Primor | October Haul '14 (mostly vegan!)

¡Feliz martes, chicas! ¿Cómo lleváis la semana vegana? Yo os traigo hoy mis últimas compras a Primor. Todo lo que compré yo es vegano, aunque hay un labial que no (es de mi prima), pero aprovecho para enseñarlo por si alguien quería ver el color.
Lo bueno que tienen marcas como Milani, es que es muy sencillo saber qué productos son veganos o no, ya que ellos mismos los indican en su propia web.

Happy Tuesday, girls! Are you having a nice vegan week?  Today I'm here to show you my latest purchases on Primor.  Everything I bought is vegan, although there is a lipstick that it's not mine (my cousin's) that isn't, but I wanted to swatch it for you in case anyone wanted to see the color. 
The great thing about brands like Milani, is that it is very easy to know which products are vegan and which aren't, as they themselves point it out in their own web.

Tenía unas ganas locas de probar esta marca, ya que había oído hablar muy bien de ella, y es cruelty-free. Los coloretes tienen buenísima fama, así que me hice con dos de ellos.
Este primero es el tono 10 Delizioso Pink, un rosa chicle "mate" precioso (ambos coloretes, a pesar de ser mate, tienen un puntito satinado).

I wanted so bad to try this brand because I had heard very good reviews about it, and is cruelty-free. The blushes have very good reputation, so I bought two of them. 
This first one is 10 Delizioso Pink, a bubblegum pink with a beautiful "mate" finish (both blushes, despite being matte, look a bit satin for me).

También me hice con el tono 11 Bella Rosa, un rojizo rosado intenso, con un acabado "mate" (lo mismo, es ligeramente satinado).
Cada uno tiene un precio de 6'95€ en Primor. Todos los coloretes cocidos de Milani son productos veganos, y vienen con 3'5gr. de producto.

I also bought the shade 11 Bella Rosa, a deep reddish pink, with a "mate" finish (same than the las one, is slightly satin). 
Each one is priced at €6'95 on Primor.  All the baked blushes by Milani are vegan products, and come with 3'5gr. of product.

El siguiente es el único producto no vegano del haul, que es un labial para mi prima, el 17 Plumrose. Es un rosa oscuro con un punto malva de acabado cremoso. Estos labiales tienen un precio de 5'20€ en Primor, y vienen con 3'97gr. de producto.

The next product is the only non-vegan product from this haul, which is a lipstick for my cousin, the 17 Plumrose. It is a dark mauve pink with a creamy finish. These lipsticks are priced at €5'20 on Primor  and come with 3'97gr. of product.

Por último, otro producto vegano: el 12hr Wear Eyeshadow Pencil en el tono Cafe Au Lait. Es como los lápices jumbo de Jordana que tanto amo, exactamente el mismo formato, y tienen colores iguales (son de la misma "marca madre"), pero Milani tiene mucha más variedad de tono. Cafe Au Lait es un tono chocolate con leche de acabado mate. Todavía no he probado este en concreto (me acaba de llegar), pero sabiendo que son iguales que los de Jordana, os los recomiendo encarecidamente. Yo los uso como base para otras sombras, o solos, ya que me aguantan muchísimas horas sin sacar pliegues, y sin necesidad de usar una prebase.
Cada lápiz tiene un precio de 5'99€ en Primor, y viene con 2'8gr. de producto.

Lastly, another vegan product: 12hr Wear Eyeshadow Pencil in the shade Cafe Au Lait. It's like the jumbo pencils by Jordana that I love, exactly the same format and have the same colors (they are by the same "parent company"), but Milani has much more variety of shades. Cafe Au Lait is a milk chocolate shade with matte finish. I haven't tried this one in particular (I just arrived today), but knowing that they are the same as the ones by Jordana, I highly recommend them. I use them as a base for other eyeshadows, or by themselves, and they are super longasting without the need of an eyeshadow primer. 
Each shadow pencil is priced at €5'99 on Primor, and come with 2'8gr. of product.

Makeup Geek - Blushes (First Love, Love Affair and Bliss)

¡Feliz martes, chicas! Hoy vengo de nuevo con una de mis marcas preferidas: Makeup Geek. Esta vez os daré mi opinión sobre su coloretes, ya que han sido su último lanzamiento. En la web podéis encontrar 13 tonos distintos, y yo hoy os mostraré 3 de ellos. Como veis, dos son en compacto, y uno en godet. Todos sus coloretes están libres de talco y parabenes, y, por supuestísimo, son cruelty-free.

Happy Tuesday, ladies! Today I'm here again with one of my favorite brands: Makeup Geek. This time I will give you my opinion on their blushes, as they have been their last release. On the website you can find 13 different shades, and today I will show you 3 of them. You see, two are in compact, and one in a pan. All their blushes are talc-free and paraben-free, and, of course, they are are cruelty-free too.

El primero de los coloretes se llama First Love. Pigmenta muy bien, y la textura es suave, aunque es tan fina que suelta polvillo. Es un tono rosa palo muy claro, más claro que el colorete Katie de Illamasqua, y similar al Ambient Glow de Hourglass.
En pieles menos claras que la mía, dará un aspecto luminoso a la piel. Mi problema es que en mi piel (¿NW10?) es como si desapareciese, como si se fundiese con mi piel casi por completo, por lo que todavía no he encontrado una forma de utilizarlo solo. Sin embargo, yo lo estoy usando como un "transformador de coloretes", mezclándolo con otros que tengo que son demasiado oscuros/marrones para mi, y consiguiendo así nuevos tonos que se me adapten mejor.
La duración en la piel es muy buena, y me aguanta una jornada laboral sin problemas. Aun así, es el que menos me ha gustado ya que, como bien he dicho, no puedo usarlo solo. Este colorete no es vegano, ya que lleva carmín.

The first blush is called First Love. The pigmentation is great and the texture is soft, but is so thin that it's dusty (but not chalky!). It is a really pale pink, lighter that Illamasqua's Katie blush, and similar to Ambient Glow by Hourglass.

In not-as-fair-skins (compared to mine) it give a luminous look to the skin. My problem is that on my skin (NW10?) is like if it disappeared, as if the color melted with my skin almost completely, so I have not yet found a way to use it alone. However, I'm using it as a "transformer blusher", mixed with other blushes that I have which are too dark/brown for me, to do new shades that look better on my skin.

The duration on the skin is very good, and it stays a working day without problems. Still, it's my least favorite of the bunch because, as I mentioned, I can not use it alone. This blush is not vegan, as it has carmine.

El siguiente es Bliss, un colorete perfecto para el verano. Como veis, este es en formato godet, que es algo más barato, y perfecto para colocar en nuestras paletas sin tener que depotar.
Se trata de un tono salmón claro de acabado mate. Personalmente, se me hace muy similar al Immortal Flower de Mac, aunque parece ser que el de Mac es un pelitín más claro. Es un colorete fantástico, y se integra genial en la piel. Al igual que el anterior, también me dura una jornada laboral completa. Este colorete es vegano.

The next one is Bliss, the perfect blush for summer. As you see, this is the pan format, which is a bit cheaper, and perfect to place in our palettes without deporting them. 

It is a light salmon shade with a matte finish. Personally, I find it very similar to Immortal Flower Mac, but it seems that the Mac one is a tad lighter. 
It's a great blush, and blends nicely on the skin great skin. As First Love, also lasts on my a good 8 hours. This blush is vegan.

Por último está Love Affair, un rosa coral increíble, de acabado satinado, que aporta luminosidad a la piel. Este tipo de tonos me encantan en pieles claras, porque dejan un aspecto "Blancanieves" precioso. El tono más parecido que tengo en mi colección es el "Bubble Gum" de MUA, pero éste último es bastante más rosado. Este colorete es vegano.

Finally we have Love Affair, which is an incredible coral pink, with a satin finish that makes the skin look luminous. I really love this type of shade on lighter skintones, because they make us look like "Snow White." The closest shade I have in my collection is "Bubble Gum" by MUA, but the one by MUA is much more pink. This blush is vegan.

Aquí tenéis swatches de los tres coloretes puestos en mi brazo. Como veis, en el brazo sí se aprecia el tono de First Love, pero en el rostro tengo muchas rojeces y la piel más rosada. 

Here you have swatches of the three blushes swatched on my arm. As you see, in my arm, First Love looks nice, but on the face I have much more redness than in my arms, and it looks like nothing.

Boho Cosmetics - Blush and Eyeliner

Hoy vengo a hablaros de una marca francesa que ha sido todo un descubrimiento para mi: Boho Cosmetics. Varias bloggers enseñaron algunos de sus productos, ya que venían con las Essentia Box, pero la pega es que los productos que hoy enseño no se venden en España (sólo online). Aun así, probé un par de ellos, y hoy vengo a contaros mi opinión.

Today I come to speak about a French brand that has been a revelation to me: Boho Cosmetics  Several bloggers showed some of their products, since they came with a Essentia Box, but the downside is that the products are not sold in physical stores in Spain (they are just available online). Still, I tried a couple of them, and today I come to tell you my opinion.

Lo primero es el colorete Bois de Rose (Rosewood). Se trata de un producto con un 99% de ingredientes de origen natural, y un 10% de origen ecológico. El packaging es de cartón, y es muy ligero, aunque la tapa protege bien el producto. Pigmenta muy bien. Mi única pega es que el tono me sienta FATAL. Yo había leído que era un tono rojizo, pero, como veis, en mi piel es muy marrón, y no me favorece en absoluto. Personalmente, lo recomendaría para pieles más oscuras que la mía.
Contiene 4'5gr. de producto, y tiene un precio de 11'70€.

The first is the Bois de Rose (Rosewood) blush. It is a product with 99% ingredients of natural origin, and 10% of organic origin. The packaging is made ​​of cardboard and is very light, while the cover protects the product nicely. Its pigmentation is great. The only downside is that the shade is not great for me. I had read that it was a reddish shade, but, as you cam see, on my skin it looks brownish, and it does not look good at all. Personally, I would recommend this shade for darker skintones than mine.
Contains 4'5gr. product, and is priced at €11'70.

El siguiente es el producto que me tiene completamente enamorada: el Green Liner. En este caso, el 99% de los ingredientes son de origen natural, y el 20% de los mismos son de origen ecológico.

The following product is the one that I absolutely love: the Green Liner. In this case, 99% of the ingredients are of natural origin, and 20% of them are from organic origin.

El mío es el tono 01, un negro muy intenso, que deja un acabado mate, y está disponible en otros dos tonos (marrón y azul) . La punta es de fieltro, que son mis preferidas. Me dura todo el día intacto, y puedo usarlo tambiéna ras de las pestañas inferiores, aunque no es waterproof. Además, es muy fácil de desmaquillar, ya que tengo otros eyeliners líquidos que duran todo el día, pero que, sin embargo, me cuesta desmaquillar. Para mi es el "producto estrella", y me encantaría que lo vendiesen en España, ya que se convertiría sin duda en un fijo de mi neceser.
Contiene 3ml de producto, y tiene un precio de 10'90€. 

Mine is the shade 01, a very intense black, that has a matte finish and is available in two other shades (brown and blue). It has a felt tip, which are my favorites. It lasts all day intact, and I can also use it on the lower lashline, although it is not waterproof. It is also very easy to remove with makeup remover, since I have other liquid eyeliners that last all day, but, however, I find them hard to remove. For me it is the best that I've tried from this brand, and my favorite eyeliner,  so I would love to have it in Spain, as it would become definitely a must producto on my vanity.
Contains 3ml of product, and is priced at €10'90.

The Balm - Cindy Lou Manizer

Hoy os traigo el review sobre uno de los últimos lanzamientos de The Balm: el Cindy-Lou Manizer.

Today I bring you a review on one of the latest releases by The Balm: Cindy-Lou Manizer.

Como podéis ver, el packaging es del mismo tipo que sus "primos", el Mary-Lou Manizer y el Betty-Lou Manizer (review aquí), y trae la misma cantidad: 8'5 gramos de producto.

As you can see, the packaging looks the same as the Mary-Lou Manizer and Betty-Lou Manizer (review here), and has the same amount: 8.5 grams of product.

Se trata de un iluminador que recuerda mucho al Mary-Lou de la misma marca, sólo que en un tono distinto: el tono del Cindy-Lou es un rosado melocotón.

It is a highlighter very similar to the Mary-Lou by the same brand, just in a different shade: the shade of the Cindy-Lou is a pinky peach.

Como podéis ver, el Mary-Lou es mucho más dorado. Además, el envase ha cambiado ligeramente: podéis ver que el godet ahora no está "hundido",  el espejo es más grande, y, aunque no sea visible en la foto, ahora es más fino.

As you can see, the Mary-Lou is much more yellow. In addition, the packaging has changed slightly: you can see that the godet now is not "sunk", the mirror is larger, and, although it is not visible in the photo, is now thinner.

Aquí podéis ver los tonos de ambos. Los dos son productos muy pigmentados, pero el Cindy-Lou resulta más polvoriento.

Here you can see the shades of both of them. The two products are very pigmented, but the Cindy-Lou is more dusty.

La diferencia es evidente. El Cindy-Lou puede utilizarse como colorete en pieles claras, pero he de advertir que remarca mucho los poros (como cualquier producto "iluminador" en esa zona).
Para mi, como mejor funciona el Cindy-Lou en pieles claras es aplicado sobre otros coloretes, para darles un halo de luz.

The difference is obvious. The Cindy-Lou can be used as blush on fair skin, but I must warn that it remarks the pores so much (as any "highlighting" product in that area). 

For me, the better way to use the Cindy-Lou on fair skin is applied over other blushes to give them a halo of light.

Haul Primor - Febrero '14

Hoy vengo a traeros una compras que he hecho en Primor Online con mis hermanas. En Primor suelen tener una oferta del 3x2 en maquillaje de Beautik, así que, en mi opinión, es el mejor lugar para hacerse con productos de Sleek si queremos varias cosas. Yo llevaba tiempo detrás de los "Blush By Three", y por el mismo precio que hubiese comprado dos, me llevé tres a casa.

Today I come to show you the things I've bought with my sisters on Primor Online. On their website, they usually have a 3x2 offer on Beautik makeup, so, in my opinion, it is the best place to buy products from Sleek if we want several things. I've been wanting the "Blush By Three" for over a year now, and for the same price that I would have bought two, I took three home.

Como ya habréis visto, mi hermanas están encantadas con la base Photo Finish de Catrice, y como la compraron por primera vez al mismo tiempo, suelen reponerla a la vez.
Dicen que les deja un acabado precioso en la piel. Por desgracia, el tono más claro (010 Sand Beige), me queda oscuro, y cuando oxida en mi piel es aún peor... ¿para cuándo un tono más claro, señores de Catrice?

As you may have seen, my sisters are delighted with the Photo Finish foundation by Catrice, and bought them the first together, so they usually replace it together too. 
They say it leaves a beautiful finish on the skin. Unfortunately, the lightest shade (010 Sand Beige), looks dark on me, and when it oxidizes on my skin, it looks even worse... when will you do a lighter shade, Catrice?

Una de mis hermanas me pidió que le comprase un colorete, y yo decidí cogerle su primer colorete de Sleek, ya que, en relación calidad/precio, me parecen inmejorables.
El tono que escogí fue el Sunrise, ya que a mi hermana le gusta estar bronceada, y éste colorete ayuda a reforzar ese efecto.

One of my sisters asked me to buy her a blush, and I decided to get her her first Sleek blush since, at price/quality ratio, they seem unbeatable. 
The shade that I chose was Sunrise, as my sister likes to be tanned, and this blush helps reinforce that effect.

En cuanto a los "Blush By Three", el primero que escogí fue el Lace. Los tonos, de izquierda a derecha, son: Crochet, Guipure y Chantilly. Al parecer, Guipure es clon del Rose Gold de los individuales de la marca, y Chantilly del Pan Tao, que fue de edición limitada.

As for "Blush By Three", the first one I chose was Lace. The shades from left to right are: Crochet, Guipure and Chantilly. Apparently, Guipure is a dupe for Rose Gold from the same brand, and Chantilly is a dupe for Pan Tao, which was limited edition.

El siguiente trío que escogí fue el Flame. Los tonos son: Furnance, Bon Fire y Molten. En éste caso, Furnance parece que es igual que el colorete Lantern del trío Pumpkin de la misma marca, y Bon Fire es igual que Scandalous, que fue un colorete de Edición Limitada. Además, Molten es prácticamente igual que el colorete Gilda de Nars, uno de mis preferido.

The next trio that I chose was Flame. The shades are: Furnance, Bon Fire and Molten. In this case, Molten looks like Lantern from the Pumpkin trio of the same brand, and Bon Fire is like Scandalous, which was a Limited Edition blush. In addition, Molten is almost a dupe for Gilda by Nars, one of my favorite shades ever.

El último trío que escogí fue el Sugar, con los coloretes Turbinado, Muscovado y Demerara. Muscovado es igual que el colorete individual que le compré a mi hermana, el Sunrise, y Demerara es igual que el colorete Flushed de la marca. Turbinado es muy similar al colorete Life's A Peach de la marca.

The last trio that I chose was Sugar, with the shades Turbinado, Muscovado and Demerara. Muscovado is the same as the single blush I bought for my sister, Sunrise, and Demerara is just like Flushed from the brand. Turbinado is very similar to Life's A Peach by Sleek.
