Hoy os traigo mis favoritos de Julio. He estado usando mucho algunos productos que tenía abandonadillos, y otros nuevos, ¡espero que os gusten!

Today I bring you my June's favorite products. I've been using a lot some products that I forgot using for quite a while, and some new products, I hope you like them!

La Glamour Sponge ha sido mi herramienta preferida para aplicar el maquillaje durante el mes de Junio. Tengo pendiente hacer un review completo de la misma, pero me gusta muchísimo como aplica el producto. La forma es similar a la Thin Sponge de Skin79, solo que ésta aumenta su tamaño al ser humedecida. Cuando tengo muchas prisas suelo recurrir a la Thin Sponge, ya que resulta mucho más sencilla de limpiar, pero cuando puedo permitirme un poquillo más de tiempo, uso la Glamour Sponge. Además, al humedecerla resulta muy agradable en el rostro en éstos días de calor. 

The Glamour Sponge has been my favorite tool for applying makeup during the month of June. I have to do a full review on it yet, but I really like how it applies the product. The shape is similar to the Thin Sponge by Skin79, very ergonomic, but this one increases its size when wet, while the Thin Sponge doesn't. When I'm a big hurry I use the Thin Sponge instead, since it is much faster to clean, but when I can afford a little bit more time, I use the Glamour Sponge. Moreover, it feels very nice when moisten on the face in these hot days.

Mi piel ha estado muy rebelde últimamente. Me han salido bastantes granitos, supongo que en parte a que he estado descuidando mi alimentación. El Aceite de Árbol de Té ha sido mi gran aliado para secar los granitos más rápidamente, y he tenido que aplicarlo prácticamente día sí y día también.

My skin has been very rebellious lately. I have many pimples, I guess in part because I've been neglecting my diet. The Tea Tree Oil has been my great ally to dry pimples quite faster, and I had to practically apply it day in and day out.

Mi labial preferido y al que más he recurrido es el Dolce Vita de NARS. Deja un acabado muy natural en mis labios, y me resulta cómodo de llevar. En ésta última semana he recurrido diariamente a otro de MUA, pero al no haberlo usado durante todo el mes, sería un poco trampa, aunque estoy segura de que saldrá en mis favoritos del próximo mes.
Para mi, es el labial perfecto para diario, y si os gustan los labios con un look natural, tenéis que probar éste.

My favorite lipstick and the one that I've been reaching the most is NARS Dolce Vita. It leaves a very natural finish on my lips, and I find it comfortable to wear. On this day last week I turned to another one by MUA, but I have not used it throughout the month, so I would be cheating if I showed it here, but I'm sure it will come in next month's favorites.
To me, it's the perfect lipstick for everyday, and if you like the lips with a natural look, you need to try it.

Este mes no he usado demasiado a los iluminadores, a decir verdad, pero siempre que lo he hecho ha sido a éste de Skin79 del que os hablé con anterioridad. Es una preciosidad, y queda muy bonito en pieles pálidas, ya que no tira a amarillento, dorado o rosa, como hacen gran parte de los iluminadores del mercado.

This month I have not used highlighters too much, actually, but whenever I have applied one, it was this one from Skin79, of which I spoke earlier. It's gorgeous, and looks nice on pale skin because it does not throw a yellow, gold or pink, as do many of the highlighters that we can find in the market.

En cuanto a coloretes, he recurrido muchísimo a éste colorete en crema de MUA, en el tono Bittersweet. Aguanta bastante bien en la piel, y deja un tono muy saludable. Como veis, es muy rosa, aunque también he estado utilizando otro tono que me llegó hace poquito y es más "natural" para pieles con subtonos más amarillentos. Por el precio que tienen, me parecen geniales.

As for blush, I have reached a lot to this cream blush by the UK brand MUA in the shade Bittersweet. It lasts well on the skin, and makes me look very healthy. As you can see, it is very pink, although I have also been using another shade that I recently got which is a bit more "natural" for skin with more yellow undertones. For the price they have, they are great.

Mi sombra para iluminar más usada durante Junio ha sido la 168 de Kiko, un blanco perlado muy bonito que queda genial en el lagrimal para abrir la mirada. La tenía muy abandonada, por lo que la depoté y la pasé a mi paleta de Neve Cosmetics para tenerla más a mano, al igual que he ido haciendo con otras de mis sombras de Kiko. Al tenerlas depotadas todas en una misma paleta, me resulta mucho más cómodo utilizarlas.

My most used highlighting eyeshadow during June was the 168 from Kiko, a very nice pearly white that looks great on the tear to open the eyes. I had it quite abandoned, so I depoted it and put it on my Neve Cosmetics palette to have it at hand, as I've been doing with my other Kiko eyeshadows. Having them depoted all in one palette, I find it much more comfortable to use them.

Pero sin duda, la sombra que más he utilizado durante el mes es la 410 de CATRICE. Me encanta ésta sombra, y he estado completamente obsesionada con ella. Tiene un tono muy especial, y os recomendaría añadirla a vuestra colección si todavía no la tenéis.

But undoubtedly my most I used eyeshadow during the month was the CATRICE 410. I love this shade, and I've been completely obsessed with it. It has a very special color, and I recommend adding it to your collection if you haven't yet.

Como base, mi preferida sigue siendo la BB Cream Vital Orange de Skin79, pero como he estado probando distintos productos durante el mes, y no la he usado mas que un par de veces, no podía incluirla en los favoritos de Junio. Otro producto que faltaría sería mi amada Naked Basics, a la que he vuelto a recurrir casi a diario, pero no quería repetirme demasiado, y por eso no la incluí en los favoritos del mes.

As a foundation, my favorite is still the Vital Orange BB Cream by Skin79, but as I've been trying different products over the month, and I have not used it more than a few times, so I could not include it in the list of June. Another product that should be here is be my beloved Naked Basics, which I use almost daily, but I did not want to repeat myself too much, and so did not include it in this month's favorites.

NARS Orgasm

Primero que nada quiero disculparme porque voy a tener que reducir el número de actualizaciones temporalmente, debido a que tengo exámenes hasta mediados de Julio, y no tengo demasiado tiempo.
Hoy vengo a presentaros uno de los coloretes más famosos en el mundillo: el Orgasm de NARS.
NARS es mi marca preferida en lo que a coloretes se refiere, dado a que son coloretes de muy alta calidad, una duración buenísima, y, por regla general, muy buena pigmentación. Precisamente el colorete que os presento hoy, el Orgasm, es el menos pigmentado de todos los que tengo, pero aun así es un producto genial.

First of all I want to apologize because I'm going to have to reduce the number of updates temporarily, because I have exams until the middle of July, and I have not many time.
Today I come to show you one of the most famous blushes in the scene: the NARS Orgasm.
NARS is my favorite brand when it comes to blushes, since they are very high quality blushes that last very long on my cheeks, and, usually, with a very good pigmentation.
Precisely the blusher that I am going to show you today, the Orgasm, is the least pigmented of all the blushes from the brand that I have, but still is a great product.

El colorete contiene 4.8 gramos de producto, y viene en el packaging típico de NARS, que tantas pesadillas nos da a la hora de limpiarlos (son muy agradables al tacto, pero se ensucian con mirarlos). Dentro encontramos un espejo, y un acetato protector con el logotipo de la marca.

The blush contains 4.8 grams of product, and comes in the typical NARS packaging, which gives us so many nightmares when it refears to cleaning (they are very pleasant to the touch, but they get dirty so easily). Inside we found a mirror, and an acetate protective with the brand logo.

Muchas personas dicen que es un tono melocotón, aunque yo creo que tira más al rosita. Supuestamente simula el rubor que tienen las mejillas tras un orgasmo, ¡con destellitos dorados y todo! que si una tiene un orgasmo, tiene que ser con glamour... Bromas aparte, es un tono precioso que favorece a todo tipo de pieles.
Es el primer colorete de NARS que tuve, y desde entonces he comprado otros dos, y una paleta de coloretes (Forecheek Play Palette), y no me arrepiento de haberme hecho con ninguno.

Many people say that it's a peach shade, but I think it is more on the pink side.  It suupposedly simulates cheeks flush after having an orgasm, including golden shimmer! because if somebody has an orgasm, it has to be glamorous... Joking aside, it's a lovely shade that looks well on almost all skin shades.
It is the first NARS blush that I had, and I have bought two more shades since then, and a palette of blushes (Forecheek Play Palette), and I do not regret any of this buys.

Como veis en el swatch, el colorete tiene una luminosidad increíble que favorece muchísimo a la hora de aplicarlo en las mejillas. Con este colorete podemos prescindir totalmente de iluminador, así que es perfecto para tener dos pasos en un sólo producto. La duración en la piel es genial, unas 8 horas en mi piel (mixta/grasa).

As you see in the swatch, this blush has an amazing brightness that works very well when applying it on the cheeks. With this blush we wouldn't need to add highlighter, so it's perfect to have two steps in one product. The duration of the skin is great, about 8 hours on my skin (combination/oily).

Es un colorete que ha sido muy clonado, por lo que si no os podéis permitir comprar en de NARS, podéis decantaros por probar con una de sus versiones "baratas", porque, vamos a ser sinceras... los coloretes de la marca, baratos, no son, aunque yo creo que merecen la pena. En la pestaña de Dupes del blog podéis encontrar algunos clones, e igualmente quiero preparar una comparativa con tonos que tengo yo para próximos posts.
Si tenéis el 20% de descuento en Sephora, que termina este domingo, es una buena oportunidad de poder haceros con el colorete a un precio algo menos elevado.

It is a very duped blush, so if you can not afford buying the NARS one, you can maybe pick one of the low-cost versions, because, let's be honest... the blushes from this brand aren't cheap, but I think they worth it. On the Dupe tab you can find some dupes of this blush, and I also want to make a comparison with some other shades that I have for upcoming posts.
If you have the 20% discount at Sephora, which ends this Sunday (in Spain), is a good opportunity to add this blush to your collection with a little less high price.

Etat Pur - Pieles Grasas

¡Hola de nuevo a todo el mundo!
Siento haber estado ausente durante toda la semana, pero es que el domingo pasado fue mi cumpleaños, y estuve fuera y sin ordenador, ¡pero ya he vuelto!
Hoy vengo a hablaros de unos productos que, como podéis ver, he estado utilizando durante bastante tiempo: se trata de tres productos de la ya conocida marca Etat Pur. Los productos que os presento hoy son especialmente indicados para pieles grasas y con tendencia acnéica como la mía.

Sorry to have been away for a week, but that last Sunday was my birthday, and I was away and without a computer, but I'm back now!
I come today to review of some products that, as you can see, I've been using for quite some time: these three products from the well known brand Etat Pur. The products that I will show you today are particularly suitable for combo/oily and acne-prone skin like mine.

El primer producto es su Gel Limpiador Purificante B06. Este gel limpiador es actualmente mi preferido. Anteriormente usaba uno de Avène, pero me notaba la piel más seca y tirante después de usarlo. Con este noto la piel mucho más limpia, sin que me reseque. La textura es tipo gel, como su propio nombre indica, y hace jabón muy fácilmente. Lo utilizo dos veces al día, por la mañana y por la noche, y me encanta la sensación de limpieza que deja. La caducidad de éste producto es de tan sólo 3 meses, pero si nos lavamos el rostro dos veces al día lo acabaremos justito para cuanto venza la caducidad.
Tiene un precio de 8'40€, y contiene 190ml.

The first product is the B06 Purifying Cleansing Gel. This gel cleanser is currently my favorite. I was previously using another one from Avène, but I felt the skin dry and tight after using it. With this I feel much cleaner skin without this drying feeling. The texture of the product is gel-like, as its name suggests, and makes soap very easily. I use it twice a day, in the morning and in the evening, and I love the clean feeling it leaves. The shelf life of this product is only 3 months, but if we wash the face twice a day we will end it up for its expiration time.
It costs €8'40, and contains 190ml.

El segundo es la Mascarilla Purificante Exprés B09. Esta mascarilla sirve para absorber las toxinas e impurezas y desincrustar los poros. Se puede aplicar una o dos veces por semana, y hay que dejarla actuar durante 5 minutos. Me encanta para cuando quiero tratar mi piel pero no tengo demasiado tiempo. Deja la piel muy suave y limpita. La caducidad de este producto es de 6 meses.
Tiene un precio de 8€, y contiene 50ml.

The second product is the is the B09 Express Purifying Mask. This mask its used to absorb toxins and impurities and scrape pores. It can be applied once or twice a week, and you have to leave it on for 5 minutes, and rinse it with warm water. I love it for when I want to treat my skin but I haven't got many time. It leaves the skin very soft and clean. The expiration of this product is 6 months.
It costs €8, and contains 50ml.

El último producto es, para mi, el producto estrella de la marca. Se trata de su Agua Micelar Desmaquillante Purificante B02. Sin duda alguna, es mi desmaquillante preferido. Está especialmente indicada para pieles mixtas/grasas, y sirve para desmaquillar tanto la cara como los ojos. Además, no contiene jabón ni alcohol, y elimina las impurezas y el sebo. No deja sensación húmeda en la piel, y, como bien sabéis, el algodón no engaña, y con este producto consigo eliminar todo el maquillaje y la suciedad sin tener que recurrir a un lavado posterior.
Además, el precio me parece muy bueno: 7'80€ por 120ml. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

The latest product is, for me, the flagship of the brand. I'm talking about their B02 Purifying Micellar Water Cleanser. It is my favorite cleanser without any doubt. It is particularly suitable for combination to oily skin, and you can use it to remove the face and the eyes makeup. It does not contain soap or alcohol, and eliminates impurities and sebum. It doesn't leave the skin feeling wet, and, as you know, cotton does not deceive, and with this product you will remove all your makeup and dirt without having to resort to a subsequent washing.
Also, the price seems so great: 7'80 € per 120ml. I definitely recommend it.

Lush - Exfoliante Arena

Hoy os presento el producto edición limitada que sacó Lush para España: estoy hablando del Exfoliante Arena. Se trata de un producto similar a su sugar scrub, perteneciente a su campaña anti-taurina, y los fondos del producto (restando el IVA) van a parar a AnimaNaturalis para apoyarles en su lucha para la defensa de los animales y que sean tratados con justicia, compasión y respeto. Representa la arena bañada en sangre en las plazas de toros. ¡Limpia de tu cuerpo la vergüenza nacional!

¡Cuidado con su uso! No mojéis todo el producto a la hora de utilizarlo, cortad la parte que necesitéis, y el resto mantenedlo fuera del agua si no queréis que se os deshaga entero. Con humedecerlo ligeramente es suficiente. Luego sólo tendremos que frotarlo sobre las zonas del cuerpo que queramos exfoliar (en mi caso los codos, por ejemplo). Os advierto que huele de vicio, yo voy a repetir seguro, tanto por el producto en sí como por apoyar la campaña que hay detrás. Porque yo sí me mojo, yo estoy completamente en contra de la tauromaquia.

Beware! Don't wet the entire product when using it, cut the amount you need, and keep the rest away of the water if you do not want to smash de whole product. Lightly moisten the Arena Scrub, and that will be enough. Then we'll just rub it on areas of the body that we want to exfoliate (in my case the elbows, for example). Be advised that smells so nice, I'll repeat with this product for sure, both for the product itself and for support the campaign behind it. Because, yes, I'm completely against bullfighting.

Lo mejor de todo es que el producto tiene un precio de tan sólo 2'50€ por 60 gramos de producto, y también venden packs solidarios (grandes y peques) de los que no me informaron en el Lush en el que estuve, y que incluyen su famoso Charity Pot, cuyos beneficios se destinarán a la misma campaña.

Cruelty Free (and Low-Cost) Dupes

GO CRUELTY-FREE!

He incluido una nueva pestaña en mi blog, la pestaña de clones (dupes). Es una pestaña que iré actualizando conforme descubra nuevos clones de productos. En su mayoría son clones de productos de Mac, pero su versión barata y/o cruelty-free.También he incluido los clones de algunas marcas famosas como Nars (marcas que son cruelty-free), pero con los clones low-cost que he encontrado. Los clones que encontraréis a los productos indicados son todo marcas Cruelty-Free, y a la izquierda encontraréis las "marcas clonadas" en las que hay marcas de todo tipo (que testan y que no).
También he incluído junto a cada clon uno o varios links a fotos o vídeos que he encontrado donde muestran comparativas entre el original y el clon, para que podáis decidir con vuestros propios ojos si lo son o no lo son. Me irritan muchísimo las listas de clones que no muestran fotos comparativas y swatches, ya que luego tengo que desperdiciar mucho tiempo "googleando" a ver si ciertamente lo son o no, por lo que yo he querido evitaros ese trabajo.
Creo que esto también puede ser de ayuda para haceros el trabajo más fácil a aquellas que queréis pasaros a la cosmética cruelty-free, ya que como sabréis, hoy en día hay clones para casi todo, por lo que os animo a que apoyéis a aquellas empresas ética y moralmente responsables para dejar así de lado a aquellas empresas que someten a los animales a terribles torturas con el fin de testar sus productos. ¿Nunca os habéis preguntado por qué siendo que hay tantísimas alternativas al testeo en animales y tantas marcas libres de crueldad animal, siguen habiendo marcas que lo hacen...?
Si conocéis algún clon que no aparezca en la lista, o queréis que os ayude a buscar clones cruelty-free (o low-cost) de vuestros productos preferidos, no dudéis en dejarlo en los comentarios.

I have included a new tab in my blog, the dupes tab. It is a tab that I will update as I discover new dupes of products. They are mostly Mac products dupes, but the cheapper version and/or the cruelty-free version. I also have included some dupes of famous brands like Nars (brands that are cruelty-free, as their dupes), but with low-cost dupes that I've found. The dupes that you will find listed are all from Cruelty-Free brands, and on the left you will find the "duped brands"(mostly high end) which are a mix between cruelty-free and cruel brands  that test on animals.
I have also included with each dupe one or more links to pictures or videos I've found where they show comparisons between the original product and the dupe, so you can decide for yourselves whether they are or aren't dupes. I really don't like those "dupe lists" where you only have text, showing no comparison pictures or swatches, and then I have to waste a lot of time "googling" to see if indeed they are or not, so I've wanted to spare you that job.
I think this can also be helpful to make your work easier for those of you who want to change to cruelty-free cosmetics, because as you know, today we can find dupes for almost everything, so I encourage you to support those ethically and morally responsible companies thus leaving aside those companies that undergo terrible tortures to animals in order to test their products. Have you ever wondered why having so many alternatives to animal testing and many animal friendly brands, there are still brands that test their products in animals...?
