Hoy vengo a hablaros de un producto que llevo algo más de un mes probando, se trata de las mantecas de karité de Le Beurre Shop. Se trata de productos naturales, los cuales contienen más de un 80% de manteca de karité, e ingredientes 100% naturales.

Veréis que hay productos de los que no digo los precios. Esto se debe a que ahora mismo no se encuentran en la web, puesto que la están actualizando, e incluirán los nuevos olores y tamaños el próximo mes.

I'm here to review today a product that I've been trying for over a month now, and it is the shea butters from Le Beurre Shop. These are natural products which contain more than 80% of shea butter and 100% natural ingredients.
You would see that I don't say the prices of some of the products that I'll show you. This is because they are updating their website and they aren't listed yet, but they will include new scents and sizes in the next month or so.

Empezaré por hablaros de uno de mis productos preferidos, su Manteca Facial de Karité. Lo cierto es que tengo la piel mixta/grasa, pero bastante deshidratada. Me daba un poco de "miedo" aplicar la manteca por todo el rostro, ya que con otros productos de este estilo he tenido reacciones antes (mi cara responde con acné cuando la hidrato demasiado). Decidí probarla para la zona superior del labio (la zona "del bigote") para después de depilarme, y es mi preferida hasta el momento. Una vez depilada la zona con cera y habiendo retirado los restos con aceite de oliva y agua, aplico una fina capa de manteca facial, y evita que se me irrite la zona y amanezca al día siguiente con granitos por donde he depilado. La recomendaría sin duda alguna para aquellas personas de pieles mixtas o grasas que quieran usarla en zonas concretas, o para aquellas con la piel seca o muy seca. No tiene olor, o al menos yo no lo aprecio. Es mas densa que una loción, pero se absorbe bastante bien.

I will start reviewing one of my favorite products, their Shea Butter Face Cream. The truth is that I have combination to oily skin, but quite dehydrated. I was a little "scared" to apply the shea butter all over the face, as with other products of this kind I have had reactions before (my face responds with acne when I hydrate it too much). I decided to try it for the upper lip (the "mustache" area) for after shaving, and it is my favorite so far. Once shaved the area with wax and having removed the remains of wax with olive oil and water, I apply a thin layer of this face cream, and prevents the irritation of the area and the bumps that sometimes appear the next day after waxing. I certainly recommend this product to those with combination or oily skin who want to use it in specific areas, or for those with dry or very dry skin. It is odorless, or at least I do not appreciate it. It's heavier than a lotion, but the skin absorbes quite well.

El siguiente producto tiene sus más y sus menos. Se trata de la Manteca de Karité sin olor. Es una crema muy muy hidratante que deja la piel extremadamente suave. Mi problema es el olor, me huele muy fuerte, y es un olor que no me termina de agradar. Tras aplicar la crema, he de lavarme las manos inmediatamente para evitar estar oliendo el producto. No sé si es una manía mía con los olores, pero simplemente el olor hace que para mi sea desagradable aplicar la manteca. 

The following product has its pluses and minuses. I'm talking about the Unscented Shea Butter Cream. It's a very very moisturizing cream that leaves the skin so silky and smooth. My problem is the smell, it smells very strong, and is a scent that I find quite unpleasant. After applying the cream, I have to wash my hands immediately to avoid smelling the product. I don't know if it's a pet peeve of mine with the smells, but just the smell makes for me unpleasant to apply this butter.

Por otro lado tenemos el mismo producto pero con distintos olores: Lavanda, Citronela, Salvia y Vainilla. Las mantecas actúa de la misma forma que la anterior sobre la piel, solo que con un olor bastante más agradable. Yo aplico la mantead sobre las piernas después de ducharme o depilarme, y las mantiene completamente hidratadas (tened en cuenta que yo tengo las piernas muy muy secas por problemas de circulación).

Los precios de las mantecas, tanto la anterior como estas son de 20$ por 113'40 gr. (4 oz.) y 12$ por 56'70gr. (2 oz.)

On the other hand we have the same product but with different scents: Lavender, Lemongrass, Sage and Vanilla. 
Those shea butter act in the same way as the unscented on the skin, but have a much more pleasant odor. I apply the she butter on the lower part of my legs after a shower or after shaving, and keeps them fully hydrated (keep in mind that I have very very dry legs due to poor circulation).
The prices of this shea butters, both the unscented and the scented ones is $20 for 4 oz. (113'40 gr.) and $12 for 2 oz. (56'70 gr.)

Por último, un producto que me ha encantado: su bálsamo labial de manteca de karité. He de decir que es un producto fantástico que hidrata al momento los labios más estropeados. No tiene ningún olor apreciable o molesto, la textura es mantecosa y no deja color blanquecino en los labios como otros bálsamos.

Finally, a product that I've been loving: their shea butter lip balm. I must say that it is a fantastic product that moisturizes the lips when damaged. It has no noticeable or annoying scent, the texture is buttery and leaves no white color on the lips like other balms.

Ingredients: Shea Butter, Grapeseed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Essential Oils, Rice Powder, Purified Water and Soy Lecithin.

Sé que os gustan mucho los hauls de Maquillalia, así que hoy os traigo el del pedido que hice con mi prima política y con otra amiga aprovechando los gastos de envío gratis que ofrecieron en Maquillalia a principios de mes. Sólo os enseñaré los productos por encima, así que si queréis algún review en profundidad de alguno no tenéis más que pedirlo (aunque el del iluminador de MeMeMe está ya en proceso).

I know that you really like Maquillalia's hauls, so today I bring you the order that I made with my cousin and another friend drawing on the free shipping they offered in their website earlier this month. I wouldn't review in depth the products, only show you what we got, so if you want some in-depth review of one  of them you just have to ask (although the MeMeMe highlighter is already in progress).

Empezaré por la sombra de NYX que pidió Vero, la Blonde Pearl. Se trata de un  dorado amarillento de acabado frost/shimmer. La textura es muy sedosa, y el color es tal y como se ve en la caja. En la foto podéis ver el swatch sin ningún tipo de Mixing o prebase, aunque quizá la zona de la mano donde lo hice no es la más adecuada, ya que el ojo no tiene esa textura tan arrugada, a menos que seamos un dinosaurio. Tiene un precio de 6'95€.

I will start by NYX's eyeshadow that Vero bought, the Blonde Pearl. It is a yellowish golden eyeshadow with a frosty/shimmery finish. The texture is very silky, and the color is as it looks in the pan. In the picture you can see the swatch without any Mixing or base, but perhaps the area of my hand where I did the swatch is not the most appropriate, because the eye does not have that wrinkled texture, unless you are a dinosaur. It costs €6'95.

La siguiente sombra es una que pedí yo en formato godet de Hean, la 808 (MT). No había probado ninguna sombra de la marca, así que me decidí con ésta ya que necesitaba una en este tono y mate para combinar con mis sombras de Makeup Geek que espero enseñaros en breves. Aunque es algo tizosa, la pigmentación es buena, así que por 2'49€, creo que repetiré. 

The next eyeshadow is one that I bought from the spanish brand Hean, the 808 (MT). I hadn't tried any eyeshadow of this brand before, so I went with it because I needed one in this shade and matte to match some of my eyeshadows from Makeup Geek that I hopefully show you in brief. Although it is a bit chalky, the pigmentation is good, so for €2'49, I will repeat.

El labial de Catrice "110 Pink Me Up!" Fue otra de las adquisiciones de Vero. Lo pidió junto al Lip Liner "007 The Roof Is On Fire" de la misma marca. La pigmentación es muy buena, como podéis comprobar, y es un color sandía pero tirando a rosado. Tiene un precio de 4'49€.

The Catrice lipstick "110 Pink Me Up!" was another of the Vero's acquisitions. She bought it together with the "007 The Roof Is On Fire" Lip Liner from the same brand. The pigmentation is very good, as you can see, and it is like a pinkish watermelon. It costs €4'49.

En la siguiente foto podéis ver la comparativa entre el labial 110, y el Precision Lip Liner "007 The Roof Is On Fire", que casan prácticamente a la perfección. El lápiz es retráctil y tiene un precio de 2'79€.

In the next picture you can see the comparison between the 110 lipstick and the "007 The Roof Is On Fire" Precision Lip Liner , which fit almost perfectly. The pen is retractable and is priced at €2'79.

Del iluminador Pearl Pink de MeMeMe os hablaré en profundidad en un post próximo, pero deciros que me está gustando muchísimo, tanto que merece un post para él solito, y tiene un precio de 7'40€.

I will show you and review you MeMeMe's Pearl Pink highlighter later this week, but I must tell you that I'm enjoying it very much, so it deserves a post all to himself, and is priced at €7'40.

Por último, los champús en seco de Batiste o, para mi, mi nuevo indispensable para festivales. Es perfecto para dejar de nuevo perfecto el flequillo cuando no tienes una ducha a mano, tienes prisa, pereza, o simplemente quieres alargar la distancia entre lavado y lavado. Yo compré el "Blush", que tiene un aroma floral muy suave y agradable, y mi amiga Almu compró el "Tropical", que huele a coco. Cada uno tiene un precio de 4'75€, aunque ahora mismo sigue rebajado en Maquillalia, con un precio de 3'75€.

Finally, Batiste dry shampoos and, for me, my new indispensable for music festivals. It is perfect for having perfect bangs back when you don't have a shower, you are in a hurry, a bit lazy, or just want to lengthen the distance between washes. I bought the "Blush" one, which has a very soft floral scent , and my friend Almu bought the "Tropical" which smells like coconut. Each one is priced at €4'75, though now in Maquillalia is lowered, with a price of €3'75.

Sobre Maquillalia, fueron súper rápidos, como siempre, e incluyeron un par de muestras y una bolsa de ositos de gominola con azúcar. El trato al cliente de la empresa es inmejorable. Volveré a pedir sin duda alguna, aunque no tengo previsto ningún pedido próximo, pero nunca se sabe. Espero que os haya gustado la entrada y os de algunas ideas para vuestro próximo pedido.

Elisabeth Llorca - Primavera/Verano '13

Día de huelga, aunque no en internet, así que aquí me tenéis con un nuevo post.

Vengo a presentaros la colección Primavera/Verano de Elisabeth Llorca. Como veis el colorido de la colección habla por sí solo. Genial, ¿no os parece? No había probado ningún producto para labios ni para uñas de la marca, y la verdad es que he quedado encantada. ¡Espero que os guste tanto como a mi!

I come to show you the Spring/Summer collection from Elisabeth Llorca. As you can see the colors of the collection speaks for itself. Great, aren't they? I hadn't tried any lip or nail product from this brand before and the truth is that I have been delighted. Hope you like it as much as me!

Empezaré con los "Gloss Lippencil". Se trata de seis lápices de labios con un olor avainillado muy agradable. Llevaba tiempo queriendo probar un producto de éste tipo, y la verdad es que me han gustado bastante. Como todo el mundo, tengo mis colores preferidos, y otros que me gustan menos (para mi). En la foto podéis ver todos los colores en orden inverso (6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1). Preferiría que además de numeración tuviesen algún nombre, así me resulta más fácil a la hora de recordar un tono.

I'm going to start with the "Gloss lippencil." There are six lipsticks with a very nice vanilla scent. For quite a long time I've been wanting to try a product on this format, and the truth is that I liked them a lot. Like everyone else, I have my favorite colors, and others that I dislike (on me). In the picture you can see all the colors in reverse order (6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1). I will prefer them to have a name instead of only the numbering, because with names, I find it easier to remember which one is every shade.

No me resecan para nada, aunque los colores que llevan "brilli-brilli" marcan los pellejitos (véase el tono 1). Los que no llevan ese tipo de partículas son muy suaves en los labios, y dejan un acabado muy bonito. Duran bastante bien en el labio, aunque al ser tan cremosos, tenemos que retocar a lo largo del día. Mi preferido sin duda es el 4, un color muy especial y que está muy de moda. El precio es muy asequible, tan sólo 2'95€, y yo creo que merece la pena probar. Espero que los swatches os ayuden a elegir vuestro preferido:

In general, they are not drying at all, although the colors that have sparkle on them look worse on the lips (see shade 1). Those who do have that kind of particles are very soft on the lips, and leave a nice finish. They last quite well on the lips, but as they are so creamy, we have to touch up throughout the day. My favorite is definitely the 4th shade, a special color that is very fashionable. The price is very affordable, only 2'95 €, and I think they worth trying. I hope the swatches help you to choose your favorite one:

Respecto a los esmaltes, los colores me han parecido preciosos para la época del año, y son unos tonos muy originales. No son de secado rápido, así que tenemos que dejar las manos quietas hasta que se sequen si no queremos tener que rehacer alguna uña. Duran bastantes días perfectos. Como sabéis, a mi los pintauñas se me saltan con mirarlos, pero los probé en mi hermana y le duraron una semana sin problemas (de hecho se las quitó porque se había cansado del color). Sólo se le saltó una uña en una esquina.

Regarding the nail polishes, I found the colors very beautiful for this time of the year, and they are very original shades. There aren't fast drying, so we have to stop using our hands until dry if we do not want to have to redo a nail. They last very well. As you know, I skip the nail polishes in a day, but I tried them on my sister and lasted a week without problems (in fact, she took them off because she was tired of the color). She only had a crack on a corner of a nail in those days.

Algunos colores (los más oscuros) son bastante opacos, pero los neon necesitan varias capas, porque son bastante transparentes, pero todos son muy brillantes.
Mi preferido es sin duda alguna el tono 23, que ya os enseñé en mis Favoritos de Abril. A ese esmalte en concreto le daba un 10.

Some colors (the darkest ones) are quite opaque, but the neon ones need several layers, because they are quite transparent, but all of them are very bright.
My favorite is definitely the 23rd, which I showed in my April Favorites post. This particular shade deserves a 10.

Yo he estado utilizando el producto en los labios, ya que, como bien he dicho cientos de veces, con el frío siempre los tengo destrozados. El ungüento de Papaya me ha funcionado como un producto milagroso: extiendo el mismo sobre los labios agrietados, y se suavizan al instante. Además, como he mencionado, tienen muchísimos usos (y por ello también, podemos encontrarlos en distintos formatos). Tengo el tubo de 25 gr. y es genial para aplicar en cualquier lado y llevar en el bolso.

I have been using the product on my lips, because, as I have said a hundred times, with the cold weather and the wind I have always cracked lips. This Papaya Ointment has worked like a miracle product: I extend it over chapped lips, and they will be instantly smooth. Also, as I mentioned, it has many other uses (and therefore also can be found in different formats). I have the 25 gr. tube, and its so great to apply everywere and carry on my handbag.

Skin79 - Thin Sponge

Os traigo un review que muchas me habíais pedido sobre la esponja de maquillaje "Thin Sponge" de la marca Skin79. La compré hará cosa de mes y medio, y desde entonces la he usado continuamente.
Viene en una cajita representativa de la colección a la que pertenece, "Kick It Side" (de la que ya os he enseñado algunos productos), es naranja, y tiene una forma my ergonómica. Os adelanto que no he utilizado nunca ninguna otra esponja de maquillaje, así que no puedo hacer comparativa respecto a otras.

I bring you a review that many of you had asked me about, and it's on the makeup sponge "Thin Sponge" by Skin79. I bought it a month and a half back, and since then I have used it continuously.
It comes in a box representing the collection to which it belongs, "Kick It Side" (I have showed you some of the products from this collection befor), it is orange, and with an ergonomic shape. I advance that I have not ever used any other makeup sponge, so I can not make comparative over other ones.

A diferencia de otras esponjas, ésta no cambia de tamaño aunque la mojes (como es el caso de la Beauty Blender). Lo que veis en seco es con lo que trabajaréis.
Si que es verdad que "chupa" algo de producto, pero al igual que cualquier otra herramienta de maquillaje con la que trabajéis, a menos que trabajéis el maquillaje con las manos. Tiene un tamaño muy cómodo tanto para las zonas más grandes del rostro, como para zonas más pequeñas, aunque a mi me resulta más cómodo terminar de aplicar el producto en los rincones más difíciles con los dedos (como en las aletas de la nariz).

Unlike other makeup sponges, it is not resized even when it is wet (as is the case of the Beauty Blender). What you see when the sponge is dry is what you will work with.
It is true that it absorbs some of the product, but like any other makeup tool with which you work, unless the tools that you work with are your hands. 
It has a very comfortable size for both larger areas of the face, and for smaller areas, although I find it easier to apply the product in the most difficult corners with my fingers (as in the nostrils).

Es muy maleable, y no pierde la forma por mucho que la presionemos (ya sea en horizontal o en vertical). Ya sólo quedaría dejarla secar, ¡y queda perfecta!

Yo la uso en seco normalmente, aunque también puede usarse húmeda. Deja un acabado muy bonito en la piel, especialmente si tenemos zonas con descamaciones, acné, o imperfecciones varias, ya que al aplicar a toquecitos en vez de "arrastrando el producto" no nos marca las imperfecciones. Aplico con ella tanto mi BB Cream como otras bases de maquillaje, y me gusta mucho como quedan. Tiene un precio de 7'90€, más económica que otras esponjas de maquillaje, por lo que a la pregunta de si la recomiendo, desde luego, yo no me arrepiento de la compra en absoluto. Además, no contiene látex.
