Jewel Candle, que seguro que muchas ya conocéis. En este post os hablaré de las
dos velas que me mandaron, y os dejaré al final un

Today I come to speak about the Jewel Candle, although I'm sure that many of you know about them. In this post I will talk about the two candles that they kindly sent me, and I'll leave a national giveaway (Spain) at the end. Hope you like it!
Como podéis ver, las velas llegaron muy bien embaladas. La pequeña venía en una caja completamente cerrada, y la grande en un cartón rectangular.
Tardaron 5 días, aunque desde que empezó Septiembre, tardan 3 días en llegar.
As you can see, the candles came very well packaged. The small one came in a completely closed box, and the largest in a rectangular carton.
They took five days to arrive, but since this September, it takes 3 days to arrive.
Para las que no las conozcáis (o no hayáis visto el vídeo), las
Jewel Candle son unas
velas aromáticas que en su interior
contienen una joya, la cuál podremos coger conforme se vaya quemando la vela. La joya de su interior está
valorada entre 10 y 250€, y podemos elegir si queremos
anillo, pendientes o colgante. El precio de las velas dependerá de su tamaño.
La de la izquierda es una
Classic Edition con anillo, y tiene un precio de
29'95€, y una duración de combustión de
120 horas.
La de la derecha es una
Limited Edition con anillo, y tiene un precio de
22'95€. La duración de combustión de ésta es de
80 horas.
For those who may not know them (or those who have not seen the video yet), the Jewel Candle are fragrant candles which contain a jewel inside of them, which we would find as we are burning the candle. The jewel inside of them are valued between 10 and 250€, and we can choose whether we want a ring, a pair of earrings or a pendant. The price of the candles depends of their size.
The one on the left is a Classic Edition with a ring, and is priced at €29'95, and has a burning time of 120 hours.
The one on the right is a Limited Edition with a ring, and is priced at €22'95. The duration of combustion of this one is 80 hours.
La Classic Edition la escogí en Cookies&Cream, que huele a galletas recién horneadas. De las dos que tengo, esta es sin duda mi preferida. Como podéis ver en la foto, las Classic Edition vienen en un tarro de cristal.
The Classic Edition I chose was the Cookies&Cream, which smells like freshly baked cookies. Of the two that I have, this is definitely my favorite. As you can see in the picture, the Classic Edition comes in a glass jar.
En ésta se podía ver claramente a qué altura estaba la joya, ya que por detrás veíamos el papel que protegía la misma contra el cristal.
In this one we could clearly see were was the jewel, as we can saw behind the package that protected it against the glass.
Estuve quemándola cuatro horas, y, aun así, ni me había acercado a la joya, pero como soy impaciente, clavé las pinzas en la cera caliente para sacarla (podéis verlo en el vídeo). Este es el primer anillo que me tocó:
I was burning this one for four hours, and yet, I couldn't "see" the jewel, but since I'm impatient, I stuck some tweezers in the hot wax to pick it (you can see it in the video). This is the first ring that I got:
La segunda vela es la Happy Birthday, que huele a magdalenas de caramelo. La vela me parece una preciosidad, aunque el olor me empalaga un poco para los días de calor. Sin embargo, a mi hermana le gusta mucho más ésta que la anterior.
The second candle is the Happy Birthday, which smells like caramel cupcakes. The candle looks gorgeous, but I find the smell a bit too sweet for the summer months. However, my sister liked it much more than the Cookies&Cream one.
Aunque al principio pensé que la joya no saldría hasta el final de la vela (por la posición en la que estaba la pegatina en el plástico que la cubría), tardó mucho menos en salir que en la vela anterior.
Ambos anillos son de plata, aunque, a diferencia de lo que he visto en los posts de algunas extranjeras, en las Jewel Candle de España no aparece el valor de la joya en la etiqueta.
Although at first I thought that the jewel would be at the very end of the candle (because of the position in which the sticker on the plastic that covered it was), it appeared much faster than the one in the previous candle.
Both rings are in silver, but, unlike what I've seen in pictures from other countries, in the Jewel Candles from Spain they don't note the value of the jewel in the tag.

Me gustan especialmente estas velas para hacer un regalo porque que me parecen un regalo original y "doble", ya que además de regalar una vela aromática muy buena, viene con una joya incluída. Personalmente, me gustaría que pudiesen ser más personalizables, por ejemplo: agrupando distintos estilos de joyas, y dejándote escoger el estilo que más se adecua a tu personalidad (para que no te toque una joya que no te guste o no te "pegue", y sea una que realmente sepas que te va a gustar), y dejándote escoger la talla en el caso de los anillos.
I especially like these candles to buy as a gift because they are an original (and "double"!) gift, because as well as giving a good scented candle, ir comes with a jewel on it.
Personally, I wish they could be more customizable, for example, gathering different styles of jewelry, and letting you choose the style that fits your personality (so you do not get a jewel you do not like), and letting you choose the size in the case of rings, so it fits you 100% sure.
