Haul 88 Colores - Marzo '14

¡Feliz lunes, chicas!
Hoy vengo a enseñaros unas compras a la web 88 Colores de hace unas semanas, ya que pusieron envío gratis para pedidos superiores a 15€, y aproveché con Vero para hacer un pedido.
En la web tienen muchísimas marcas, entre ellas algunas que hasta ahora no se encontraban fácilmente en España como Lime Crime, Jordana, BH Cosmetics, LA Colors o Milani.
En el haul no entraré en demasiado detalle con los productos, pero si queréis review de alguno en concreto, no tenéis más que pedirlo.

Today I come to show you my last haul on 88 Colores website from a few weeks ago, because they were offering free shipping, and Vero and I placed an order. 

In this website they have many brands, including some that are not easily found in Spain as Lime Crime, Jordana, BH Cosmetics, LA Colors or Milani. 

In this haul I will not go into too much detail with the products, but if you want me to review any of them,you just have to ask.

Lo primero con lo que caí fueron las sombras en formato lápiz jumbo de la marca Jordana, y ahora me arrepiento de no haber cogido más. Cogí los tonos 03 Tenacious Brown y 04 Continuous Almond. Ambos son tonos mate, son cremosos, se difuminan con el dedo a la perfección, y una vez se fijan, duran intactos todo el día, además de ser resistentes al agua. ¿Alguien da más?
Yo estoy encantadísima, y aunque el precio sea "elevado" respecto a lo que cuestan en EEUU, siguen siendo más baratos que los Long Lasting de Kiko, y viene más cantidad de producto: cuestan 4'75€, y traen 2.8 gramos. ¿La pega? Hay que sacarles punta, pero los recomiendo al 100%.

The first thing I bought were the eyeshadows pencil jumbos by the brand Jordana  and now I regret not buying more of them. 
I bought 03 Tenacious Brown and 04 Continuous Almond  Both are matte shades, creamy, fade perfectly with the finger, and once set, they last intact throughout the day, as well as being waterproof. Could they be better?
I am enchanted, and although the price is "high" relative to what they cost in the U.S., they are still cheaper than Kiko's Long Lasting, and they have more grams: they cost €4'75, and bring 2.8 grams. The downside? You have to sharpen them, but I recommend them a 100%.

Vero pidió un esmalte de uñas de la marca Kleancolor, que supuestamente huele a menta una vez aplicado. El tono es el Wave of Peppermint, aunque no tiene nada que ver la foto oficial con el tono real. Este tiene un precio de 2'95€, y podéis encontrar un montón de tonos y acabados distintos en la misma marca, a muy buen precio.

Vero ordered a nail polish from the brand Kleancolor  which supposedly smells like mint when applied. The shade is Wave of Peppermint  although the color of the official picture has nothing to do with the actual shade. This is priced at €2'95, and you can find plenty of shades and finishes in the same brand at a great price.

También se pidió un gloss de Lime Crime, ya que la marca está genial de precio en la web (prácticamente el mismo que en la web oficial, pero con un envío más barato y ahorrándonos las posibles aduanas).
En concreto, pidió el tono Candy Apple, un rojo con shimmer precioso, y opaco. Lo tienen rebajado a sólo 12'75€, y yo no descarto hacerme con algo de la marca, que tengo la espinita clavada desde hace tiempo.

She also ordered a Lime Crime lip gloss, since the brand has a great price on the website (about the same price from the official website, but with a cheaper shipping, and saving us the possible customs). 
Specifically, she picked the shade Candy Apple, a red with beautiful shimmer, and opaque. They have just lowered the price to €12'75, and may try something from the brand in the future, as I've been wanting to try it for so long.

Por último, nos pedimos un par de correctores de la marca L.A. Girl de los que habíamos oído hablar muy bien, yo en el tono Classic Ivory, y ella en el tono Creamy Beige. El tono más claro a mi me queda algo oscuro, así que supongo que me tocará esperar a verano para usarlo. El packaging no me gusta nada, ya que hay que apretar mucho para que salga el producto, y el tipo de aplicador que tiene no es de los que más me gustan (los prefiero "tipo gloss"). El producto en sí no lo he probado mucho, porque me queda oscuro ahora mismo, pero si funciona tan bien como he oído, de precio está genial: cuesta sólo 3'50€, por 8 gramos de producto.

Finally, we ordered a couple of concealers by the brand L.A. Girl which had very nice reviews, in the shades Classic Ivory (for me) and Creamy Beige  (for her). The lighter shade is a tad dark for me, so I guess I will have to wait until summer to use it. I really don't like the packaging because you have to push really hard to use the product, and the type of applicator it has is not like the ones I like (I prefer a "gloss type"). I have not tried much the product itself , as for me is dark right now, but if it works as well as I have heard, the price is great: it costs only €3,50 for 8 grams of product.

En la web trabajan como un catálogo, por lo que el pedido tarda en enviarse entre 7 y 15 días, así que hay que tener paciencia. A mi tardaron 11 días en enviármelo. El precio del envío creo que depende del peso (como os he dicho, yo pillé la promo de g.e. gratis), y tienen tres opciones disponibles: ordinario, con firma (certificado en pedidos superiores a 8€), o por ASM.

On the website they work as a catalog, and the order takes to be sent between 7 and 15 days, so you have to be patient. Mine took 11 days for being sent. Shipping price depends on the weight I think (as I said, when I ordered they have a free shipping promo), and they have three options available: standard, signed (certified on orders over €8), or by ASM.

Cruelty Free Tag - TOP 5

Hoy traigo un post muy especial para mi, el "Cruelty Free Tag - TOP 5", ya que es un TAG que creamos entre algunas bloggers para promocionar los productos cruelty-free. Como sabéis, yo soy una gran amante de los animales, y creo que es nuestro deber NO apoyar económicamente a empresas crueles con nuestros amigos peludos. Hoy el día hay muchísimas alternativas libres de crueldad en el mercado, y yo os invito nuevamente a dejar de lado a aquellas empresas a las que les importa más el dinero que la ética.
Este post NO es ninguna colaboración con ninguna tienda o marca, y cada una de nosotras hemos elegido los productos que queríamos recomendar según nuestra propia experiencia con los mismos.

As you know, I'm a big animal lover, and I think it is our duty is to NOT support financially companies that are cruel with our furry friends. Nowadays, we have many cruelty-free alternatives on the market, and again, I invite you to set aside those companies that care more about money than ethics. 

This post is NOT any collaboration with any store or brand, and each of us have chosen the products we want to recommend you from our own experience with them.

El TAG consiste en presentaros cada una de nosotras 5 de nuestros productos cruelty-free favoritos. Ya que mi blog está dedicado al apoyo de éste tipo de productos, no quería repetirme, y decidí enseñar 5 productos de los que no he subido review al blog. Además, he querido hacer una mezcla entre maquillaje, y productos de cuidado facial. ¡Espero que os gusten!

The TAG consists in showing each one of us 5 of our favorite cruelty-free products. Since my blog is dedicated to the support of this kind of products, I did not want to repeat myself, and decided to show you 5 products that I have not reviewed on the blog yet. Also, I wanted to do a mix of makeup and skincare products. Hope you like it!

El primer favorito es el jabón African Black Soap de Nubian Heritage. No podía dejar de mencionarlo, ya que pienso que es uno de los mejores jabones "contra el acné" que he probado (y han sido muchos). A mi hermana y a mi nos va muy bien, y huele vicio, aunque aviso que sí es de los que dejan la piel algo tirante.
De precio está genial, cuesta 3'47$ en iHerb (link directo AQUÍ), y contiene 141 gr. de producto.

My first favorite is the African Black Soap by Nubian Heritage. I could not help to mention it, because I think that is one of the best "anti-blemish" soaps that I've tried (and I have tried a lot of them). It works great for my sister and I, and its smells so nice, but I should say that it is the kind of soap that that leaves a tight feeling on the skin. 
The price is great, it costs $3.47 at iHerb (direct link HERE) and contains 141 gr. of product.

El siguiente producto es el colorete Hussy de Illamasqua. Se trata de un rosa cálido con un punto neón, una especie de "rosa sandía" podríamos decir. Da muchísima vida al rostro, y creo que es perfecto para primavera/verano. Se trabaja fácilmente, aunque es muy pigmentado. La foto de la web no se parece en nada a la del producto real, así que espero que la mía os sea de más ayuda (tenéis swatches pinchando aquí).

El colorete tiene un precio de £21.50 (algo menos de 26€), y contiene 4.5 gr. de producto (link directo AQUÍ).

The next product is Illamasqua's Hussy blush. It is a very bright 'neonish' warm pink, a "watermelon pink" might say. It looks so healthy on the skin, and I think is perfect for spring/summer. It is easy to blend, although it is very pigmented. The picture on their website does not look anything like the actual product, so hopefully mine will be of more helpful (you can see swatches by clicking here). 
The blush is priced at £21.50 (just under 26€) and contains 4.5 gr. of product (direct link HERE).

Si me seguís en Instagram, habréis visto este producto hasta la saciedad: la prebase de sombras de Neve Cosmetics. Se trata de una prebase vegana potenciadora del color, totalmente transparente. Evita que salgan pliegues durante horas (unas 7h. en mis párpados grasos).

Contiene 20ml de producto, y la podéis encontrar en Mimmakeup a un precio de 7'90€ (con el código shirayukis tendréis un 5% de descuento, y el envío es gratis) (link directo AQUÍ).

If you follow me on Instagram, I am sure that you have seen this product over and over again on my looks: the eyeshadow primer by Neve Cosmetics. This is a color enhancer vegan primer, totally transparent. It prevents eyeshadows from creasing for hours (about 7h. on my oily eyelids). 
It contains 20ml of product, and you can find it at Mimmakeup priced at €7'90 (with the code shirayukis you will get a 5% discount, and shipping is free to Spain) (direct link HERE).

Mi "hidratante estrella" es la Crema Facial Hidratante-Equilibrante para pieles grasas con impurezas de Miraur. Sin duda, es la mejor crema hidratante que he encontrado para mi piel (mixta/grasa deshidratada con tendencia acnéica). Es mucho más untuosa que las que solía utilizar indicadas para mi tipo de piel, pero sin embargo se absorbe genial, y no me saca brillos (porque no debemos olvidar que la piel grasa también necesita hidratación). 

La única pega que le veo es el precio, ya que es algo cara. Tiene un precio de 27€ por 50ml de producto, aunque por lo menos, en su web, los gastos de envío son gratis (link directo AQUÍ).

My best moisturizer is the Balancing-Hydrating Face Cream for oily skin with blemishes by Miraur. Without a doubt, I could say that it is the best moisturizer I've tried for my skin (dehydrated combination/oily acne-prone skin). It is much more thick than other moisturizers suitable for my skin type, but yet it absorbs great, and doesn't make me look oily (because we must not forget that oily skin also needs hydration). 
The only downside I see is the price, as it is quite pricey. It costs €27 for 50ml of product, but at least, on its website, the shipping is free (direct link HERE).

Por último, os enseño mi base de maquillaje mineral preferida, de la marca Lily Lolo. La cobertura es media y modulable. Cuando quiero más cobertura desde un principio, aplico como "prebase" una capa ligera del corrector mineral de la misma marca, y luego la base sobre el mismo, aunque la mayor parte de las veces la utilizo sola. 

Contiene 10gr. de producto, y tiene un precio de 15'75€. La podéis comprar en Ecco-Verde (con el código ECCOSHIRA os harán un 5% de descuento) (link directo AQUÍ).

Finally, I show you my favorite mineral foundation by the brand Lily Lolo. The coverage is medium and buildable. When I want more coverage from the beginning, I apply a light coat of the mineral concealer from the same brand as a base, and then use the foundation over it, although most of the time I use the foundation alone.

Boho Cosmetics - Blush and Eyeliner

Hoy vengo a hablaros de una marca francesa que ha sido todo un descubrimiento para mi: Boho Cosmetics. Varias bloggers enseñaron algunos de sus productos, ya que venían con las Essentia Box, pero la pega es que los productos que hoy enseño no se venden en España (sólo online). Aun así, probé un par de ellos, y hoy vengo a contaros mi opinión.

Today I come to speak about a French brand that has been a revelation to me: Boho Cosmetics  Several bloggers showed some of their products, since they came with a Essentia Box, but the downside is that the products are not sold in physical stores in Spain (they are just available online). Still, I tried a couple of them, and today I come to tell you my opinion.

Lo primero es el colorete Bois de Rose (Rosewood). Se trata de un producto con un 99% de ingredientes de origen natural, y un 10% de origen ecológico. El packaging es de cartón, y es muy ligero, aunque la tapa protege bien el producto. Pigmenta muy bien. Mi única pega es que el tono me sienta FATAL. Yo había leído que era un tono rojizo, pero, como veis, en mi piel es muy marrón, y no me favorece en absoluto. Personalmente, lo recomendaría para pieles más oscuras que la mía.
Contiene 4'5gr. de producto, y tiene un precio de 11'70€.

The first is the Bois de Rose (Rosewood) blush. It is a product with 99% ingredients of natural origin, and 10% of organic origin. The packaging is made ​​of cardboard and is very light, while the cover protects the product nicely. Its pigmentation is great. The only downside is that the shade is not great for me. I had read that it was a reddish shade, but, as you cam see, on my skin it looks brownish, and it does not look good at all. Personally, I would recommend this shade for darker skintones than mine.
Contains 4'5gr. product, and is priced at €11'70.

El siguiente es el producto que me tiene completamente enamorada: el Green Liner. En este caso, el 99% de los ingredientes son de origen natural, y el 20% de los mismos son de origen ecológico.

The following product is the one that I absolutely love: the Green Liner. In this case, 99% of the ingredients are of natural origin, and 20% of them are from organic origin.

El mío es el tono 01, un negro muy intenso, que deja un acabado mate, y está disponible en otros dos tonos (marrón y azul) . La punta es de fieltro, que son mis preferidas. Me dura todo el día intacto, y puedo usarlo tambiéna ras de las pestañas inferiores, aunque no es waterproof. Además, es muy fácil de desmaquillar, ya que tengo otros eyeliners líquidos que duran todo el día, pero que, sin embargo, me cuesta desmaquillar. Para mi es el "producto estrella", y me encantaría que lo vendiesen en España, ya que se convertiría sin duda en un fijo de mi neceser.
Contiene 3ml de producto, y tiene un precio de 10'90€. 

Mine is the shade 01, a very intense black, that has a matte finish and is available in two other shades (brown and blue). It has a felt tip, which are my favorites. It lasts all day intact, and I can also use it on the lower lashline, although it is not waterproof. It is also very easy to remove with makeup remover, since I have other liquid eyeliners that last all day, but, however, I find them hard to remove. For me it is the best that I've tried from this brand, and my favorite eyeliner,  so I would love to have it in Spain, as it would become definitely a must producto on my vanity.
Contains 3ml of product, and is priced at €10'90.

Haul La Saponaria - Marzo '14

¡Feliz viernes, chicas!
Hoy vengo a enseñaros unas cosillas de la marca La Saponaria, que, como sabéis, hace poquito abrieron web española. Os pregunté por Instagram si preferíais ver sólo reviews, o reviews y haul, y elegisteis esto último, así que aquí me tenéis para enseñaros las cosillas que he empezado a probar. ¡Espero que os gusten!

Today I come to show you a few things by the italian brand La Saponaria, which, as you know, just recently opened a spanish website. I asked you on Instagram if you would prefer to see only reviews or reviews and a haul, and you choose the latter, so here I am to showyou the little things that I have begun testing.Hope you like!

Lo primero es el Kit Basic Insect, con el que nos dan los ingredientes para fabricar nosotros mismos un desodorante a la menta, un dentífrico con arcilla, y una bomba desodorante de baño para pies. Me encanta, pero la única pega que le encuentro es que en la web no decía nada, pero en el díptico del set indica que los productos, al no llevar conservantes, sólo duran fuera de la nevera unos días, y que en la web disponen de conservantes naturales para añadir, pero creo que es algo muy importante que deberían indicar en la web, ya que sino tendremos el kit, pero no conservantes, y nadie quiere fabricar un desodorante que se estropee a los días...
El kit de autoproducción tiene un precio de 24'90€.

The first thing is the Basic Insect Kit, which includes ingredients to make ourselves a mint deodorant, clay toothpaste, and a foot bath pump deodorant. I love it, but the only drawback I find is that the website does not say anything, but in the diptych of the set indicates that the products, as it has no preservatives, only last out of the fridge a few days, and on the website they sell natural preservatives to add, but I think it is very important that they should advertise it on the web, otherwise we will have the kit, but no preservatives, and no one wants to make a deodorant that will screw up on a few days ... 
The self-production kit is priced at €24'90.

Lo siguiente es el desodorante BioDeo con Timo y Aloe. Es en formato spray, y huele fresco y agradable. Por ahora sólo lo he usado un par de veces, pero me está gustando mucho, y no contiene sales de aluminio, alumbre de potasio ni alcohol.
Tiene un precio de 5'90€.

The next thing is the BioDeo deodorant with Timo and Aloe. It's in a spray format, and smells fresh and clean. I've only used it a couple of times, but I'm enjoying it a lot, and it does not contain aluminum salts, potassium alum or alcohol. 
It costs €5'90.

Por último está el mini kit de cosméticos responsables. Es un kit con 7 muestras de la marca,  y tiene un precio de 5€.

Finally there is the ethical cosmetics mini kit. It is a kit with 7 samples of the brand, and has a price of €5.

Lo primero son dos mini botecitos de muestra de su hidratante corporal de aceites de argán y oliva, y su hidratante facial de aloe y argán. La hidratante corporal en su formato original contiene 200ml de producto, y tiene un precio de 19'90€; la hidratante facial contiene 50ml, y tiene un precio de 17'90€.

The first are two mini samples of their argan and olive oil body moisturizer, and an aloe and argan facial moisturizer. The body moisturizer in its original size contains 200ml of product and is priced at €19'90; the facial moisturizer contains 50ml and is priced at €17'90.

Luego tenemos un botecito de 30ml de su jabón íntimo de bardana y caléndula, con PH 4.5. El formato original de 250ml tiene un precio de 7'90€.

Then we have a small bottle of 30ml of its intimate burdock and calendula soap with PH 4.5. The original size of it has 250ml is priced at €7'90.

El otro bote es una muestra de 30ml de su champú virgen extra, que en el formato original de 200ml tiene un precio de 8'90€.

The other bottle is a 30ml sample of its extra virgin shampoo, which in the original format of 200ml is priced at €8'90.

Por último, en el mini kit de muestras, encontramos tres jaboncitos de 15gr. cada uno. En mi caso, han venido una muestra del jabón de rosas y karité,  otra del jabón mediterráneo con aloe, y otra del jabón de amapola y ciprés. Cada uno de ellos, en el formato original de 100gr., tiene un precio de 3'90€.

Finally, on the mini samples kit, we found three little soaps of 15gr. each. In my case, they have been samples of the roses and shea butter soap, a Mediterranean soap with aloe,and a poppy and cypress soap. Each one of them, in the original format of 100gr., Is priced at €3'90.

Lo que me encanta de la web es que indican todos los ingredientes en cada uno de los productos, y el primer contacto ha sido genial.
Los gastos de envío para pedidos inferiores a 40€ son 6€+IVA, y en los superiores es gratis hasta el 30 de Mayo. El envío tarda 24/48 horas.

What I really love about the website is that they have lists of all the ingredients in each product, and the first contact has been great. 
Shipping costs for orders below €40 (to Spain) are 6€+VAT, and over that the shipping is free until May 30rd.

The Balm - Cindy Lou Manizer

Hoy os traigo el review sobre uno de los últimos lanzamientos de The Balm: el Cindy-Lou Manizer.

Today I bring you a review on one of the latest releases by The Balm: Cindy-Lou Manizer.

Como podéis ver, el packaging es del mismo tipo que sus "primos", el Mary-Lou Manizer y el Betty-Lou Manizer (review aquí), y trae la misma cantidad: 8'5 gramos de producto.

As you can see, the packaging looks the same as the Mary-Lou Manizer and Betty-Lou Manizer (review here), and has the same amount: 8.5 grams of product.

Se trata de un iluminador que recuerda mucho al Mary-Lou de la misma marca, sólo que en un tono distinto: el tono del Cindy-Lou es un rosado melocotón.

It is a highlighter very similar to the Mary-Lou by the same brand, just in a different shade: the shade of the Cindy-Lou is a pinky peach.

Como podéis ver, el Mary-Lou es mucho más dorado. Además, el envase ha cambiado ligeramente: podéis ver que el godet ahora no está "hundido",  el espejo es más grande, y, aunque no sea visible en la foto, ahora es más fino.

As you can see, the Mary-Lou is much more yellow. In addition, the packaging has changed slightly: you can see that the godet now is not "sunk", the mirror is larger, and, although it is not visible in the photo, is now thinner.

Aquí podéis ver los tonos de ambos. Los dos son productos muy pigmentados, pero el Cindy-Lou resulta más polvoriento.

Here you can see the shades of both of them. The two products are very pigmented, but the Cindy-Lou is more dusty.

La diferencia es evidente. El Cindy-Lou puede utilizarse como colorete en pieles claras, pero he de advertir que remarca mucho los poros (como cualquier producto "iluminador" en esa zona).
Para mi, como mejor funciona el Cindy-Lou en pieles claras es aplicado sobre otros coloretes, para darles un halo de luz.

The difference is obvious. The Cindy-Lou can be used as blush on fair skin, but I must warn that it remarks the pores so much (as any "highlighting" product in that area). 

For me, the better way to use the Cindy-Lou on fair skin is applied over other blushes to give them a halo of light.
