Hoy vengo a enseñaros el "haul" de la nueva colección Butterfly Valley de Nabla Cosmetics.

Today I come to show you the "haul" of the new collection by Nabla Cosmetics: Butterfly Valley.
All the products in this collection are suitable for vegans.

Las sombras contienen 2'5 gr. de producto, y los labiales, a pesar de parecer pequeños, traen 4'2gr. de producto (en MAC vienen 3gr.). 

The eyeshadows contain 2.5 gr of product, and the lipstick, although they seem small, have 4'2gr. of product (MAC lipsticks have 3g. of product per lipstick).

Empezaré enseñando las sombras, que se pueden usar tanto en seco como en mojado.
La primera es Wild Side, un marrón medio de acabado mate precioso. Es un tono muy básico que me encanta para diario. La sombra Narciso de la marca es más clara y más rosada.

I will start showing you the eyeshadows, which can be used dry or wet.
The first one is Wild Side, a medium brown with a lovely matte finish. It is a very basic shade that I love for everyday looks. Narciso, by the same brand, is paler and pinker.

Unrestricted es una sombra muy especial. Se trata de una sombra duocromática con base ciruela/burdeos y muchísimos destellos dorados. Me parece una sombra perfecta para looks de noche, y la pigmentación es buenísima. Aquí se ve más marrón, pero en la foto del final podréis ver que una vez aplicada sobre la piel se aprecia mucho más el tono rojizo.

Unrestricted is a very special shade. It is a duochrome shade with a plum/burgundy base and lots of golden glitter. I looks like a perfect shade for evening looks, and the pigmentation is awesome. Here it looks more brown, but at the end of this post you have the swatches on my arm, and you can see that once applied to the skin its reddish tone is much appreciated.

Peach Velvet es un naranja melocotón pastel precioso de acabado mate. Me recuerda un poco a la famosísima Peach Smoothie de Makeup Geek que todo el mundo adora para transiciones, aunque Peach Velvet parece más clara (no tengo la de MUG para comparar).

Peach Velvet is a beautiful pastel peach with a matte finish. It reminds me to the famous Peach Smoothie eyeshadow by Makeup Geek that everyone loves to use as a transition shade, although Peach Velvet seems paler (I do not have the MUG one to compare).

Moonrise es un gris plomo con un toque violáceo, y con shimmer. Como todas las sombras, tiene una pigmentación muy buena.

Moonrise is a lead-gray with a violet touch, and shimmer. Like all the eyeshadows, it has a very good pigmentation.

Lilac Wonder es un púrpura claro con reflejo azul, morado, lila y blanquecino. Es una sombra muy luminosa. 

Lilac Wonder is a light purple with blue, purple, lilac and white shimmer. It is a very luminous shade.

Por último está Pegasus, una sombra duocromo de color lavanda pastel con un intenso reflejo en champagne. Me parece una sombra súper especial, y es de mis preferidas de la colección.

Finally I have Pegasus, a duochrome pastel lavender shade with a strong reflection in champagne. I think it is a super special shade and is my favorite of this collection.

En cuanto a los labiales, en esta colección sacaron dos nuevos Diva Crime: Balkis y Beverly.
Balkis es un tono muy de los 90, un rosa amarronado precioso.
Beverly es un tono frambuesa.
Me encanta la formulación de estos labiales. Os enseñé algunos más en el anterior post que dediqué a la marca. 

Regarding the lipsticks, in this collection they brought out two new Diva Crime: Balkis and Beverly.
Balkis is a very 90s shade, a beautiful brownish pink.
Beverly is a raspberry shade.
I love the formulation of these lipsticks. I showed you some more in the previous post I dedicated to the brand.

Aquí podéis ver swatches de los mismos. Son muy pigmentados (cobertura total en una pasada), y huelen muy bien.

Here you can see swatches of them. They are highly pigmented (total coverage in one swipe), and the smell is so pleasant.

Estoy muy muy contenta con los productos que he podido ir probando de la marca, y os la recomiendo totalmente. Además, me encanta que sea una empresa consciente y, además de ser cruelty-free, la mayor parte de sus productos sean veganos.

I am really happy with the products I've got got from this brand, and I totally recommend it. Also, I love to know that they are a conscious company, and besides being cruelty-free, most of their products are vegan.

Primor | October Haul '14 (mostly vegan!)

¡Feliz martes, chicas! ¿Cómo lleváis la semana vegana? Yo os traigo hoy mis últimas compras a Primor. Todo lo que compré yo es vegano, aunque hay un labial que no (es de mi prima), pero aprovecho para enseñarlo por si alguien quería ver el color.
Lo bueno que tienen marcas como Milani, es que es muy sencillo saber qué productos son veganos o no, ya que ellos mismos los indican en su propia web.

Happy Tuesday, girls! Are you having a nice vegan week?  Today I'm here to show you my latest purchases on Primor.  Everything I bought is vegan, although there is a lipstick that it's not mine (my cousin's) that isn't, but I wanted to swatch it for you in case anyone wanted to see the color. 
The great thing about brands like Milani, is that it is very easy to know which products are vegan and which aren't, as they themselves point it out in their own web.

Tenía unas ganas locas de probar esta marca, ya que había oído hablar muy bien de ella, y es cruelty-free. Los coloretes tienen buenísima fama, así que me hice con dos de ellos.
Este primero es el tono 10 Delizioso Pink, un rosa chicle "mate" precioso (ambos coloretes, a pesar de ser mate, tienen un puntito satinado).

I wanted so bad to try this brand because I had heard very good reviews about it, and is cruelty-free. The blushes have very good reputation, so I bought two of them. 
This first one is 10 Delizioso Pink, a bubblegum pink with a beautiful "mate" finish (both blushes, despite being matte, look a bit satin for me).

También me hice con el tono 11 Bella Rosa, un rojizo rosado intenso, con un acabado "mate" (lo mismo, es ligeramente satinado).
Cada uno tiene un precio de 6'95€ en Primor. Todos los coloretes cocidos de Milani son productos veganos, y vienen con 3'5gr. de producto.

I also bought the shade 11 Bella Rosa, a deep reddish pink, with a "mate" finish (same than the las one, is slightly satin). 
Each one is priced at €6'95 on Primor.  All the baked blushes by Milani are vegan products, and come with 3'5gr. of product.

El siguiente es el único producto no vegano del haul, que es un labial para mi prima, el 17 Plumrose. Es un rosa oscuro con un punto malva de acabado cremoso. Estos labiales tienen un precio de 5'20€ en Primor, y vienen con 3'97gr. de producto.

The next product is the only non-vegan product from this haul, which is a lipstick for my cousin, the 17 Plumrose. It is a dark mauve pink with a creamy finish. These lipsticks are priced at €5'20 on Primor  and come with 3'97gr. of product.

Por último, otro producto vegano: el 12hr Wear Eyeshadow Pencil en el tono Cafe Au Lait. Es como los lápices jumbo de Jordana que tanto amo, exactamente el mismo formato, y tienen colores iguales (son de la misma "marca madre"), pero Milani tiene mucha más variedad de tono. Cafe Au Lait es un tono chocolate con leche de acabado mate. Todavía no he probado este en concreto (me acaba de llegar), pero sabiendo que son iguales que los de Jordana, os los recomiendo encarecidamente. Yo los uso como base para otras sombras, o solos, ya que me aguantan muchísimas horas sin sacar pliegues, y sin necesidad de usar una prebase.
Cada lápiz tiene un precio de 5'99€ en Primor, y viene con 2'8gr. de producto.

Lastly, another vegan product: 12hr Wear Eyeshadow Pencil in the shade Cafe Au Lait. It's like the jumbo pencils by Jordana that I love, exactly the same format and have the same colors (they are by the same "parent company"), but Milani has much more variety of shades. Cafe Au Lait is a milk chocolate shade with matte finish. I haven't tried this one in particular (I just arrived today), but knowing that they are the same as the ones by Jordana, I highly recommend them. I use them as a base for other eyeshadows, or by themselves, and they are super longasting without the need of an eyeshadow primer. 
Each shadow pencil is priced at €5'99 on Primor, and come with 2'8gr. of product.

Chen Yu - Rouge Aqua Crystal

Hoy os traigo el review de unos labiales de Chen Yu que habréis visto previamente en mis favoritos de Julio. Se trata de los Rouge Aqua Crystal, unas barras de labios "efecto mojado 3D" con un corazón hidratante. Están disponibles en 8 tonos, y yo os voy a enseñar dos de ellos.

Today I bring you a review on some Chen Yu lipsticks that you may have seen previously in my July favorites. I'm talking about the Rouge Aqua Crystal, a "3D wet effect" lipstick with a moisturizing heart. They are available in 8 shades, and I'll show you two of them.

Los tonos que veis en la foto son el 106 y el 104. Como todos los productos labiales de la marca, huelen de maravilla.
Como podéis ver, el packaging es transparente, por lo que, aunque no tengamos los labios boca abajo para ver el número, podemos ver el color aunque lleven la tapa puesta.

The lipsticks you see in the picture are the 106 and the 104. Like all brand lip products, they smell great.
As you can see, the packaging is transparent, so that, although we have no lips upside down to see the number, we can see the color even with the lid on.

Su formulación es muy cremosa y cómoda de llevar. El corazón tratante del labial hidrata los labios a la vez que aporta brillo a los mismos. Su duración es muy buena para ser un labial tan hidratante, por lo que para mi han sido un imprescindible durante el verano. ¿Quién no quiere el color intenso y la cobertura de un labial normal, con la hidratación y el brillo de un bálsamo?

Its formulation is very creamy and comfortable to wear. The lipstick treatment heart moisturizes our lips while adding shine to them. Its lasting is very good to be a lipstick so moisturizing, so for me have been a must during the summer. Who does not want the intense color and coverage of a normal lipstick with the hydration and shine of a lip balm?

Sin duda, mi tono preferido, es el 106, un rojo cereza de acabado similar a los Creemsheen de MAC. El 104 es un tono rosado de acabado Frost.

My favorite shade is, definitely, the 106, a cherry red with a similar finish to MAC 's Creemsheen. The 104 is a pink shade with a Frost finish.

Haul Illamasqua - Julio 2013 (Parte I)

¡Por fin empiezan las vacaciones! (al menos para mi...)
Siento muchísimo haber tenido el blog abandonado, pero he querido centrarme en los exámenes, ¡pero ya estoy de vuelta!
Hoy os traigo un pedido conjunto a Illamasqua. La mitad de los productos del haul no son míos, pero su dueña me ha dejado amablemente grabarlos y fotografiarlos para vosotras (subiré vídeos con swatches en movimiento de los mismos al canal de YouTube en unos días). Era un pedido que teníamos planeado desde hace mes y medio, pero no fue hasta el pasado fin de semana cuando por fin pude ponerle las garras  a todo encima. Como quería enseñar fotos comparativas de los productos, he preferido dividir la entrada en dos partes. En ésta primera incluiré los artículos que no pedí yo, y en la siguiente os enseñaré los míos. ¡Espero que os gusten!

I'm finally starting the holidays! 

I feel thrilled to have abandoned the blog, but I wanted to focus on exams without any other "distraction". I'm back now!

Today I bring my haul with a friend to Illamasqua. Half of the products from this haul are not mine, but her owner kindly let me record and photograph them for you (I'll upload videos with moving swatches to the YouTube channel in a few days). It was an order that we planned for a month and a half, but it was not until last weekend when I finally put the claws over our things. I wanted to show you comparison swatches of the products with other "similar" ones, so I prefer to split the haul into two parts. In this first part I will include the items that where not for me, and in a next post I'll show you mines. I hope you like!

Primero empezaré por una preciosa paleta que estuve a punto de comprar también, y me arrepentí enormemente de no hacerlo: se trata de la Complement Palette. He de adelantaros que todavía no tengo fotos de los swatches, puesto que olvidé sacarlas, y la dueña se la llevó ayer a casa, pero le pediré próximamente que la traiga para poder sacar las fotos oportunas y actualizaros la entrada. Mientras tanto podéis ver los swatches de Catanya's Things.
La paleta consta de tres sombras:
- Slink: un champagne suave con shimmer, perfecto para iluminar.
- Focus: una sombra en crema de un color marrón metálico.
- Forgiveness: un tono borgoña mate.
- Queen of the Night: un morado oscuro metalizado.
Las cuatro sombras tienen una pigmentación fantástica, y la paleta tiene un precio de £34.

I will begin first with a beautiful palette that I was about to buy too, and greatly regretted not doing it: it is the Complement Palette. 
I haven't got yet pictures of the swatches of this palette, since I forgot to do them, and the owner took it to her home yesterday, but I will ask her to bring the palette to my home soon to take pictures and show them to you. Meanwhile you can see swatches of Catanya's Things.

The palette has three eyeshadows:

- Slink: a soft champagne shimmer which is perfect for highlighting.

- Focus: a metallic brown cream eyeshadow.

- Forgiveness: a matte burgundy shade.

- Queen of the Night: a dark metallic purple.

The four shadows have great pigmentation, and the palette is priced at £34.

En cuanto a los labiales, yo sólo pedí el ESP (que también podéis ver en la foto). Son todos de una textura tipo cera bastante seca, aunque los colores son preciosos y muy intensos.

Regarding the lipsticks, I only ordered the ESP (which you can also see in the photo). They have all a waxy texture which seems quite dry, although the colors are beautiful and very intense.

La marca tiene una amplia variedad de tonos de lo más originales, y Flare y Over tienen un punto neón que no se aprecia en la foto. En cuanto a la aplicación, los que más uniformes quedan son Magnetism, Flare y Over, mientras que ESP parchea un poco, así que tendré que probar a aplicarlo sobre un lápiz de labios de un color similar o con un gloss encima. Cada uno de ellos tiene un precio de £16.50.

The brand has a wide variety of the most original shades, and Over and Flare look quite neon and bright in person. Regarding the application, the most uniform ones are Magnetism, Flare and Over, while ESP patches a bit, so I'll have to try to apply it over a lip pencil in a similar color or a gloss on top. Each one of this lipsticks is priced at £ 16.50.

Si ponemos el Flare de Illamasqua junto al Morange de Mac se puede apreciar un subtono más amarillento en mismo.

If we put together Illamasqua's Flare and Mac's Morange we would appreciate a more yellow undertone in it.

El labial más similar que he encontrado al Over de Illamasqua es el Peach 07 de Belle. Sin embargo, éste último es más rosado.

The most similar lipstick that I've found to Illamasqua's Over is Belle's Peach 07. However, Peach 07 is more pinkish.

El Magnetism, al colocarlo entre el Rebel y su cuasi-gemelo de H&M, tiene un punto mucho más rosado, y dependiendo de la luz, se ve mucho más rojizo/vino, como pudisteis apreciar en la foto comparativa que subí por Instagram.

Illamasqua's Magnetism, when placed between the Rebel and its near-twin by H&M, looks much pinker, and depending on the lighting, it looks much more red/wine, as you could see in the comparison picture that I uploaded to Instagram.

Aquí tenéis los tres labiales de María en su boca. Como veis, el Over es el que marca más las pielecillas, mientras que el Flare y el Magenta, a pesar de ser también secos, dejan un aspecto más uniforme.

Here you have Maria's lipsticks on her mouth. As you can see, Over looks more waxy than the others, while Flare and Magenta, besides being dry too, look more uniform on the lips.

El único pigmento que se compró fue el Dab. Yo quería hacerme con el Hollow para el contorno, pero en el momento de hacer el pedido estaba fuera de stock. Éstos pigmentos en crema están pensados para su uso en ojos, labios, cara y cuerpo, y tienen un precio de £17.50.
Al ser un producto en crema no quise "meter el dedazo" estando sin estrenar, pero luego lo probé con su dueña y el color queda exactamente tal y como se ve en la foto.

The only pigment that was purchased on this haul was Dab. I wanted to get my hands on Hollow for contouring, but at the time that we order it was out of stock. These cream pigments are designed to use on eyes, lips, face and body, and are priced at £17.50.
Being a cream product I did not wanted to "put my fingerprints" being new, but then I tried it with its owner, and the color is exactly what you in the picture.

El último producto de ésta entrada es el dúo de coloretes Katie/Ambition. Es un dúo perfecto para las amantes de los tonos rosados, y ambos quedan muy bonitos aplicados sobre la piel. Eso sí, Katie es un tono bastante pálido, por lo que no sé cómo quedará sobre una tez bronceada.
Hay otros dos dúos disponibles, y tienen un precio de £26.

The latest product of this entry is the powder blush duo in Katie/Ambition. It is a perfect duet for those who love pink blushes, and both look very nice applied to the skin. Yes, Katie is a pretty pale shade, so I do not know how it will look on a tanned complexion.
There are two other duos available, and are priced at £26.

La duración de los coloretes, por lo poco que he podido probar, es magnífica: sólo llevé uno de los míos un día, pero me aguantó las 9 horas que estuve maquillada intacto. Si bien el packaging es un poco abultado, y se puede hacer más incómodo que un colorete de Nars o Sleek, me parece que merecen mucho la pena.

The lasting of the blushes, from what I could try, is superb: I just wore one of mine one day, but it lasted the nine hours I had makeup on intact. While the packaging is a bit bulky, and can be more uncomfortable than Nars or Sleek, I think the blushes really deserve it.
