iHerb | May Haul '15 (Vegan!)

¡Feliz lunes, chicas!

Happy Mondays, girls! Today I come to show you my latest purchases at iHerb. I had to buy some daily basics, and I picked a couple of things more. In addition to being cruelty-free, none of the products on this picture products containing animal ingredients of animal-derived ingredients. At the end of the post you have the video I made (in spanish) of this haul, if you prefer to listen to me instead of reading. This time I got my order in just 7 days. I hope you like them!

I was about to finish my tonic, so I got this alcohol-free toner by the brand Thayers, of rose petals and witch hazel with aloe vera. I bought it for my sister a while ago, and I loved the smell, so I decided to pick one for me. It comes with 335ml of product, and is priced at $8'60.

I was also running out of moisturizer, and decided to try a new one, and although the one I used by Aubrey Organics is really nice, after repurchasing it several times, I wanted to try something new. I opted for this one by Acure, with no sulfates, parabens, gluten, PEG, silicones... that promises to improve skin texture and prevent acne, in addition to control the oils on the skin and help rejuvenate the damaged cells of the skin. It comes with 50ml of product, and is priced at $15'99.

As I've been doing on my past hauls, I added a new HURRAW! lip balm to my collection, because as you know I'm in love with this brand. This time I bought the sun balm with SPF 15, as summer is approaching, and I could not be happier with it. It has a pleasant smell (tangerine, chamomile and a touch of vanilla) and it is really moisturizing. I think that this will become a staple for me (their night balm already is!). It comes with 4'3gr. of product, and is priced at $3.82.

I also picked a low-cost and cruelty-free version of the famous Mac's Fix+. This is the Makeup Mist & Set by the brand ELF. It comes with twice the amount of product of the Mac one (60ml) for a quarter of the price ($3). Although the ingredients of this product are 100% vegetable, I think it may have a derivative of palm oil (palmitic acid). I saw that this ingredient can also be derived from other products, so I'm not entirely sure if it comes from palm oil or not. If you do not know why I dislike palm oil, I recommend you watching this video: -link-.

The last thing I bought was this deodorant by Tom's Of Maine, Maine Woodspice. It is an aluminum-free and not antiperspirant deodorant, but for now I think I prefer the Soothing Calendula one by the same brand. It comes with 64gr. of product, and is priced at $5.63.

Si os gusta, dadle a like, y no olvidéis suscribiros a mi canal.

iHerb | January Haul '15 (Vegan!)

¡Feliz viernes, chicas!
Happy friday, girls!
Today I bring you my latest purchases at iHerb (December/January). As you know, they changed the international shipping rates (you can read all the info here), but still the shipping of this order was just a few cents more than the usual ($4'45 instead of $4), so I will continue buying on the website, as long as the shipping costs are ok for the products I want.
All products I will show you in this haul, besides being cruelty-free (as always), are vegan. Hope you like them!

The fist thing I did was repurchasing my most favorite moisturizer, that you have already seen in this blog: the Clarifying Therapy Moisturizer by Aubrey Organics. It is a 100% natural and vegan moisturizer with salicylic acid, which helps to keep my acne controlled. It has 50ml and is priced at $14'41.

Next thing was the the mineral foundation by Everyday Minerals with a matte finish, in the lightest shade: Fair 0N. I lost my favorite mineral foundation at home a couple of months ago (the Lily Lolo one), so I decided to buy this to try. It contains 4'8gr. of product, and is priced at $14.
If you are interested, the Lily Lolo one comes with more than twice the product, and is priced at €16'49 at Ecco Verde, so in my opinion, it's a better deal (and I like that one quite a lot).

The African Black Soap by Nubian Heritage is one my favorites from iHerb, and is the best "anti-blemish" soap that I've tried (and I have tried a lot of them).
It only costs $3.47 and contains 141 gr. of product.

I also bought vitamin B12, because as most of you know, I follow a 100% vegetarian diet (vegan). Vitamin B12 is not of animal origin, it comes from a bacteria, and can be obtained from feces and soil, but as I do not eat neither of them (do you...?), so I take this supplement two times a week. People who consume animal products usually get B12 indirectly, since the feed of these animals are fortified with B12, in addition to other fortified foods found in the market. Still, people following an omnivorous diet, as people who follow a strict vegetarian diet may be deficient in this vitamin, and this can lead to pernicious anemia.

The price of these is $7.77, and taking two a week, they will last almost a full year (50 weeks), so taking this lozenges "just in case" is really cheap. When the lack of B12 is evident, there may already be irreversible problems...

Also took the opportunity to add two new HURRAW! balms to my collection: Coffee Bean and Chai Spice. The smell of the Coffee Bean one isn't specially appealing to me, but I love it, because it really hydrates my lips. Chai Spice smells like chai tea, and I really LOVE this one! It seems very comforting to me as a winter scent. Both balms are vegan, with raw and premium organic ingredients. I recommend them 200%, and I think from now on, whenever I place an order with iHerb, I will add another HURRAW! balm to my collection...

Finally, I repeated with another seasoning by the brand Mrs Dash, this time with the "southern chipotle" seasoning bleand which has a spicy and sour taste. It comes with 71gr. of product (average spice pot), and is priced at $3.67.

And that is the end of my January of 2015 haul (December, actually...).
I remind you that using the code DJS736 they will make a discount of $10 on your order if it is over $40, and if your order is less than this, they will apply you a discount of $5. Shipping costs are now down to $4, so they would be free with any of the discounts. Cocovogue - Body Oils and Body Soufflés

¡Buenas tardes, chicas!

Good afternoon, girls!
As you know, I have extremely dry skin on my legs, and I have to use products to hydrate daily. Today I will show you some products that were sent to me from Cocovogue by Maria Lani, a  cruelty-free company from Philippines.

I will start with their antioxidant body oils, which nourish so nicely the skin, but they take a little longer to absorb than other products such as their Body Soufflé.
They are priced at 5'40€ each.

As you can see above, they have many different scents, but I'll tell you what my favorites are.

The first would be the Coco Moringa Tomato. It smells like sweets as it has a mixture of  strawberry, melon, kiwi, apple and orange oils.

Coco Moringa Baby Fresh smells very clean to me, like lemon with a touch of Nenuco cologne.

The Body Soufflés are the ones I like the most, because the texture is very nice, are absorbed quickly, and they moisturize the skin. I have one of Avocado and on of Aloe. Both are great, and have been my favorite products from 2013 to moisturize the skin.
They are priced at 5'63€.

The Dry Oil Mists are dry oils, with a spray dispenser. They can be used on our body or our hair, and more comfortable to use than conventional oils because we do not have to apply them with our hands and get wet.
They are priced at 6'45€.

The only downside is the shipping, because if you want to compensate them you would have to buy enough products or together with other people. The approximate price is 15€/kilo, and they send from Riga. The only thing, if someone wants to get in Madrid any of these products, you can try asking me via my Facebook page to save on shipping.
You can see their products on their website, althought for Spain, you should order them via email:

What do you think about this brand? Which are your favorite products to moisture your body?
