iHerb | March Haul '15 (Vegan!)

¡Buenos días, chicas!
Hoy os traigo mis últimas compras en iHerb, aunque esta vez me he portado bastante bien, y sólo he cogido cosas que "necesitaba". ¡Espero que os gusten!

Today I bring you my latest purchases from iHerb, but this time I have behaved pretty well, and I just picked things I "needed". I hope you like them!

Lo primero que cogí fueron estas proteínas de guisante de la marca Now Foods para mi chico. Él andaba buscando unas protes que no fuesen caras, y fuesen 100% vegetales, así que decidió coger estas. Como podéis ver en el bote, el sabor es natural, sin sabores químicos añadidos, y sí, sabe algo raro, la verdad. Es un producto 100% puro, y sin transgénicos. Viene con una "cuchara" para coger una ración de 33gr., y cada ración contiene 24gr. de proteína, y 0 de azúcar. El bote contiene 340gr. por 8'95$, así que relación calidad-precio, parece que está muy bien.

The first thing I grabbed was these pea protein powder by the brand Now Foods for my boyfriend. He was looking for some protein powder that were not expensive, and were 100% vegetable, so he decided to try these. As you can see in the pot, the flavor is natural, without added chemical flavors, and yes, it tastes a bit weird in my opinion. It is a 100% pure product, without GMOs. It comes with a "spoon" to get a serving of 33gr., and each serving contains 24gr. of protein, and 0 sugar. The pot contains 340gr. for 8'95$, so it seems a good purchase.

Yo por mi parte aproveché para reponer algunos productos que necesitaba.
El primero fue el jabón de coco de Kirk's Castile sin fragancia, que es el que uso para lavar las brochas. Es la ¿cuarta? vez que lo compro en pastilla. Contiene 113gr. por 1'64$.
Para el rostro, sigo repitiendo una y otra vez con el African Black Soap de Nubian Heritage. Es el que más me ayuda a mantener el acné a ralla, y tiene un precio imbatible: 3'47$ por una pastilla de 141gr. de producto.

I repurchased for myself some products that I love and use everyday.
The first was the coconut soap by Kirk's Castile, unscented, which is the one I use to wash my makeup brushes. It contains 113gr. of product for $1.64.
For the face, I keep repeating over and over again with the African Black Soap by Nubian Heritage. It is what helps me to keep acne under control, and has an unbeatable price: $3.47 per pill with 141gr. of product.

También repuse la crema de rizos de la marca Desert Essence. Cada bote dura un montón (contiene 190ml, y uso muy poco cada día), me ayuda a definir el rizo sin endurecerlo, y tiene un precio de 6'72$. En España me cuesta muchísimo encontrar una crema de rizos a buen precio que no teste en animales, así que soy fiel a iHerb.

Also I repurchased my coconut soft curls hair cream by the brand Desert Essence. Each bottle lasts a lot (it contains 190ml, and use very little each day) and it helps me define the curl without making it hard, and is priced at $6'72. In Spain it's quite difficult to find a cream for my curls at a good price which doesn't test in animals, so I'm sticking to iHerb.

Por último, me hice con mi cuarto bálsamo labial de la marca vegana HURRAW!. En este caso, cogí el moon balm, que está especialmente indicado para usar mientras dormimos. Es muy emoliente, y me gusta su olor, aunque mi preferido sigue siendo el Chai Spice. Tengo varios fichados de cara al buen tiempo, así que seguramente los próximos que caigan sean el Tangerine Chamomille (mandarina y camomila) que tiene SPF15, el de Lima, o el de Coco Menta Citronela. Los bálsamos de esta marca son naturales, contienen 4'3gr., y tienen un precio de 3'82$ (o menos, según cuál cojáis).

Finally, I bought my forth HURRAW! vegan lip balm. This time, I choosed the moon balm, which is particularly suitable for use during our sleep. It is very emollient, and I like its smell, although my favorite is still the Chai Spice one. I have several that I want to buy for this spring, and those are Tangerine Chamomille with a  SPF15, the Lime one, or the Coconut Lemongrass Mint. The balms from this brand are raw, natural, vegan, contain ,4'3gr. of product, and are priced at $3.82 (or less, depending on which one you choose).

Hoy os traigo mis últimas compras en iHerb. Pido perdón por las fotos, ya que tuve problemas con la iluminación, y algunas fotos se me fastidiaron y tuve que repetirlas en días distintos, de ahí que se vean algo diferentes. ¡Espero que os gusten!

Today I'm here to show you my latest shopping at iHerb. I apologize for the pictures, as I had problems with the lighting, and some photos were deleted and I had to repeat them on different days, so the lighting changes from one picture to another. I hope you like my purchases!

Este mes, me hice con los polvos minerales prensados de Honeybee Gardens en el tono "Geisha", ¡y me encantan! El tono es un puntitito más oscuro que mi cuello, pero apenas se nota si no es con luz directa y fijándose, así que estoy muy contenta. Tienen una buena cobertura, y cuando no tengo la cara especialmente mal puedo salir sólo con estos polvos a la calle (si tengo alguna parte peor, corrector en esa zona, y polvos por el resto del rostro). El producto lo venden en godet, pero se puede comprar un compacto para llevarlos (yo reciclé uno que tenía por casa). Vienen 7'5gr. de producto por 7'76$. Es un producto vegano.

This month, I bought the Honeybee Gardens Mineral Pressed Powder in "Geisha", and I love them! The shade is a tad darker than my neck, but it is barely noticeable if you do not see me under direct sunlight, so I'm quite pleased. They have good coverage, and when I have an ok-skin-day I can leave the house only with this powder (if I have a worse day, I put concealer in the area where I need it, and powder the rest of the face). This product is sold in a pan form, but you can buy a compact to carry it (I recycled one that had at home). It has 7'5gr. of product for $7.76. It is a vegan product.

Lo siguiente que compré fue esta paleta 18 Piece de E.L.F., que al irrisorio precio de 5$, no pude evitar meterla en el carrito. La verdad es que, por el precio, me parece que está muy bien: las sombras pigmentan decentemente, hay colores muy bonitos y pigmentados, y tiene tanto sombra para iluminar como sombra negra (dos básicos en el 99% de mis looks). La única pega grande que le pongo es que la forma geométrica hace que sea bastante incómodo de coger el producto. Si queréis que os enseñe swatches u os haga review de ella, decídmelo en los comentarios. Vienen 10gr. de producto.

The next thing I bought was this 18 Piece palette by E.L.F., that at the bargain price of $5, I could not help putting it in the cart. The truth is that, for the price, I think it is really nice: it has decently pigmented shadows, there are very pretty and nicely pigmented colors, and has both a "skin-like" shade and black eyeshadow (two basics in the 99% of my looks). The only big drawback I can say it is that the geometric shape makes it quite uncomfortable to use the product. If you want me to show you some swatches or to review it for you, just let me know in the comments. It comes with 10gr. of product.

El siguiente producto es el Eye Booster 2-in-1 de Physicians Formula en el tono Deep Brown. Tengo que seguir probando el producto para poder daros una opinión más fundada, pero ahora mismo tengo una relación de amor-odio con él. Me encanta el color y el aplicador, pero a veces tengo que pasar varias veces por el mismo punto para que se vea completamente opaco. Son 0'5ml de producto, y tiene un precio de 10'51$. Es un producto vegano.

The next product is the Eye Booster 2-in-1 by Physicians Formula in the shade Deep Brown. I have to keep trying the product to give you a more informed opinion, but right now I have a love-hate relationship with it. I love the shade of it and the applicator, but sometimes I have to go several times to the same point so that it looks completely opaque. It has 0'5ml product, and is priced at $10'51. It is a vegan product.

Dejando a un lado el maquillaje, repuse mi desodorante de Tom's Of Maine en Soothing Calendula. Como ya sabéis, utilizo desodorantes sin aluminio (el aluminio es muy peligroso y perjudicial), y este es por ahora el que más me ha gustado, ya que me aguanta bastante bien. Vienen 64gr. de producto, y tiene un precio de 5'63$. Es un producto vegano.

Aside from the makeup, I repurchased my deodorant in Soothing Calendula by Tom's Of Maine. As you know, I use deodorant without aluminum (aluminum is very dangerous and harmful), and this is by far the one that I liked the most as it hold pretty well. It comes with 64gr. of product, and is priced at $5.63. It is a vegan product.

En cuanto a pasta de dientes, se me acabó la que estaba usando, y aproveché para probar esta de Nature's Gate en Creme de Mint, sin flúor. Contiene 170gr. de producto, tiene un precio de 4$, y es un producto vegano.

As for toothpaste, which I ran out of the one I was using, I bought the Creme de Mint by Nature's Gate, without fluoride. It contains 170g. of product, is priced at $4, and is a vegan product.

Un clásico que todas conoceréis es el jabón de coco de Kirk's Castile, sin fragancia. A mi pastilla actual no le queda mucho tiempo de vida, así que me he hecho con un repuesto para cuando se me acabe. Vienen 113gr. de producto por 1'64$, y es un producto vegano.

A classic that all of you know is the coconut soap by Kirk's Castile, unscented. My current soap is about to die, so I bought a replacement for when it's over. It comes with 113gr. of product for $1.64 and is a vegan product.

Por último, de la sección "Trials" cogí el bálsamo orgánico de cacao de Sierra Bees. Podéis cogerlo por sólo 0'50$, y viene con 4'25gr. de producto.
Además, iHerb incluyó en mi paquete una goma de borrar como regalo.

Lastly, from the "Trials" section, I took the organic cocoa balm by Sierra Bees. You can get it for just $0.50 and comes with 4'25gr. product.

¡Hola de nuevo, chicas! Os traigo mi último haul a iHerb de este mes de Julio del 2014. Como podéis ver, varios de los productos se repiten respecto a hauls anteriores, que digo yo que por algo será. ¿Queréis ver lo que compré esta vez? ¡Pues allá vamos!

Hello again, ladies! Today I bring you my latest iHerb haul, from this month of July 2014. As you can see, several of the items are items I have repurchased, and you know what that means. Want to see what I bought this time? Well, here we go!

Lo primero es un producto por el que tenía mucha curiosidad, el jabón líquido de Kirk's Castile. Es la versión líquida de su famoso jabón de coco, ese que tantas utilizamos para limpiar las brochas, y pensé que era una buena idea probar esta opción, especialmente a la hora de limpiar esponjas de maquillaje.
Esta versión contiene 473ml de producto, y tiene un precio de 7'25$.

The first one is a product which I was very curious about, the liquid soap by Kirk's Castile. It is the liquid version of their famous coconut soap, that many of as use to clean our brushes, and I thought it was a good idea to try this option, especially for cleaning makeup sponges. 
This version contains 473ml of product, and is priced at $7.25.

También aproveché para comprar de nuevo la versión sólida del jabón, ya que mi pastilla estaba a punto de morir. La pastilla de 113gr tiene un precio de 1'64$.

I also took the opportunity to buy again the solid version of the soap, since my last one was about to die. The 113gr bar is priced at $1.64.

El Mineral Eyeshadow Primer de ELF lo visteis en mi último haul, y he comprado otro para mi hermana, porque ella buscaba uno cruelty-free y low-cost, y la verdad es que yo estoy súper contenta con él. Vienen 4'5gr de producto, y tiene un precio de sólo 3$.

You saw the Mineral Eyeshadow Primer by ELF in my last haul, and I just bought another one for my sister, because she was looking for a cruelty-free and low-cost eyeshadow primer, and the truth is that I'm super happy with it. It comes with 4'5gr of product, and is priced at only $3.

El siguiente producto es un tónico vegano libre de alcohol bastante famosillo. Es el Rose Petal Witch Hazel con Aloe Vera de Thayers. Huele GENIAL a rosas, y la sensación en la piel es súper agradable. Vienen 355ml de producto, y tiene un precio de 8'60$.

The following product is a quite famous vegan alcohol-free toner. It is the Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera by Thayers. It smells GREAT like roses, and the feeling on the skin is really nice. It comes with 355ml of product, and is priced at $8'60.

Después de mucho investigar, y de adquirir la Beauty Blender, decidí hacerme también con la Miracle Complexion Sponge de Real Techniques, ya que quería probarla, y creo que sería interesante haceros una comparativa en el blog dando mi opinión sobre si realmente son clones o no. Tiene un precio de 6$.

After quite a lot of research, and buying the Beauty Blender, I decided to also get my hands on the Miracle Complexion Sponge by Real Techniques, as I wanted to try it, and I think it would be interesting to do a comparison on the blog giving my opinion on whether they are real dupes or not. It costs $6.

Esta hidratante la cogí para mi hermana, y es la misma que uso yo: Clarifying Therapy Moisturizer de Aubrey Organics. Es una hidratante vegana 100% natural con ácido salicílico, que ayuda a mantener lo granitos controlados.  Vienen 50ml, y tiene un precio de 14'41$.

I bought this moisturizer for my sister, which is the same one I use: Clarifying Therapy Moisturizer by Aubrey Organics. It is a 100% natural and vegan moisturizer with salicylic acid, which helps to keep my acne controlled. It has 50ml and is priced at $14'41.

Por último, repito con la Expert Face Brush de Real Techniques, que me encanta para aplicar la base de maquillaje. Tiene un precio de 9$.

Haul iHerb - Julio '13

¡Ya he vuelto de Amsterdam! Tengo muchísimas entradas atrasadas/pendientes, así que iré subiéndolas poco a poco.
Hoy os quería enseñar un pequeño pedido que hice con Landa a iHerb. Nos ha llegado todo en 11 días, y sin problemas de aduanas, así que genial. Estas son las cositas que se vinieron a casa:

I'm back from Amsterdam! I have many belated entries, so I'll slowly start uploading them.
Today I wanted to show you a small order I did with Landa to iHerb. It came home in just 11 days, and with no customs problems. These are the little things that came home with us:

Llevaba siglos queriendo probar la marca Physician's Formula, así que no dudé en aprovechar este pedido para traerme a casa mi primer colorete, en el tono Rose.
El colorete es una preciosidad, me parece ideal para hacer un regalo, o para fechas tipo "San Valentín" (aunque yo no lo celebre). 

I've been wanting for centuries to try Physician's Formula brand, so I grabbed this order to bring me home my first blush, in the shade Rose.
The blush is gorgeous, it seems ideal for a gift, or for dates like "Valentine's Day" (though I do not celebrate it).

Siempre me había preguntado por qué el packaging era tan abultado, y resulta que si levantamos el colorete, tiene abajo un compartimento con un espejo y una brocha bicolor, la cuál no recomiendo usar, puesto que pincha bastante. Pero oye, que siempre se puede usar para meter en ese compartimento otra cosa, ¡¡como un anillo con un pedrusco!! Entonces ya sí que se convierte en un pedazo de regalo de San Calentín, ¿no os parece?
Vienen 7 gramos de producto, lo cuál está más que bien (por poneros un ejemplo, los de NYX vienen con 4 gr., los de NARS con 4.8 gr., y los de MAC con 6 gr.). Tienen un precio de 11'47$, y podéis ver a cuánto sale en euros en su web, junto al precio en dólares. Ahora tengo que ver si es tan bueno como lo pintan, y si es así, repetiré seguro con la marca.

I always wondered why the packaging was so bulky, and it turns out that if we raise the blush itself, it has a compartment below with a mirror and a bicolor brush, which I do not recommend to use, since it is quite scratchy on the skin. But hey, you can always use it to put into that compartment anything else, like a ring with a big big diamond! And then it would truly become a real amazing Saint Valentine's day gift, don't you think?
It comes with 7 grams of product, which is more than good (for example, the NYX ones come with 4 gr., the NARS ones with 4.8 gr., and MAC's with 6 gr.). They are priced at $11.47, and you can see how much it costs in euros on its website, next to the price in dollars. Now I have to see if it's as good as it looks, and if so, I will repeat with this brand for sure.

Lo segundo que compré fue el famosísimo jabón de coco de Kirk's Castile. Quiero usarlo para lavar mis herramientas de maquillaje, y como es tan barato y tiene tan buena fama, pues me he animado con uno para probarlo. Por ahora sólo he lavado con él un par de brochas de Real Techniques, que también pedí en la web hace unos meses, y la verdad es que han quedado impecables.
Son 113 gr. de producto, y cuesta sólo 1'57$.

The second thing I bought was the famous coconut soap by Kirk's Castile. I want to use it to wash my makeup tools, and as it is so cheap and has such a good reputation, I have encouraged myself to try one. Right now, I've only used it to wash a couple of Real Techniques brushes, which also ordered on the same website a few months ago, and the truth is that they look now so flawless.
They are 113 gr. of product, and costs only $1.57.

Por último, Landa pidió un par de bálsamos labiales orgánicos y veganos de la marca HURRAW!, en concreto uno de canela con color, y uno de lima. Le diré que se anime y os cuente qué tal.
Vienen 4'3 gr. de producto, y cuestan 3'39$ cada uno.

Finally, Landa bought a couple of organic and vegan lip balms from the HURRAW! brand, the cinnamon one which is tinted, and a lime one. I'll encourage her to tell you what she thinks about them.
They come with 4.3 gr. of product, and cost $3.39 each.

Como "Freebie" pedí un bálsamo sin sabor de Madre Bees, y me mandaron también una muestra de un suplemento alimenticio de aceite de salmón.

As a "Freebie" I ordered a Madre Bees unflavoured lip balm, and they also sent me a sample of a nutritional supplement with salmon oil.
