The Body Shop - Beautifying Oil (Moringa & Brazil Nut)

Durante mi semana en Valencia, gracias a mi tía, que también es muy fan de The Body Shop, pude probar dos de los aceites "secos" de belleza de la marca: el de Moringa, y el de Nuez de Brasil. Me gustaron tanto que decidí hablaros de ellos en el blog.

During my week in Valencia, thanks to my aunt, who is also a fan of The Body Shop, I had the opportunity to try two of the beautifying "dry" oils from the brand: Moringa and Brazil Nut. I liked them so much that I decided to tell you about them in the blog.

Estos aceites de belleza pueden usarse en cuerpo, rostro y pelo.
Mi preferidísimo es el de Moringa, ¡huele de miedo! Este me gustaba para usar en los brazos o en el pelo, y así "perfumarme" de forma natural. Para usarlo en el pelo, ponía unas gotitas sobre mis manos, calentaba el aceite entre los dedos, y luego lo aplicaba sobre las puntas, que es la zona que tengo más seca. Este quiero comprarlo en cuanto tenga la oportunidad. Contiene manteca de cacao de Comercio Juto, además de aceite de marula, de kukui y de almendra dulce.

These beautifying oils can be used on our body, face and hair. 
My most favorite one was Moringa, because its scent is amazing! I liked to use this one on my arms and my hair, for moisture and perfume. To use it in your hair, you have to put a few drops on your hands, warm the oil between your fingers, and then apply it on the ends of your hair (I personally did that because it is the area that I have most dry). I want to buy this one for myself at the earliest opportunity. It contains cocoa butter from Fair Trade Community, and also marula, kukui and sweet almond oils.

El otro que tenía mi tía era el de Nuez de Brasil. A mi tía le gusta más este olor que el anterior, y se hizo también con el Body Mist de la misma gama. La verdad es que el olor es como agradable y "sexy" a la vez, es la única forma que se me ocurre de explicarlo. Mi tía lo aplica en rostro, brazos, y piernas, porque le deja la piel hidratada y luminosa. El aceite de nuez de brasil para los productos de The Body Shop lo obtienen de proveedores de organizaciones de Comercio Justo.

The other one that I my aunt had was the Brazil Nut beautifying oil. My aunt loves this scent more over the Moringa one, and has also purchased the Brazil Nut body mist. The truth is that the smell is as nice and "sexy" at the same time, it's the only way I can try to describe it. My aunt applies this to the face, arms, and legs, because it leaves her skin hydrated and luminous. The brazil nut oil for the products by The Body Shop is provided by Fair Trade organizations.

The Body Shop - Peppermint Intensive Foot Rescue

¡Feliz lunes, chicas! Vengo con un review que me habíais pedido por Facebook, sobre el Peppermint Intensive Foot Rescue de The Body Shop. Es un tratamiento intensivo para pies cansados y los talones agrietados. Soy fan total de las mantecas corporales de la marca, y una manteca para los pies me pareció un "must" para la época de sandalias.
Personalmente, peco de no cuidar nada esa zona. Cada una tiene sus manías, y a mi, no me gusta nada tocarme los pies, por eso me cuesta mucho aplicar cremas o productos por el estilo, pero una vez aplicados, lo agradezco.

Happy Monday, ladies! Today I'm here with a review that you requested via Facebook, about the Peppermint Intensive Foot Rescue from The Body Shop. It is an intensive treatment for tired feet and cracked heels. I am a huge fan of the body butters from this brand, and a feet butter seemed like a "must" for the sandals season. 
Personally, I sin of not taking care at all of area. Each person has its quirks, and I do not like touching my feet at all, so I can hardly apply creams or products like that, but once applied, I really appreciate it.

Se trata de una crema rosada con aroma mentolado, que se aplica dando un suave masaje para reparar y rehidratar los pies. La menta deja una sensación de frescor muy agradable. En su web indican que contiene ácidos de uva que suavizan las callosidades durante el sueño.

This is a pink cream with menthol scent, which applies massaging gently to repair and rehydrate our feet. The mint leaves a very pleasant feeling of freshness. On their website, they say that this product contains grape acids that soften calluses while we sleep.

La crema es densa, y no se absorbe instantáneamente, por lo que se recomienda aplicar por la noche para dejar que se absorba correctamente.
Personalmente, noto muchísimo la diferencia al día siguiente de aplicar el producto, y mis talones (y durezas en general) tienen muchísimo mejor aspecto.
Uso bastante poco en cada aplicación, por lo que imagino que el bote durará bastante, cosa que agradezco por el precio.

The cream is thick, and it does not absorbe instantly, so it is recommended to apply it at night to let it absorb properly. 
Personally, I notice a lot of difference the day after applying the product, and my heels (and hardness in general) I have much better appearance. 
I use very little in each application, so I guess it will last quite some time, which I thank for the price (it's not cheap).

The Body Shop - Honey Bronze Bronzer

Hoy vengo a enseñaros un producto que tenía desde hace eones en mi wishlist, y por fin puedo tacharlo (no una, ¡sino dos veces!). Estoy hablando del famoso bronceador Honey Bronze de The Body Shop. Como curiosidad, os diré que contiene miel, cera de abejas y Aceite de Marula de Namibia de Comercio Justo con Comunidades.

Today I'm here to show you a product that has been for eons in my wishlist, and I can finally cross it off (not once, but twice!). I'm talking about the famous Honey Bronze Bronzer by The Body Shop. An interesting fact is that it contains honey, beeswax and Marula oil from Namibia Community Trade.

Decía lo de "dos veces" porque yo compré el tono 02 aprovechando una oferta, aunque el que quería en principio era el 01, pero en la tienda de Fuencarral (Madrid) no lo tenían. Aun así, un par de días después, mi chico me regaló el 01 con el packaging antiguo, ¡y yo tan feliz! El packaging nuevo (derecha) me gusta mucho más que el antiguo. Otro plus del nuevo es que huele genial, mientras que el antiguo no huele a nada.

I said that I can cross it off "twice" because I bought shade 02 taking advantage of a deal, although the one I wanted at first was the 01, but the store Fuencarral (Madrid) did not had it. Even so, a few days later, my guy gave me the 01 with the old packaging, and I was so happy about it! I much prefer the new packaging (right) to the older one. Another plus is that the new smells great, while the older version does not smell like anything.

Por dentro, me parecen preciosos.
En primer lugar está el tono 01 Light Matte que, a pesar de la numeración, a mi se me hace más oscuro que el tono 02. Tiene una tonalidad más rojiza que en mi subtono rosado imita mejor lo que sería mi bronceado natural.

The inside of them is so beautiful. 
In first place I show you the 01 Light Matte that, despite the numbers, to me it looks darker than shade 02. This has a more reddish hue which in my pink undertones mimics better what would a the natural tan for my skin.

El tono 02 Fair Matte es algo más claro, y con un subtono como más "dorado", que creo que favorecerá más a pieles cetrinas.

The shade 02 Fair Matte is somewhat lighter, and with a more "golden" undertone, which I think will suit best olive skintones.

Aquí podéis ver una fotografía en la que creo que se aprecia bien la diferencia entre ambas tonalidades.

Here you can see a picture in which I think that you can clearly see the difference between the two shades.

Con mi tono de piel (NW10) es difícil encontrar un bronceador que me favorezca, y no se vea naranja, y en este sentido estoy muy contenta con ambos, ya que, aunque dejan un tono distinto, creo que los dos quedan bien en pieles blanquitas.
La textura es muy suave, y no son nada polvorientos. Además, son productos fácilmente modulables, y son mate.

With my skin tone (NW10) is hard to find a bronzer that looks good on me, and doesn't look orange, and in this sense I am very happy with both, because, although they look quite different, I think both of them look good on pale skin. 

The texture is quite silky, and they are not chalky at all. Moreover, they are easily buildable products, and they are matt.

Personalmente, por cómo queda en mi piel, me quedaría con el 01, que se ha convertido rápidamente en mi bronceador preferido, y lo uso prácticamente a diario.
