Favoritos - Octubre '13

¡Feliz sábado! ¿Qué tal habéis empezado el puente?
Como ya terminamos el mes, vengo a enseñaros los que han sido mis favoritos de Octubre. Había otros productos que quería incluir porque me están encantando, pero como sólo los he usado al final del mes, he decidido dejarlos para el próximo post de favoritos. ¡¡Allá vamos!

Happy saturday! How did your weekend started?
As the month has come to its end, I come today to show you those who have been my favorites of October. There were other products that I've been loving and I wanted to include, but as I've only used them at the end of the month, I decided to leave them for the next favorites post.
Let's start!

Primeramente os hablaré de mis coloretes favoritos. Soy una yonki de los coloretes, y me ha llamado la atención que, teniendo tantos como tengo, haya estado tirando de los más económicos, lo que demuestra que no siempre tenemos que gastar mucho dinero para tener un buen producto.
Mis dos coloretes preferidos del mes han sido los dos de abajo: el Rose Nacré de Avril Beauté, y el New York de Fashionista. Ambos son coloretes que funcionan con prácticamente cualquier look, y son geniales para diario. No son coloretes con una pigmentación excesiva, por lo que me vienen genial para los días que me maquillo con prisas, y así puedo pasarme un buen brochazo de colorete sin temor a parecer Heidi. El resto de coloretes de la paleta de Fashionista también los he utilizado muchísimo, y actualmente tiro siempre de ella cuando "no quiero pensar".

First I will talk you about my favorite blushes. I am a blush junkie, and I was struck that, having as many blushes as I have, I've been using the most economic ones, proving that we don't always have to spend much money to have a good product.
My two favorite blushes of this month were the two from the bottom: the Rose Nacré by Avril Beauté, and the New York by Fashionista. Both are blushes that work with virtually any outfit, and they are great for everyday. 
There aren't blushes with excessive pigmentation, so they work great for me for those days that I make up in a hurry, and so I can use a good dab of blush without fear of looking like Heidi. 
The rest of the blushes from my Fashionista Palette have being well loved this month too, and I always use this palette when I don't want to think about what blush to use.

En cuanto a mis sombras preferidas del mes, tengo tres claras ganadoras: la sombra "tipo Club" de la paleta Comfort Zone de Wet n' Wild para cuando quería un look más marcado/divertido, la sombra Moondust de Elf para looks de diario, y mi sombra negra preferida del mundo mundial, la Corrupt de Makeup Geek, perfecta para delinear.

As for my favorite eyeshadows of the month, I have three obvious winners: the eyeshadow "like Mac's Club" from the Comfort Zone Palette by Wet n 'Wild for when I wanted a more dramatic/fun look, the eyeshado Moondust by Elf for daily looks, and my favorite black eyeshadow all over the world, Corrupt by Makeup Geek, perfect for outlining.

Mi labial preferido ha sido sin duda el Dolce Vita de NARS. Se trata de un labial "Sheer", poco cubriente. Da un poco de tono a mis labios, dejándolos naturales pero con un tono muy sano y algo de brillo. Me encanta porque pega con todo, y es muy cómodo de llevar.

My favorite lipstick has been without doubt the NARS Dolce Vita. This is a sheer lipstick. 
It's a sheer browny rose on my lips, leaving them natural but with a very healthy tone and some shine. I love it because it looks great with any look and is very comfortable to wear.

En cuanto a máscaras, estas dos podría decirse que van en pack. La primera es la I Love Extreme de Essence, mi preferida para las pestañas superiores, aunque ahora que se está secando, me deja algunos grumos en las pestañas. La otra máscara es la "Volumen Extremo" de By The Face, mi preferida para las pestañas inferiores. Ambas tienen un precio genial.

Regarding mascaras, these two work in pack for me. 
The first is the Essence I Love Extreme mascara, my choice for the top lashes, but now that it is drying, it is starting to look a bit clumpy. 
The other mascara is "Volumen Extremo" by By The Face, my favorite one for lower lashes. 
Both are priced great.

Mi producto preferido como iluminador  ha sido el Mineral Powder en Mineral Light de Luxuria Cosmetics. Son unos polvos minerales que dan muchísima luminosidad al rostro, por lo que os los recomiendo a todas aquellas que os guste una piel con efecto "glow". Como yo tengo la piel grasa (y últimamente, por alguna razón, más que de costumbre), los utilizo a modo de iluminador, y tengo que decir que son una maravilla.

My favorite product as a highlighter was de Mineral Light Mineral Powder by Luxuria Cosmetics. 
They give a lot of light if you use them on your whole face, so I recommend it to all those you like "glowing skin" effect. Since I have oily skin (and lately, for some reason, more than usual), I use it as a highlighter, and I have to say that it is an amazing product.

Este es un producto que llevo usando menos de un mes, pero una goma de pelo tampoco creo que necesite una observación intensiva para incluirla en mis favoritos. Se trata de las Invisibobble. Vienen en un pack de tres (en la foto falta una porque la llevaba puesta), y ya no me separo de ellas... Me recogen bien el pelo sin dejar marca, ni estropearlo. Un problema que tengo yo es que cuando me recojo el pelo se me queda enseguida la marca, y si luego lo quiero volver a soltar, queda fatal... Teniendo el pelo tan largo, estoy continuamente soltándolo y recogiéndolo para que no me moleste, así que las Invisibobble se han ganado un puesto fijo en mi muñeca y mi pelo.

This is a product I've been using less than a month, but I do not think that I need that intensive observation to include a hair tie it in my favorites. 
These are the Invisibobble. They come in a three pack (in the picture there is one missing because I was wearing it), and I do not separate myself from them... They can be used on the hair without leaving a mark, or a mess. One problem I have is that when I do a ponytail, it leaves stronge marks on my hair, and then if I want to drop, it looks horrendous... With my long hair, I am continually dropping and picking it up so it does not bother me, so the Invisibobble have earned a permanent position on my wrist and my hair.

Por último, las brochas que sin duda alguna más he utilizado éste mes.
La primera es una brocha para delinear de Ecotools, y la segunda, la base shadow brush de Real Techniques. Ambas las he estado utilizando prácticamente a diario con las sombras que os enseñé arriba.

Finally, the brushes that undoubtedly have been the most used this month.
The first one is an eyeliner brush by Ecotools, and second one, the base shadow brush by Real Techniques. I have been using both of them almost daily with the eyeshadows that I previously showed you.

Haul Maquillalia (Wet N' Wild, Fashionista & NYX) - Octubre '13

¡Feliz jueves, chicas!
Ayer llegó el pedido que hice a Maquillalia con Vero, aprovechando que la marca Wet N' Wild acaba de aterrizar en España. Os enseñé ya por encima algunas de las cositas en Instagram, y aquí me tenéis para enseñaros el haul completo y conocer mis primeras impresiones.

I got the order that I placed with Vero to Maquillalia yesterday, taking advantage of the brand Wet N 'Wild just landed in Spain. 
I show you most of the items on Instagram, and here I am to show you the full haul and to let you know my first impressions about them.

Lo primero que hice fue aprovechar que habían repuesto el colorete que tanto quería de Fashionista, el Butterscotch, y Vero se hizo con el Juicy Apricot, que yo ya tengo y os enseñé en mi haul del mes pasado.
Me gustan muchísimo éstos coloretes. Tienen un precio inmejorable (ahora mismo 1'75€), me duran en la piel, y son súper cómodos para viajar (podemos meterlos en la paleta que os enseñé en el mismo haul).

The first thing I did was taking advantage about their restock from Fashionista to buy the blush that I wanted, Butterscotch, and Vero bought the Juicy Apricot, that I have and I already showed you in my haul from last month.
I really like this blushes. They have an unbeatable price (€1.75 right now), and last on the skin, and are super comfortable to travel (we can put them in the palette that I showed you in the same haul).

Vero pidió un Megalast Liquid Lip Colour en el tono Click on my Hyperlink, de acabado mate (a mi parecer), y con un subtono muy azulado que puede recordar al Candy Yum Yum de Mac.
Lo que no me gusta nada es que una vez retirado el plástico de seguridad, no pone el nombre en ninguna parte...
Tiene un precio de 4'69€.

Vero bought a Megalast Liquid Lip Colour in the shade Click on my Hyperlink, with a matte finish (for me), and with a bluish undertone that can make us think about the famous Mac's Candy Yum Yum.
What I really disliked from this product is that, once we remove the safety plastic, we don't have the name of the product anywhere...
It is priced at 4.69€.

También se cogió un trío de sombras de la misma marca: el Spoiled Brat.
Alba, de My Beauty Spells, dijo que le recordaba mucho a la sombra mineral Danger Zone de Mac, aunque con un rosa en vez de un rojo. La sombra de "Crease" es igual que la que os enseñé de la paleta Petal Pusher, clon de la Black Tied de Mac.
Tiene un precio de 4'49€.

She also purchased an eyeshadow trio from the same brand: the Spoiled Brat.
Alba, from My Beauty Spells, told me that it reminded her about the mineral eyeshadow by Mac, the Danger Zone, but with a pink instead of a red. The "Crease" eyeshadow looks the same as the black eyeshadow from the Petal Pusher palette, dupe for Mac's Black Tied.
It is priced at 4.49€.

Aqui podéis ver los tres colores de la paleta. Supuestamente, "Browbone" es como la Silverthorn de Mac, y "Crease" como Black Tied.

Por último, la "joya de la corona", una paleta que yo llevaba mucho tiempo queriendo conseguir: la Comfort Zone. Creo que con ésta foto podréis comprender por qué la ansiaba tanto: ¡es preciosa!

Finally, the "jewel of the crown", a palette that I had long been wanting to get: the Comfort Zone. I think with this picture you can understand why I wanted it so badly: it is really beautiful!

Haul Maquillalia - Septiembre '13

¡Comienza la semana!
Hoy traigo mi último Haul a a Maquillalia. Mi hermana quiso aprovechar el 50% que tienen en NYX, y yo me uní a ella pidiendo algunas cosillas por las que tenía curiosidad.
Mi cámara se ha estropeado, así que he usado la de mi hermana para hacer las fotos, y pido disculpas si los colores se ven un poco raros, pero todavía no me he hecho a ella.

Today I will show you my last Maquillalia's Haul. My sister wanted to take advantage of the 50% off on NYX products, and I joined her buying some things for which I was curious.
My camera was broken, so I used my sister 's for taking pictures, and I apologize if the colors look a little weird, but I have not yet made ​​it.

El champú en seco es para una amiga, ya que usó el mío (Blush) durante un festival, y ahora que se ha cortado flequillo, ha decidido hacerse con uno. Tengo pendiente haceros un review sobre los champús en seco de Batiste, pero ya sabéis que me encantan.

Mi adquisición primordial del Haul fueron los coloretes de la marca Fashionista. Tenía unas ganas tremendas de probar la marca, y a 1'75€ el colorete, no me pude resistir. Mi madre también se pidió un par, por eso en la foto veis que hay uno repetido, porque nos gustó a las dos y nos hicimos ambas con él.

My primary acquisition from this haul were the Fashionista's brand blushers. I had an overwhelming desire to try the brand, and for €1.75 a blush, I could not resist. My mother ordered a pair, so in the picture you see that there is one repeated because we liked them both and we did both buy them.

Aquí tenéis los swatches de los coloretes. Como veis, la pigmentación es increíble. Los coloretes de la marca me han sorprendido para bien, y la verdad es que para usar a diario me parecen una compra fantástica.

Here are the swatches of the blushers. As you see, the pigmentation is amazing. The brand blushers surprised me for good, and the truth is that for everyday use they seem to be a fantastic buy.

También me hice con una paleta para los coloretes, que me llevé en mi último viaje. Es mucho más resistente de lo que pensaba, y creo que para viajes cortos no voy a usar otra cosa en mucho tiempo... La paleta vacía se vende ahora mismo por 2'50€.

I also bought a palette for their blushes, which I took on my last trip. It is much sturdy than I thought, and I think that for short trips I will not use anything else in a while... The empty palette is sold right now for 2.50€.

Pedí una sombra de MUA de la gama Mate, perfecta para unificar el tono del párpado. Es la número 16, y tiene un precio de 1'49€.

I ordered a MUA matte eyeshadow, perfect to unify the shade of the eyelids. Is the number 16, and is priced at €1'49.

La primera compra de mi hermana fue el colorete Amber, y en parte me arrepiento de no haberlo pedido, puesto que es un tono precioso. Como lo están descatalogando lo tienen ahora mismo a 2'98€.

The first purchase of my sister was the Amber blush, and I partly regret not ordering it, since it is a lovely shade. As they are being discontinued from its website, they have it right now at €2.98.

Como no tenía ningún colorete (mas que uno rojo de Essence), aprovechó también para comprar éste tono melocotón de MUA, el número 04, que tiene un precio de 1'49€.

As she din't have any non-red blushes, she also bought this lovely peachy shade by MUA, the number 04, which is priced at €1'49.

En mi Haul a Maquillalia de Abril os enseñé mi Face Form de Sleek en el tono Fair. A mi hermana le gustó muchísimo la idea de tener tres productos "básicos" en una misma paleta, así que decidió cogerla en el tono Light. El bronceador y el iluminador son prácticamente iguales, sin embargo el colorete es más rosado en Light, y más anaranjado en Fair. Tiene un precio de 12'95€.

In my April's Haul to Maquillalia I showed my Face Form from Sleek in Fair. My sister really liked the idea of having three different and basic products in the same palette, so she decided to buy it in Light. The bronzer and the highlighter are virtually identical, but the blush is more pinkish in Light, and more peachy in Fair. It costs €12'95.

También compró un esmalte color chocolate de NYX, de acabado mate, que se vende ahora mismo a un precio de 1'98€.

She also bought a NYX chocolate nail polish, with a matte finish, sold now at a price of 1.98€.

Es el tono Coffee, precioso para Otoño, y necesita al menos un par de capas para cubrir completamente la uña (cuatro capas si las hacemos muy muy finas).

It's name is Coffee, and it looks so lovely for Autumn, and needs at least a couple of coats to completely cover the nail (four layers if we do very thin layer).

En cuanto a productos para labios, se hizo con tres de la marca. El primero fue el labial Alabama de NYX, de acabado mate. Tiene un precio de 2'98€, pero está ya agotado.

As for lip products, she bought three different ones from the brand. The first was the lipstick in Alabama, with a matte finish. It costs €2.98, but it is unavailable now.

El que más le sorprendió fue el Soft Matte Lip Cream, ya que no sabíamos qué tal funcionaría este tipo de producto, y le ha gustado muchísimo, porque dice que le deja los labios mate, suaves y aterciopelados. Lo podíais conseguir también en Maquillalia por 2'98€, aunque también se ha agotado.

The product which surprised her the most was the Soft Matte Lip Cream, as we did not know how this type of product would work, and she really liked it, because she says that leaves the lips matte, smooth and velvety. You could also get Maquillalia for €2.98, but it has also been discontinued now.

También adquirió un lápiz de labios rojizo, para facilitarse la aplicación de los labiales rojos. Lo podéis conseguir por 1'75€ que, para la calidad que tienen los lápices de labios de NYX, es una ganga.

She also acquired a red lipliner pencil, to facilitate the application of red lipsticks. You can get it for 1.75€ that to the quality they have, is a bargain.

Por último, adquirió un lápiz retráctil de Nyx en el tono 01 White. Lo tenéis por 2'25€ en Maquillalia.

Desde maquillalia, mandaron un par de muestras de la marca Ziaja, y un paquete de chucherías. Me encanta que siempre tengan detalles.
