iHerb | January Haul '15 (Vegan!)

¡Feliz viernes, chicas!
Hoy os traigo mis últimas compras en iHerb (Diciembre/Enero). Como sabéis, cambiaron los gastos de envío (podéis leer toda la info aquí), pero aun así, el envío de este pedido me salió por pocos céntimos más de los habituales (4'45$ en vez de 4$), por lo que, mientras me compense, seguiré comprando en la web.
Todos los productos que enseño en este haul, además de ser cruelty-free (como siempre), son veganos. ¡Espero que os gusten!

Today I bring you my latest purchases at iHerb (December/January). As you know, they changed the international shipping rates (you can read all the info here), but still the shipping of this order was just a few cents more than the usual ($4'45 instead of $4), so I will continue buying on the website, as long as the shipping costs are ok for the products I want.
All products I will show you in this haul, besides being cruelty-free (as always), are vegan. Hope you like them!

Lo primero que hice fue reponer mi hidratante preferida, que tantas veces habréis visto en el blog: Clarifying Therapy Moisturizer de Aubrey Organics. Es una hidratante vegana 100% natural con ácido salicílico, que ayuda a mantener lo granitos controlados.  Vienen 50ml, y tiene un precio de 14'41$.

The fist thing I did was repurchasing my most favorite moisturizer, that you have already seen in this blog: the Clarifying Therapy Moisturizer by Aubrey Organics. It is a 100% natural and vegan moisturizer with salicylic acid, which helps to keep my acne controlled. It has 50ml and is priced at $14'41.

Lo siguiente fue la base mineral de Everyday Minerals de acabado mate, en el tono Fair 0N. Desde hace unos meses, no encuentro mi base mineral preferida en casa (la de Lily Lolo), así que decidí coger esta para probar. Contiene 4'8gr. de producto, y tiene un precio de 14$.
Por si os interesa, la de Lily Lolo viene con más del doble de producto, y tiene un precio de 16'49€ en Ecco Verde, así que, en mi opinión, compensa mucho más (y me gusta mucho más también).

Next thing was the the mineral foundation by Everyday Minerals with a matte finish, in the lightest shade: Fair 0N. I lost my favorite mineral foundation at home a couple of months ago (the Lily Lolo one), so I decided to buy this to try. It contains 4'8gr. of product, and is priced at $14.
If you are interested, the Lily Lolo one comes with more than twice the product, and is priced at €16'49 at Ecco Verde, so in my opinion, it's a better deal (and I like that one quite a lot).

El jabón African Black Soap de Nubian Heritage es uno de mis favoritísimos, y, para mi, es el mejor jabón "contra el acné" que he probado (y han sido muchos).
Sólo cuesta 3'47$, y contiene 141 gr. de producto.

The African Black Soap by Nubian Heritage is one my favorites from iHerb, and is the best "anti-blemish" soap that I've tried (and I have tried a lot of them). 
It only costs $3.47 and contains 141 gr. of product. 

También compré vitamina B12, ya que, como la mayoría sabréis, sigo una dieta 100% vegetariana ("vegana"). La vitamina B12 no es de origen animal, es de origen bacteriano, y se puede obtener de heces y tierra, pero como yo no las como (ni creo que la mayoría por aquí...), me suplemento con dos de estas tabletas por semana. Las personas que consumen productos de origen animal suelen obtener B12 de forma indirecta, puesto que los piensos de esos animales van enriquecidos con B12, además de otros alimentos fortificados que encontramos en el mercado. Aun así, tanto personas que siguen una dieta omnívora, como personas que siguen una dieta vegetariana estricta, pueden tener deficiencia de esta vitamina, y ello puede desencadenar en anemia perniciosa.
El precio de las mismas es de 7'77$, y tomando dos por semana, duran casi un año completo (50 semanas), por lo que suplementarme "por si acaso" no me cuesta nada. Cuando la falta de B12 se evidencia, puede haber ya problemas irreversibles...

I also bought vitamin B12, because as most of you know, I follow a 100% vegetarian diet (vegan). Vitamin B12 is not of animal origin, it comes from a bacteria, and can be obtained from feces and soil, but as I do not eat neither of them (do you...?), so I take this supplement two times a week. People who consume animal products usually get B12 indirectly, since the feed of these animals are fortified with B12, in addition to other fortified foods found in the market. Still, people following an omnivorous diet, as people who follow a strict vegetarian diet may be deficient in this vitamin, and this can lead to pernicious anemia.

The price of these is $7.77, and taking two a week, they will last almost a full year (50 weeks), so taking this lozenges "just in case" is really cheap. When the lack of B12 is evident, there may already be irreversible problems...

Aproveché también para añadir dos nuevos bálsamos de HURRAW! a mi colección: Coffee Bean y Chai Spice. El olor de Coffee Bean no acaba de emocionarme, no huele mal en absoluto, pero no "me enamora", aunque hidrata genial. Chai Spice huele a té Chai que da gusto, y me tiene enamorada. Se me hace un olor muy reconfortante para el invierno. Ambos bálsamos son veganos, con "ingredientes crudos" y orgánicos. Los recomiendo al 200%, y creo que a partir de ahora, cada vez que haga un pedido a iHerb, acabará cayendo uno de los bálsamos de la marca...

Also took the opportunity to add two new HURRAW! balms to my collection: Coffee Bean and Chai Spice. The smell of the Coffee Bean one isn't specially appealing to me, but I love it, because it really hydrates my lips. Chai Spice smells like chai tea, and I really LOVE this one! It seems very comforting to me as a winter scent. Both balms are vegan, with raw and premium organic ingredients. I recommend them 200%, and I think from now on, whenever I place an order with iHerb, I will add another HURRAW! balm to my collection...

Por último, repetí con la marca Mrs Dash, esta vez con el sazonador de "chipotle sureño", que tiene un puntillo picante y algo ácido. Viene con 71gr. de producto (el típico bote de especias), y tiene un precio de 3'67$.

Finally, I repeated with another seasoning by the brand Mrs Dash, this time with the "southern chipotle" seasoning bleand which has a spicy and sour taste. It comes with 71gr. of product (average spice pot), and is priced at $3.67.

¡Hola de nuevo, chicas! Os traigo mi último haul a iHerb de este mes de Julio del 2014. Como podéis ver, varios de los productos se repiten respecto a hauls anteriores, que digo yo que por algo será. ¿Queréis ver lo que compré esta vez? ¡Pues allá vamos!

Hello again, ladies! Today I bring you my latest iHerb haul, from this month of July 2014. As you can see, several of the items are items I have repurchased, and you know what that means. Want to see what I bought this time? Well, here we go!

Lo primero es un producto por el que tenía mucha curiosidad, el jabón líquido de Kirk's Castile. Es la versión líquida de su famoso jabón de coco, ese que tantas utilizamos para limpiar las brochas, y pensé que era una buena idea probar esta opción, especialmente a la hora de limpiar esponjas de maquillaje.
Esta versión contiene 473ml de producto, y tiene un precio de 7'25$.

The first one is a product which I was very curious about, the liquid soap by Kirk's Castile. It is the liquid version of their famous coconut soap, that many of as use to clean our brushes, and I thought it was a good idea to try this option, especially for cleaning makeup sponges. 
This version contains 473ml of product, and is priced at $7.25.

También aproveché para comprar de nuevo la versión sólida del jabón, ya que mi pastilla estaba a punto de morir. La pastilla de 113gr tiene un precio de 1'64$.

I also took the opportunity to buy again the solid version of the soap, since my last one was about to die. The 113gr bar is priced at $1.64.

El Mineral Eyeshadow Primer de ELF lo visteis en mi último haul, y he comprado otro para mi hermana, porque ella buscaba uno cruelty-free y low-cost, y la verdad es que yo estoy súper contenta con él. Vienen 4'5gr de producto, y tiene un precio de sólo 3$.

You saw the Mineral Eyeshadow Primer by ELF in my last haul, and I just bought another one for my sister, because she was looking for a cruelty-free and low-cost eyeshadow primer, and the truth is that I'm super happy with it. It comes with 4'5gr of product, and is priced at only $3.

El siguiente producto es un tónico vegano libre de alcohol bastante famosillo. Es el Rose Petal Witch Hazel con Aloe Vera de Thayers. Huele GENIAL a rosas, y la sensación en la piel es súper agradable. Vienen 355ml de producto, y tiene un precio de 8'60$.

The following product is a quite famous vegan alcohol-free toner. It is the Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera by Thayers. It smells GREAT like roses, and the feeling on the skin is really nice. It comes with 355ml of product, and is priced at $8'60.

Después de mucho investigar, y de adquirir la Beauty Blender, decidí hacerme también con la Miracle Complexion Sponge de Real Techniques, ya que quería probarla, y creo que sería interesante haceros una comparativa en el blog dando mi opinión sobre si realmente son clones o no. Tiene un precio de 6$.

After quite a lot of research, and buying the Beauty Blender, I decided to also get my hands on the Miracle Complexion Sponge by Real Techniques, as I wanted to try it, and I think it would be interesting to do a comparison on the blog giving my opinion on whether they are real dupes or not. It costs $6.

Haul iHerb - Junio '14

¡Buenos días, chicas! Os traigo mi último haul a iHerb de este mes de Junio del 2014. Esta vez tardó 14 días en llegar, y el paquete llegó bastante reventado, y con los productos empapados en aceite, pero he de decir que iHerb se hizo cargo de la responsabilidad.
Así que hoy os enseño los productos. ¡Espero que os gusten!

Good morning, girls! Today I bring you my latest haul from iHerb for June 2014. This time it took 14 days to arrive to me, and the package arrived quite messed up, and the products were all soaked in oil, but I have to say that iHerb took over responsibility . 
So today I'm here to show you the products. Hope you like them!

Lo primero son dos productos para el pelo.

Repito con el aceite de coco de Cococare, ya que me gusta mucho como tratamiento antes de lavármelo. De hecho, lo dejo actuar durante toda la noche anterior. El bote de 198gr. tiene un precio de 4'57$.

El otro producto capilar es un acondicionador de Aubrey Organics que está de oferta, y dice "energizar y rehidratar" el pelo. Vi que tenía bastantes ingredientes interesantes, así que veremos qué tal. El bote es más pequeño de lo que pensaba: contiene 118ml. de producto, y podéis conseguirlo en oferta por sólo 1$.

The first are two products for the hair. 

I repurchased the Coconut Oil by Cococare, as I like it a lot as a treatment to use before the shower. In fact, I leave it all night long. It has 198gr. and it is priced at $4.57. 


The other product is a hair conditioner by Aubrey Organics which is on sale, and says  that it "energizes and rehydrates" the hair. I saw that it had many interesting ingredients, so we'll see how it goes. It is smaller than I thought: it contains 118ml. of product, and you can get it on sale for just $1.

Otro básico con el que repito es el jabón negro africano de Nubian Heritage. A mi hermana y a mi nos encanta, y va genial para pieles acnéicas, además de tener muy buen precio, ya que cuesta 3'57$ por 141gr. de producto (¡y huele genial!).

Another basic that I had repurchased is the african black soap from Nubian Heritage. My sister and I really love this, and it works great for acneic skin, besides having very good price, as it costs $3.57 per 141gr. of product (and smells great!).

Como ya sabréis, soy una adicta a los bálsamos labiales. En mi último pedido a iHerb, cogí el bálsamo de Granada de Sierra Bee's, que me está encantando, así que aproveché que seguían de oferta para hacerme con el de Vainilla y el de Miel. Ya no están de oferta, pero los podéis comprar por tan sólo 0'80$.

Además, cogí mi primer bálsamo de la marca Hurraw!, en concreto el de cereza, que da un leve tono rojizo saludable al labio (no demasiado evidente, pero perfecto para diario). Huele a una mezcla entre cereza y ¿plastilina? y tiene un precio de 3'37$.

As you probably know, I'm addicted to lip balms. In my last order to iHerb, I purchased the Pomegranate lip balm by Sierra Bee's, which I'm really loving, so I took advantage of an offer to buy me another two: the Vanilla one and the Honey one. They are no longer on offer, but you can buy them for just $0.80. 

I also purchased first lip balm from the brand Hurraw!, the black cherry tinted lip balm, which gives a slight reddish tint (not too obvious, but perfect for everyday). It smells like a mix of cherry and... plasticine? and is priced at $3.37.

También cogí un sirope para tortitas sin calorías de la marca Walden Farms. Es una marca que he visto en España, pero por iHerb sale más barata (como un 40%). El sirope sabe rico, y es un acompañamiento perfecto para mis tortitas de avena, y probablemente pruebe algo más de la marca en mi próximo pedido. Es un bote (bastante pesado) de 355ml., y tiene un precio de 3'76$.

I also bought a calorie free pancake syrup by the brand Walden Farms. It is a brand that I have seen in Spain, but it is cheaper to buy on iHerb (like a 40%). The syrup tastes good, and is a perfect accompaniment to my oatmeal pancakes, and I'll probably try something else from this brand on my next order. Is a (quite heavy) bottle with 355ml., and is priced at $3.76.

Por último, dos brochas que se añaden a mi colección.

La primera es una brocha de Real Techniques, la cual me arrepiento de no haber comprado antes: la Expert Face Brush. Tengo que hacerme con otra en mi próximo pedido, porque es una maravilla. Tiene un precio de 9$.

La otra es la Eyeshadow "C" Brush de E.L.F., un tipo de brocha de ojos básica de las que me gusta tener varias, ya que las uso a diario. Tiene un precio de 3$.

Finally, two brushes to be added to my collection. 

The first is a brush by Real Techniques, which I regret not having bought before: the Expert Face Brush. I have to get myself an extra one in my next order, because it is wonderful. It is priced at $9. 

The other one is the Eyeshadow "C" Brush by E.L.F., a basic type of eye brush that I like to have several, as I use them daily. It costs $3.

Haul iHerb - Mayo '14

¡¡Por fin os traigo mi haul a iHerb del mes!! Y digo "por fin" porque llevaba 20 días esperando los productos. He de decir que no ha sido culpa de iHerb, sino de Correos. Los muy caraduras no dejaron ni siquiera un aviso en el buzón, y hoy me han llamado diciendo que llevaban esperando a que recogiese el paquete desde el día 7... ¡¡el día 7!! ¡¡como si encima la culpa fuese mía!! Yo cada día estoy más desencantada con esta empresa... Y llevo dos semanas sin hidratante gracias a su incompetencia... En fin, os dejo con los productos que es lo importante, ¿no? ¡Espero que os gusten!

Finally I am here with my haul from this month on iHerb  And I say "finally" because I had been waiting 20 days for the products. I have to say that it was not iHerb's fault but Correos (spanish post). I didn't even receive a notification in the mailbox, and today they called me saying that they had been waiting for me to pick the package from May 7th... the day 7! And speaking as if it was my fault! I am increasingly disenchanted with this company... and I have been two weeks without moisturizing thanks to their incompetence... Anyway, I leave you with the products which is the important thing here, right? Hope you like them!

Lo primero son  tres "reposiciones" de la marca Dessert Essence (lo último no es realmente una reposición, sino un bote para mi hermana).

Empezaré por el acondicionador de coco, que ya sabéis que me gusta un montón. Es un producto vegano, sin gluten, parabenos, siliconas, ni derivados del petróleo. Huele mucho a coco, y tiene un precio de 6'05$.

La crema de peinado de coco me ayuda a definir un poco el rizo. Compré dos botes en Diciembre, pero uno de ellos desapareció, y el otro lo acabo de terminar hoy mismo (me ha durado 5 meses). También huele a coco (el olor perdura en el pelo), y tiene un precio de 6'72$.

Por último, de la misma marca, un bote de Aceite de Árbol de Té para mi hermana, que contiene 60ml y tiene un precio de 13'44$.

The first things are three "repurchased products" from the Dessert Essence brand (the latter is not really a replacement, but one like mine for my sister).

I'll start with the coconut conditioner, which you already know that I like a lot. It is a vegan product, without gluten, parabens, silicones, or petroleum. It smells a lot like coconut, and is priced at $6'05.

The soft curls hair cream helps me to define my curls. I bought two cans in December, but one of them disappeared, and I just finished the other today (lasted me 5 months). Also smells like coconut (the smell lingers in your hair), and is priced at $6'72.

Finally, from the same brand, a pot of tea tree oil for my sister, which contains 60ml and is priced at $13'44.

Lo siguiente son un producto "normal", y dos de la sección "Trials" de iHerb. Por desgracia, la sección "Freebies" ha desaparecido, pero "lo bueno" es que en la sección Trials hay varios productos de la desaparecida sección muy baratos, y podemos coger más de uno (con Freebies sólo se podía coger uno).

De esta sección son las Face Cleansing Strips, las típicas tiras para eliminar puntos negros. Siguen actualmente en la misma sección a un precio de 0'50$, aunque sabiendo que sólo vienen 3, no me parece tanto chollo.

Dentro de la misma sección cogí un bálsamo  de granada de Sierra Bees (huele muy bien), también a 0'50$.

Fuera de esta sección, en la "tienda normal", cogí una hidratante para piel acnéica de la marca Aubrey Organics. Contiene un 1% de ácido salicílico, y es vegana y con ingredientes naturales. El precio por el bote de 50ml es de 14'41$.

The following products are a "normal" one and two products from iHerb's "Trials" section. Unfortunately, the "Freebies" section has disappeared, but the good thing is that section there are several products from the missing ones of the Trials section at a very cheap price, and you can take more than one (on Freebies you could only pick one).

From this section are the Face Cleansing Strips, the typical strips to remove blackheads. Currently they are still in the same section at a price of $0'50, but knowing that they only come with 3, I don't think is such a good deal.

Within the same section I took a grapefruit balm by Sierra Bees (which smells good), also for $0'50.

Out of this section, on the "regular store", a grabbed a moisturizer for acneic skin by the brand Aubrey Organics. It contains 1% of salicylic acid, and it is vegan and has natural ingredients. The price per 50ml pot is $14'41.

Por último, en cuanto a "tema maquillaje" cogí tres cosillas de mi wishlist:

La máscara de pestañas Organic Wear de Physician's Formula, con un 100% de ingredientes naturales, y un 47% de ellos orgánicos. El bote de 7'5gr. tiene un precio de 9'55$.

La prebase mineral para sombras de ELF, que mucha gente opina que es clon de la de Urban Decay. Tengo ambas, así que ya os contaré si realmente se parecen o no, porque por 3$ que cuesta, si realmente funciona merecería totalmente la pena.

Y por último, la "brocha" de silicona para delineados de Real Techniques. Me hago delineado prácticamente a diario, y la idea de esta brocha me llama mucho, así que espero que no me decepcione. Tiene un precio de 6$.

Finally, as to "theme makeup" I bought three little things that were on my wishlist:

The Organic Wear mascara by Physician's Formula, with 100% natural ingredients, and 47% of them organic. The 7'5gr. tube is priced at $9'55.

The Mineral Eyeshadow Primer by ELF, which many people think that is a dupe for Urban Decay's. I have both, so I'll tell you if they really work the same or not, because it costs $3, and if it really works is totally worth it.

And lastly, the silicone liner brush by Real Techniques. I wear a cat eye almost daily, and the idea of ​​this brush seem very interesting to me, so I hope it does not disappoint me. It costs $6.
