Beautik | Haul NYX Mayo '15

¡Feliz miércoles a todas!

Happy wednesday!
Today I will show you my latest Beautik haul. As some of you know, they are discontinuing NYX on their shop, and have/had all their products with a 50% off. I took the opportunity to pick up a pencil and three lipsticks (the other three products pictured are not for me).

For 'everyday use' I bought the Natural lipstick (left) and Whipped Caviar (right). As you can see in the photo, they are quite similar, although Natural is more pink. For that same reason, I like Whipped Caviar better, since the pink shades don't suit me that much, and it is much pinker than the swatches I saw online.

The other lipstick I boght, Maison, is quite different, because it is a brown with a gray undertone. It is a strange color, but I likeit for 'dark/grungy/goth' looks. The only thing is that I'm waiting to receive a brown pencil I bought, because if I apply it without a pencil, it doesn't look as nice against my skin tone.

Here you have the two lip pencils, though one of them is not for me. On the left you can see Hot Red, which, as its name suggests, is a fiery red. The other is the Natural lip pencil, that although they share the name has nothing to do with the lipstick I showed you before. The pencil is rather brownish and, for me, although the colors are different, makes a perfect combo with Whipped Caviar (that's my most used combo since I got them, and you can see how it looks here, although according to the settings of your screen, you might see the color different).

As a gift, they sent me this smokey eyes set by Essence.

¿Qué os han parecido las compras? ¿Tenéis algún producto de NYX? ¿Cuál es vuestro preferido?

iHerb | March Haul '15 (Vegan!)

¡Buenos días, chicas!
Hoy os traigo mis últimas compras en iHerb, aunque esta vez me he portado bastante bien, y sólo he cogido cosas que "necesitaba". ¡Espero que os gusten!
Good morning, ladies!
Today I bring you my latest purchases from iHerb, but this time I have behaved pretty well, and I just picked things I "needed". I hope you like them!

The first thing I grabbed was these pea protein powder by the brand Now Foods for my boyfriend. He was looking for some protein powder that were not expensive, and were 100% vegetable, so he decided to try these. As you can see in the pot, the flavor is natural, without added chemical flavors, and yes, it tastes a bit weird in my opinion. It is a 100% pure product, without GMOs. It comes with a "spoon" to get a serving of 33gr., and each serving contains 24gr. of protein, and 0 sugar. The pot contains 340gr. for 8'95$, so it seems a good purchase.

I repurchased for myself some products that I love and use everyday.
The first was the coconut soap by Kirk's Castile, unscented, which is the one I use to wash my makeup brushes. It contains 113gr. of product for $1.64.
For the face, I keep repeating over and over again with the African Black Soap by Nubian Heritage. It is what helps me to keep acne under control, and has an unbeatable price: $3.47 per pill with 141gr. of product.

Also I repurchased my coconut soft curls hair cream by the brand Desert Essence. Each bottle lasts a lot (it contains 190ml, and use very little each day) and it helps me define the curl without making it hard, and is priced at $6'72. In Spain it's quite difficult to find a cream for my curls at a good price which doesn't test in animals, so I'm sticking to iHerb.

Finally, I bought my forth HURRAW! vegan lip balm. This time, I choosed the moon balm, which is particularly suitable for use during our sleep. It is very emollient, and I like its smell, although my favorite is still the Chai Spice one. I have several that I want to buy for this spring, and those are Tangerine Chamomille with a  SPF15, the Lime one, or the Coconut Lemongrass Mint. The balms from this brand are raw, natural, vegan, contain ,4'3gr. of product, and are priced at $3.82 (or less, depending on which one you choose).

Favoritos | Febrero '15

¡Feliz jueves a todas!

Happy Thursday!
I haven't uploaded my favorites in quite a lot of time, so today I bring you finally a post with last months favorites. I hate to not being able to upload my favorites in the past months, but I'll try to upload them monthly again, because I think that they are interesting. Here you have my favorites of February 2015. I hope you like them!

¡¡CONFIRMADO!! La máscara de pestañas también :D.

I'll start with my favorites for the eyes.
The first one is the eye primer by the brand Benecos. As I explained in a previous post, the only thing I dislike about this primer is that it has a golden sheen, but I solve this by putting a matte beige eyeshadow all over the lid. The price is great (less than €6), and it holds my eyeshadows 7.30-8h. without creasing.

The next favorite is the famous mascara Better Than Sex by Too Faced. The one that I have is a sample size that came with the purchase of a palette, and I love it, as it provides voluminous and thick eyelashes. The downside is that mine is almost gone, and the price is quite high...

The last favorite of the picture is the Magic Pencil by Nabla, a beige pencil perfect to highlight the inner corner, the waterline, or to be used as a concealer. I did not think you were going to use it quite much, and the truth is that since I got it I have been using it daily.

Both the primer and the pencil are vegan. I'm not sure about the mascara, because I do not know the ingredients. The mascara is vegan too!! :D

As for eyeshadows, these are my favorites of this month, from the brands Makeup Geek and Nabla.

The ones by Makeup Geek are (top, left to right) HipsterMesmerized and Grandstand.

My favorites by Nabla are Sandy, Narciso and PetraAnother currently favorite is the Nabla palette where they are placed, which is like a Z-Palette, but cheaper.

All the eyeshadows you see in the picture are vegan.

For lips I had to mention two: the Underground lipstick by Teeez, and the vegan lip balm by HURRAW! in Chai Spice. HURRAW! balms are my current obsession... and I have three of them and one more on the way, but I really love them, they smell so nice, they are hydrating, have a great price (about 3€) and are all vegan.

Finally, I have three "face" favorites.
The first one is the SÚE Hydrating Water by SKIN79. Mine is a travel size they gave as a gift in an event. As I told you, I re-started the microdermabrasion at home with the PMD, and when I go overboard, I end up with really sensitive skin, and stings a lot when I apply any products. This moisturizer helps me to maintain the skin hydration without having to put my hands all over my face, because that makes it sting a lot. The smell is light and pleasant and gives me a nice fresh feeling.

The next one is a favorite not only of February, but a 2014 favorite! I would say it's my favorite blush ever (and I have quite a lot of blushes). It is the Fruit Pigmented Blush from the natural and vegan brand 100% Pure in the shade Pink Plum. The ingredients are all natural, and it is colored with fruit pigments. It is a blush that allways makes my skin look really nice, and I feel that it leaves a super healthy skin appearance. I want to get myself some more of this blushes, as I'm really in love with this one. Plus, it's all natural!

Finally I have the translucent powder Raw Finishing Powder by the brand Gourmet Body Treats, whose packaging has now changed, but I think that the formula is the same. It is a really fine and totally natural powder, which doesn't clog my pores, and, being as finely milled as it is, I can also use it for avoiding creasing in my undereye area.

The latter two products I know for sure that are vegan, and I think that the moisturizer is vegan too, but I'm waiting for an official confirmation from the brand, so I'll edit the info as soon as I know it for sure.

And these are my favorites from the past month! I hope you have enjoyed this post. Do we have any favorite in common? Which product attracts you the most?

Makeup Geek | Foiled Eyeshadows

¡Feliz martes a todas!
Happy Tuesday!
Today I'm here to speak about the new Foiled Eyeshadows by Makeup Geek. You know that Makeup Geek is one of my favorite brands of eye shadows, and these new shadows are just beyond amazing. In dry application they are so incredible that it seems that we are applying them wet! The pigmentation is out of this world, and the finish is really metallic. I've been testing them for a while, although I fell in love when I swatched them for the very first time.

The first of the shadows is Flame Thrower, a coppery orange shade.

In The Spotlight es un melocotón muy claro/blanquecino y súper brillante.
In The Spotlight is a really pale and super bright peach.

Grandstand is a warm brown shade with a "rose gold" undertone and metallic sheen.

Showtime is a dark wine brown with silver sparkle. This one doesn't look as metallic as the others.

Mesmerized is a taupe brown with a purple undertone. It's like a more pigmented, metallic and improved version of Satin Taupe by Mac.

I don't have a good video camera, so the quality of my videos is not quite there... but I wanted to shoot the video so you can see the swatches (yes, I press my finger a bit hard because I had the camera between my arms and I struggled to swatch the shadows and record at the same time, sorry!)
