en los que mi piel se ve más apagada. Dejan un efecto precioso. Es muy pigmentado, y aquí podéis ver cómo queda el swatch sin difuminar:

These powders provide a subtle tan (or "touch of color"), giving a very healthy look. They contain small particles of glitter, so I do not advise using it for doing the contour, but I like the effect they give as blush.
Although I never use broncers, I love to use it for days when my skin looks dull. They leave a gorgeous effect. It is very pigmented, and here you can see what the swatch looks like without blurring:

El tercer producto que he estado probando es su gloss, el cual también tiene (al igual que la base de maquillaje), éste olor tan característico, aunque bastante más intenso. No es pegajoso en absoluto, y dura bastante más que un gloss normal, además de dejar el labio teñido.

The third product I've been testing is their gloss, which also has (like the foundation), that characteristic smell it, but far more intense. It is not sticky at all, and lasts much more than a regular gloss, and they also left the lip stained.

Es muy cubriente, y éste tono en concreto (el "Indian Red") es perfecto para pieles oscuras , aunque en pieles claras también puede quedar bien, especialmente si se usa de forma suave, aunque también se puede usar en pieles claras para un look más intenso/dramático.

It is very opaque, and this particular shade in particular (Indian Red) is perfect for dark skintones, although it can also be good for lighter skintones, especially if used in a smooth, but can also be used in fair skin for an intense/dramatic look.

Por último os enseño un producto que me ha encantado: su máscara de pestañas "Deep Black".
Se trata de una máscara de pestañas waterproof negra, apta para ojos sensibles. No es la máscara "más negra" del mercado, pero deja las pestañas muy bonitas y espesas, y fue escogida "Mejor Compra" por la revista Natural Health en el 2011.

Finally I will show a product that I love: their "Deep Black" mascara.
It is a black waterproof mascara, suitable for sensitive eyes. It is not the "blackest" mascara on market, but with this one the eyelashes look very thick and beautiful, and was chosen "Best Buy" by Natural Health Magazine in 2011.

Es la máscara de pestañas que más he estado utilizando últimamente (junto con otra de Chen Yu, de la que ya os hablaré más adelante, pero cuya fórmula es completamente distinta).  Para mi es una apuesta segura.

This mascara is the one that I've been using most lately (along with another Chen Yu mascara, which I will review for you later, but the formula is completely different). For me it is a safe bet.

Además, sus productos tienen muy buena calidad. Me he quedado con ganas de probar más productos (podéis ver en su web la gama completa).
