Hoy vengo a enseñaros el "haul" de la nueva colección Butterfly Valley de Nabla Cosmetics.
Todos los productos de esta colección son veganos.

Today I come to show you the "haul" of the new collection by Nabla Cosmetics: Butterfly Valley.
All the products in this collection are suitable for vegans.

Las sombras contienen 2'5 gr. de producto, y los labiales, a pesar de parecer pequeños, traen 4'2gr. de producto (en MAC vienen 3gr.). 

The eyeshadows contain 2.5 gr of product, and the lipstick, although they seem small, have 4'2gr. of product (MAC lipsticks have 3g. of product per lipstick).

Empezaré enseñando las sombras, que se pueden usar tanto en seco como en mojado.
La primera es Wild Side, un marrón medio de acabado mate precioso. Es un tono muy básico que me encanta para diario. La sombra Narciso de la marca es más clara y más rosada.

I will start showing you the eyeshadows, which can be used dry or wet.
The first one is Wild Side, a medium brown with a lovely matte finish. It is a very basic shade that I love for everyday looks. Narciso, by the same brand, is paler and pinker.

Unrestricted es una sombra muy especial. Se trata de una sombra duocromática con base ciruela/burdeos y muchísimos destellos dorados. Me parece una sombra perfecta para looks de noche, y la pigmentación es buenísima. Aquí se ve más marrón, pero en la foto del final podréis ver que una vez aplicada sobre la piel se aprecia mucho más el tono rojizo.

Unrestricted is a very special shade. It is a duochrome shade with a plum/burgundy base and lots of golden glitter. I looks like a perfect shade for evening looks, and the pigmentation is awesome. Here it looks more brown, but at the end of this post you have the swatches on my arm, and you can see that once applied to the skin its reddish tone is much appreciated.

Peach Velvet es un naranja melocotón pastel precioso de acabado mate. Me recuerda un poco a la famosísima Peach Smoothie de Makeup Geek que todo el mundo adora para transiciones, aunque Peach Velvet parece más clara (no tengo la de MUG para comparar).

Peach Velvet is a beautiful pastel peach with a matte finish. It reminds me to the famous Peach Smoothie eyeshadow by Makeup Geek that everyone loves to use as a transition shade, although Peach Velvet seems paler (I do not have the MUG one to compare).

Moonrise es un gris plomo con un toque violáceo, y con shimmer. Como todas las sombras, tiene una pigmentación muy buena.

Moonrise is a lead-gray with a violet touch, and shimmer. Like all the eyeshadows, it has a very good pigmentation.

Lilac Wonder es un púrpura claro con reflejo azul, morado, lila y blanquecino. Es una sombra muy luminosa. 

Lilac Wonder is a light purple with blue, purple, lilac and white shimmer. It is a very luminous shade.

Por último está Pegasus, una sombra duocromo de color lavanda pastel con un intenso reflejo en champagne. Me parece una sombra súper especial, y es de mis preferidas de la colección.

Finally I have Pegasus, a duochrome pastel lavender shade with a strong reflection in champagne. I think it is a super special shade and is my favorite of this collection.

En cuanto a los labiales, en esta colección sacaron dos nuevos Diva Crime: Balkis y Beverly.
Balkis es un tono muy de los 90, un rosa amarronado precioso.
Beverly es un tono frambuesa.
Me encanta la formulación de estos labiales. Os enseñé algunos más en el anterior post que dediqué a la marca. 

Regarding the lipsticks, in this collection they brought out two new Diva Crime: Balkis and Beverly.
Balkis is a very 90s shade, a beautiful brownish pink.
Beverly is a raspberry shade.
I love the formulation of these lipsticks. I showed you some more in the previous post I dedicated to the brand.

Aquí podéis ver swatches de los mismos. Son muy pigmentados (cobertura total en una pasada), y huelen muy bien.

Here you can see swatches of them. They are highly pigmented (total coverage in one swipe), and the smell is so pleasant.

Estoy muy muy contenta con los productos que he podido ir probando de la marca, y os la recomiendo totalmente. Además, me encanta que sea una empresa consciente y, además de ser cruelty-free, la mayor parte de sus productos sean veganos.

I am really happy with the products I've got got from this brand, and I totally recommend it. Also, I love to know that they are a conscious company, and besides being cruelty-free, most of their products are vegan.

Benecos | Vegan Makeup

Hoy vengo a daros mi opinión sobre algunos de los productos veganos de maquillaje de la marca de cosmética natural Benecos que llevo un par de meses probando.

Today I am here to tell you my opinion about some of the vegan makeup products by the natural cosmetic brand Benecos that I've been testing for the past couple of months.

Empezaré por la base de maquillaje, aunque por desgracia no he podido usarla en condiciones. Tenía que mezclarla con una base blanca para conseguir mi tono, ya que el tono más claro me queda oscuro. Contiene 30ml de producto, y tiene un precio de 9'78€.

I'll start with the foundation, which unfortunately I could not try as I would like to. I had to mix it with a white foundation to make it look good on me, because the lightest shade was too dark to me. It cointains 30ml of product, and is priced at 9'78€.

Aquí podéis ver que el tono "NUDE" es bastante más oscuro que mi piel, y es el más claro que venden. La base sólo está disponible en 3 tonos (Nude, Honey y Caramel). Como referencia, mi tono es un NC10 en MAC, o un Siberia en NARS.
El aroma del producto es agradable, pero es una base algo difícil de trabajar, ya que con los dedos no se extiende bien. Os recomiendo trabajarla con una esponja tipo Beauty Blender. La cobertura es buena, como podéis apreciar en la foto, y una vez seco deja un acabado mate, y no transfiere. No la recomendaría para pieles secas, ya que a pesar de venderse como una base "cremosa", se adhiere muy fácilmente a la sequedad de la piel, dejando un efecto poco natural. 

Here you can see that the shade "NUDE" is much darker than my skin, and this one was the lightest shade for this foundation. The foundation is only available in 3 shades (Nude, Honey and Caramel). For reference, my shade is a NC10 in MAC, or Siberia in NARS.
The scent of the product is nice, but it a foundation a bit difficult to blend with our fingers. I recommend you work it with a makeup sponge like the Beauty Blender. The coverage is good, as you can see in the picture, and once dry it leaves a matte finish, and it doesn't transfer. I would not recommend for dry skin, because despite being sold as a "creamy" base, it adheres to the dry skin very easily, leaving an unnatural patchy apprearence.

Lo siguiente es el quad "Beautiful Eyes 001". Consta de cuatro sombras: una rosadita satinada con reflejo violeta, una marrón con destellos en dorado y reflejo algo rojizo, una rosa amoratado con brillitos en plateado, y una sombra color perla con bastante brillo. Viene con un total de 4'8gr. de producto, y tiene un precio de 8'94€.

The next product is the quad "Beautiful Eyes 001". It consists of four shades: a satin pink with violet reflect, a warm brown with tiny gold shimmer and red reflex, a purplish pink with small glitter in silver, and a shiny pearl color. It comes with a total of 4'8gr. of product, and is priced at 8'94€.

Aquí se pueden ver los swatches sin ningún tipo de primer. La verdad es que con primer y/o en mojado ganan muchísimo respecto a los swatches sin primer. Los colores se pierden mucho al difuminarlos sin primer, por eso tengo una relación de amor-odio con esta paleta. El tono marrón me parece una preciosidad, pero para sacarle toda la intensidad que quiero, tengo que trabajar la sombra en mojado, o al difuminarla pierdo todo el color. 

Here you can see the swatches without any kind of primer. 
The truth is that using them over a primer or wet, they look much better than in the picture. The colors tend to disappear when we blend them, so I have a love-hate relationship with this palette. The brown shade is gorgeous, but to get all the intensity I want, I have to work the eyeshadow wet, or the color wouldn't look nice.

El primer "Natural Eyeshadow Base" me ha sorprendido gratamente. La verdad es que no esperaba mucho de un primer de ojos "natural", pero aguanta sus 7.30-8h. antes de empezar a sacarme pliegues, así que para diario me funciona genial. Contiene 5ml de producto, y tiene un precio de 5'44€.

I was pleasantly surprised with their "Natural Eyeshadow Base". The truth is I did not expect much of "natural" primer, but it holds my eyeshadows 7.30-8h. before they start creasing on me, so for this works great for an everyday basis. It contains 5ml of product, and is priced at 5'44€.

La pega es que no es transparente ni color piel, sino que deja un reflejillo dorado por todo el párpado, que habrá a quien le guste, pero yo prefiero trabajar sobre una base color piel (en la foto podéis apreciar el reflejo en el swatch de la izquierda que es donde he aplicado el primer). Igualmente, se soluciona fácilmente aplicando una sombra color piel por donde hayamos aplicado el primer.

The downside is that it is not transparent or skin-like, but leaves golden reflex across the eyelid, who maybe some people would like, but I prefer to work on a skin-colored base (on the picture you can see the reflection in the swatch of the left, which is where I applied the primer). This can easily be solved by applying a skin colored eyeshadow over the primer.

El lápiz de ojos Natural Kajal está especialmente indicado para ojos sensibles. Contiene aceite de jojoba y vitamina E. En el párpado superior funciona genial, y el tono es un negro intenso, pero al no ser waterproof, en la línea del agua no aguanta mucho, a menos que sellemos la zona con sombra negra. Se puede difuminar bien para conseguir un efecto ahumado. Contiene 1'13gr. de producto, y tiene un precio de 4'09€.

The Natural Kajal eyeliner is especially suitable for sensitive eyes. It contains jojoba oil and vitamin E. In the upper eyelid it works great, and the shade is a deep black, but it is not waterproof, so it doesn't hold as well on the waterline unless we seal the area with black shadow. It can be blended for a smoky effect. It contains 1'13gr. of product, and has a price at 4'09€.

iHerb | October Haul '14 (mostly vegan!)

Hoy os traigo mis últimas compras en iHerb. Pido perdón por las fotos, ya que tuve problemas con la iluminación, y algunas fotos se me fastidiaron y tuve que repetirlas en días distintos, de ahí que se vean algo diferentes. ¡Espero que os gusten!

Today I'm here to show you my latest shopping at iHerb. I apologize for the pictures, as I had problems with the lighting, and some photos were deleted and I had to repeat them on different days, so the lighting changes from one picture to another. I hope you like my purchases!

Este mes, me hice con los polvos minerales prensados de Honeybee Gardens en el tono "Geisha", ¡y me encantan! El tono es un puntitito más oscuro que mi cuello, pero apenas se nota si no es con luz directa y fijándose, así que estoy muy contenta. Tienen una buena cobertura, y cuando no tengo la cara especialmente mal puedo salir sólo con estos polvos a la calle (si tengo alguna parte peor, corrector en esa zona, y polvos por el resto del rostro). El producto lo venden en godet, pero se puede comprar un compacto para llevarlos (yo reciclé uno que tenía por casa). Vienen 7'5gr. de producto por 7'76$. Es un producto vegano.

This month, I bought the Honeybee Gardens Mineral Pressed Powder in "Geisha", and I love them! The shade is a tad darker than my neck, but it is barely noticeable if you do not see me under direct sunlight, so I'm quite pleased. They have good coverage, and when I have an ok-skin-day I can leave the house only with this powder (if I have a worse day, I put concealer in the area where I need it, and powder the rest of the face). This product is sold in a pan form, but you can buy a compact to carry it (I recycled one that had at home). It has 7'5gr. of product for $7.76. It is a vegan product.

Lo siguiente que compré fue esta paleta 18 Piece de E.L.F., que al irrisorio precio de 5$, no pude evitar meterla en el carrito. La verdad es que, por el precio, me parece que está muy bien: las sombras pigmentan decentemente, hay colores muy bonitos y pigmentados, y tiene tanto sombra para iluminar como sombra negra (dos básicos en el 99% de mis looks). La única pega grande que le pongo es que la forma geométrica hace que sea bastante incómodo de coger el producto. Si queréis que os enseñe swatches u os haga review de ella, decídmelo en los comentarios. Vienen 10gr. de producto.

The next thing I bought was this 18 Piece palette by E.L.F., that at the bargain price of $5, I could not help putting it in the cart. The truth is that, for the price, I think it is really nice: it has decently pigmented shadows, there are very pretty and nicely pigmented colors, and has both a "skin-like" shade and black eyeshadow (two basics in the 99% of my looks). The only big drawback I can say it is that the geometric shape makes it quite uncomfortable to use the product. If you want me to show you some swatches or to review it for you, just let me know in the comments. It comes with 10gr. of product.

El siguiente producto es el Eye Booster 2-in-1 de Physicians Formula en el tono Deep Brown. Tengo que seguir probando el producto para poder daros una opinión más fundada, pero ahora mismo tengo una relación de amor-odio con él. Me encanta el color y el aplicador, pero a veces tengo que pasar varias veces por el mismo punto para que se vea completamente opaco. Son 0'5ml de producto, y tiene un precio de 10'51$. Es un producto vegano.

The next product is the Eye Booster 2-in-1 by Physicians Formula in the shade Deep Brown. I have to keep trying the product to give you a more informed opinion, but right now I have a love-hate relationship with it. I love the shade of it and the applicator, but sometimes I have to go several times to the same point so that it looks completely opaque. It has 0'5ml product, and is priced at $10'51. It is a vegan product.

Dejando a un lado el maquillaje, repuse mi desodorante de Tom's Of Maine en Soothing Calendula. Como ya sabéis, utilizo desodorantes sin aluminio (el aluminio es muy peligroso y perjudicial), y este es por ahora el que más me ha gustado, ya que me aguanta bastante bien. Vienen 64gr. de producto, y tiene un precio de 5'63$. Es un producto vegano.

Aside from the makeup, I repurchased my deodorant in Soothing Calendula by Tom's Of Maine. As you know, I use deodorant without aluminum (aluminum is very dangerous and harmful), and this is by far the one that I liked the most as it hold pretty well. It comes with 64gr. of product, and is priced at $5.63. It is a vegan product.

En cuanto a pasta de dientes, se me acabó la que estaba usando, y aproveché para probar esta de Nature's Gate en Creme de Mint, sin flúor. Contiene 170gr. de producto, tiene un precio de 4$, y es un producto vegano.

As for toothpaste, which I ran out of the one I was using, I bought the Creme de Mint by Nature's Gate, without fluoride. It contains 170g. of product, is priced at $4, and is a vegan product.

Un clásico que todas conoceréis es el jabón de coco de Kirk's Castile, sin fragancia. A mi pastilla actual no le queda mucho tiempo de vida, así que me he hecho con un repuesto para cuando se me acabe. Vienen 113gr. de producto por 1'64$, y es un producto vegano.

A classic that all of you know is the coconut soap by Kirk's Castile, unscented. My current soap is about to die, so I bought a replacement for when it's over. It comes with 113gr. of product for $1.64 and is a vegan product.

Por último, de la sección "Trials" cogí el bálsamo orgánico de cacao de Sierra Bees. Podéis cogerlo por sólo 0'50$, y viene con 4'25gr. de producto.
Además, iHerb incluyó en mi paquete una goma de borrar como regalo.

Lastly, from the "Trials" section, I took the organic cocoa balm by Sierra Bees. You can get it for just $0.50 and comes with 4'25gr. product.

Primor | October Haul '14 (mostly vegan!)

¡Feliz martes, chicas! ¿Cómo lleváis la semana vegana? Yo os traigo hoy mis últimas compras a Primor. Todo lo que compré yo es vegano, aunque hay un labial que no (es de mi prima), pero aprovecho para enseñarlo por si alguien quería ver el color.
Lo bueno que tienen marcas como Milani, es que es muy sencillo saber qué productos son veganos o no, ya que ellos mismos los indican en su propia web.

Happy Tuesday, girls! Are you having a nice vegan week?  Today I'm here to show you my latest purchases on Primor.  Everything I bought is vegan, although there is a lipstick that it's not mine (my cousin's) that isn't, but I wanted to swatch it for you in case anyone wanted to see the color. 
The great thing about brands like Milani, is that it is very easy to know which products are vegan and which aren't, as they themselves point it out in their own web.

Tenía unas ganas locas de probar esta marca, ya que había oído hablar muy bien de ella, y es cruelty-free. Los coloretes tienen buenísima fama, así que me hice con dos de ellos.
Este primero es el tono 10 Delizioso Pink, un rosa chicle "mate" precioso (ambos coloretes, a pesar de ser mate, tienen un puntito satinado).

I wanted so bad to try this brand because I had heard very good reviews about it, and is cruelty-free. The blushes have very good reputation, so I bought two of them. 
This first one is 10 Delizioso Pink, a bubblegum pink with a beautiful "mate" finish (both blushes, despite being matte, look a bit satin for me).

También me hice con el tono 11 Bella Rosa, un rojizo rosado intenso, con un acabado "mate" (lo mismo, es ligeramente satinado).
Cada uno tiene un precio de 6'95€ en Primor. Todos los coloretes cocidos de Milani son productos veganos, y vienen con 3'5gr. de producto.

I also bought the shade 11 Bella Rosa, a deep reddish pink, with a "mate" finish (same than the las one, is slightly satin). 
Each one is priced at €6'95 on Primor.  All the baked blushes by Milani are vegan products, and come with 3'5gr. of product.

El siguiente es el único producto no vegano del haul, que es un labial para mi prima, el 17 Plumrose. Es un rosa oscuro con un punto malva de acabado cremoso. Estos labiales tienen un precio de 5'20€ en Primor, y vienen con 3'97gr. de producto.

The next product is the only non-vegan product from this haul, which is a lipstick for my cousin, the 17 Plumrose. It is a dark mauve pink with a creamy finish. These lipsticks are priced at €5'20 on Primor  and come with 3'97gr. of product.

Por último, otro producto vegano: el 12hr Wear Eyeshadow Pencil en el tono Cafe Au Lait. Es como los lápices jumbo de Jordana que tanto amo, exactamente el mismo formato, y tienen colores iguales (son de la misma "marca madre"), pero Milani tiene mucha más variedad de tono. Cafe Au Lait es un tono chocolate con leche de acabado mate. Todavía no he probado este en concreto (me acaba de llegar), pero sabiendo que son iguales que los de Jordana, os los recomiendo encarecidamente. Yo los uso como base para otras sombras, o solos, ya que me aguantan muchísimas horas sin sacar pliegues, y sin necesidad de usar una prebase.
Cada lápiz tiene un precio de 5'99€ en Primor, y viene con 2'8gr. de producto.

Lastly, another vegan product: 12hr Wear Eyeshadow Pencil in the shade Cafe Au Lait. It's like the jumbo pencils by Jordana that I love, exactly the same format and have the same colors (they are by the same "parent company"), but Milani has much more variety of shades. Cafe Au Lait is a milk chocolate shade with matte finish. I haven't tried this one in particular (I just arrived today), but knowing that they are the same as the ones by Jordana, I highly recommend them. I use them as a base for other eyeshadows, or by themselves, and they are super longasting without the need of an eyeshadow primer. 
Each shadow pencil is priced at €5'99 on Primor, and come with 2'8gr. of product.

Además, en Primor suelen enviar algún detalle con los pedidos, ¡y esta vez me han dejado boquiabierta! Me encanta el incienso, y me ha parecido un detallazo por su parte incluir este set como regalo.

Furthermore, Primor usually sends some kind of gift with their orders, and this time they have left me speechless! I love the incense, and I am really happy that they have included this set as a gift.
