Ecco-Verde (Mini Haul)

¡Os traigo un mini-haul! No sé si os gusta ver mis "hauls", así que no los subo muy a menudo, pero si os gustan, decídmelo, y procuraré hacer más.
Hoy vengo con las cosillas que pedí a la web de cosmética natural Ecco-Verde. Mi madre y yo queríamos probar una mascarilla exfoliante que vendían, así que aproveché y me traje para casa un par de cosillas más. La web me encantó, puesto que ninguno de los productos que venden ha sido testado en animales. Eso me da la tranquilidad de saber que puedo "enamorarme" de cualquier producto sin tener que investigar luego si testa o no. Las cosillas con las que piqué fueron las siguientes:

Today I come with the stuff I ordered from  Ecco-Verde's natural makeup and body care website. My mother and I wanted to try an exfoliating mask that they sold, so I jumped and I brought home a couple of things more. I loved the web, since none of the products they sell has been tested in animals. Knowing that gives me peace of mind because I can "fall in love" of any product without having to investigate then whether or not has been tested. The things of my mini-haul are this:

Lo primero que compré fue un kit facial de la marca "Cose della Natura" (13,49€). El set incluye unas esponjas faciales, un cepillo de madera para el rostro, un cepillo de uñas, un espejo de madera, y su cestita.

Lo que más me gustó del set fueron el cepillo de uñas y el espejito. Yo tengo la piel muy muy sensible y las esponjas me resultan un poco duras para el rostro, aunque las utilizo para exfoliar la espalda. No sé si les daré demasiado uso, pero la verdad es que de adorno en el baño quedan genial.

The first thing I bought was a facial kit from the brand "Cose della Natura" (13'49€). The set includes three facial sponges, a wooden brush for the face, a nail brush, a wooden mirror, and a basket.
What I most liked from the set were the nail brush and the mirror. I have a very sensitive skin and I find the sponges a little hard for my face, but I use them to exfoliate my back. I don't know if I will give them too much use, but the truth is that as an ornament in the bathroom they look great.

El exfoliante que nos hizo aventurarnos con ésta web, fue el "Anti Aging Peeling-Mask für Face & Body" de Domus Olea (28'99€).
Se puede usar como exfoliante y como mascarilla antiedad, y limpia la piel profundamente y la enriquece con antioxidantes. Es ideal para pieles maduras (como la de mi madre) y para pieles grasas/impuras (como la mía) por su combinación de aceites esenciales antibacterianos y purificantes).
Contiene gránulos de albaricoque para activar la microcirculación cutánea y preparar la piel. Contiene extracto de hoja de olivo, aceite virgen extra de oliva, de karité, miel, y aceites esenciales de eucalipto y romero. También puede ser usada para otras partes del cuerpo que necesiten ser suavizadas y nutridas (pies, rodillas, codos, cuello...). En mi caso sólo la uso en el rostro, pero mi madre la usa en el rostro y en el cuello/pecho.
Me gusta la sensación de limpieza que deja en el rostro, pero advierto que huele bastante a aceite.

The scrub that make us to adventure in this website, was the "Anti-Aging Peeling Mask für Face & Body" Domus Olea (28'99€).
It is an exfoliating cleanser and anti-age mask in a single product, specifically developed to deeply cleanse the skin and to enrich it with antioxidants. It's ideal for mature skin in need of nourishment (as my mother's) and for the treatment of greasy, impure and atonic skin (like mine) thanks to the combination of antibacterial and purifying essential oils. 
The massage with Apricot granules activates the cutaneous microcirculation and prepares the skin for the application of emulsions.  It contains Olive Leaf Extract, Apricot granules, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Shea, Honey, and Essential oils of Eucalyptus and Rosemary. It can be also used for other body parts that need to be smoothened and nourished (feet, knees, elbows, neckline). I just use it on my face, but my mothers uses this on her face and her neck/chest.
I like the clean feeling it leaves on the face, but it smells like olive oil.

Aproveché para probar la marca Everyday Minerals, a la que le tenía muchísimas ganas. Compré un colorete versión mini en el tono "All Smiles" (6'49€), y una brochita pequeñita de corte plano (7'99€). El colorete funciona genial en cuanto a duración y pigmentación, y la brochita es ultra-suave. ¡Os los recomiendo!

I took the opportunity to test the brand Everyday Minerals, which I really wanted to try. I bought a mini size of the "All Smiles" blush (6'49 €), and a mini flat top brush (7'99€). The blush works great in terms of duration and pigmentation, and the brush is ultra-soft. I recommend them!

El servicio de la web me pareció excelente. Estuvieron muy atentos a mis dudas, y el envío tardó cuatro días. Podéis consultar los precios de sus gastos de envío en la web, y a partir de 59'95€, el envío es gratis.

¿Volveré a comprar en la web? Sin duda. Me parece muy cómodo poder encontrar en una sola web un gran número de productos de distintas marcas de las que tengo la certeza de que ninguno ha sido testadas en animales.

The web service was excellent. They were very attentive to my concerns, and the shipping took four days to arrive. You can check their shipping prices on their website, and from 59'95 €, shipping is free.

Would I buy again? Definitely. It seems very easy to find in a single web a large number of products from different brands that I have the certainty that none have been tested on animals.

El Gallinero de Miss Marple

¡Empezamos la semana! Hoy vengo a hablaros de "El Gallinero de Miss Marple", una tienda online de jabones y exfoliantes artesanos que me tiene enamorada.

Llevo un tiempo usando sus jabones porque huelen de maravilla, me duran una barbaridad, adoro su packaging (para qué negarlo) y HUELEN DE MARAVILLA (¿lo había dicho ya?).

Se pueden comprar de forma individual, o en sets, y en fechas señaladas (como Halloween, Navidad, o ahora, San Calentín) salen a la venta "Ediciones Especiales". Yo tuve la suerte de que me regalase mi padre uno de los jabones de Halloween (sabe que me encanta Samhain), y un set de jabones por Navidad.

Por Halloween sacó una cantidad de jabones chulísimos, algunos con "monstruitos" dentro. El que mi padre me regaló fue éste:

We are starting the week! Today I came to review the products from "El Gallinero de Miss Marple", an online artisan soaps and scrubs retailer that I'm in love with
I been using their soaps for a while, because they smell great, last so long, I love their packaging (why denying) and have WONDERFULL smell (did I mention that already?).
They can be purchased individually or in sets, and on special dates (such as Halloween, Christmas, and now, Saint Valentine's) they have "Special Editions" on sale. I was lucky to recieve one their Halloween soaps from my father (he knows I love Smahain), and a set of soaps for Christmas.
For Halloween they made lots of amazingly cute soaps, some with "monsters" inside. The one my father gave me was this one:

(Siento si algunas de las fotos no están muy allá, pero las hice en su momento antes de tener el blog, simplemente para enseñarlos o guardarlas de recuerdo.)

Como mi padre sabe que me encantan estos jabones, decidió regalarme también una caja "Gallina de Huerto" (24€) por Navidad, aunque al ser una "edición especial", en vez de venir los cuatro jabones que incluye la caja (Fresa Crujiente, Cereza, Melón y Melocotón), venía con el de Fresa Crujiente, el de Melocotón y uno de sorbete de Mango y Plátano bastante grande, con forma de estrella y purpurina, muy adecuado para las fechas.

(Sorry if some of the photos are very good, but at the time I did them I didn't have the blog, so I just did them to show them and save them to memory.)

As my father knows I love these soaps, he also decided to give me a "Gallina de Huerto" ("Orchard Hen") box (24 €) for Christmas, but as it was a "special edition", instead of the four soaps that usually come in this box (Strawberry Crisp , Cherry, Melon and Peach), it came with the Strawberry Crisp, the Peach and a Mango and Banana Sorbet (quite larger) one, star-shaped with glitter, very suitable for Christmas.

Como podéis comprobar, las cajitas están cuidadas al detalle (y la tapicería de mi sofá, un poco sucia, by the way).

As you can see, the boxes are full of details (and my sofa upholstery, a little dirty, by the way).

Sobre los jabones, todavía no he olido uno que no me guste. Como suelo tener varios para ir usando según mi estado anímico, lo que hago es cortar un pedacito del que me apetezca más y usarlo, o bien hasta que se me acabe, o hasta que me apetezca cambiar de olor. Además así evito que se estropeen en la ducha o con la humedad (manías mías, porque no se deshacen en absoluto). La primera capa del jabón es la que menos me gusta, porque la suelo notar algo tirante, pero en cuanto se desgasta, los jabones son una maravilla. Y, aunque también sea fan acérrima de los jabones de Lush, éstos los han desbancado completamente de mi ducha ya que, además de salir muy bien de precio (4'20€/100 gr. VS. los 4'40€ del jabón más barato de Lush) siempre es preferible apoyar al "pequeño comercio", y más en los tiempos que corren.

Por supuesto, los ingredientes son naturales, y vienen indicados en la etiqueta del producto. Os animo también a dejar algún trozo del jabón que no estéis usando en un cajón/armario, y veréis el olor tan rico que dejan (jabón y ambientador, ¡dos en uno!).

About the soaps, I have not smelled anyone that I didn't liked. As I have several to go using depending on my mood, what I do is cut a bit from the one that I want to use at the moment and use it, or until I run out, or until I want to change. Also, doing this, I avoid spoilage in the shower or with humidity. 
The first layers of the soaps are my least favorites, because they feel a bit straining to me, but as it wears, the soaps are wonderful. And, although I am a staunch fan of Lush soaps, they have ousted them entirely of my shower because they are very well priced (€ 4'20 / 100 gr. VS.'s 4.40 € Lush's cheapest soap) and it's always preferable to support the "small business", and more in these times.


Of course, the ingredients are natural, and they are indicated on the product label. I encourage you to leave a piece of soap that you are not using it in a drawer / closet, and see the rich smell left (soap and air freshener, two in one!).

Mis últimas adquisiciones fueron un jabón de cereza (6€) -olor 100% a piruleta-, y una mermelada exfoliante de Lima-Limón (12€). El "jabón del mes" se vende a 5€, y ahora en Febrero le toca el turno al de cereza, así que si lo queréis probar es una buena ocasión.

Yo soy fan de los cítricos, me encanta el olor a Lima-Limón, así que estoy completamente enamorada de esta exfoliante. La uso una vez por semana en codos y pies, que son las zonas en las que tengo la piel más dura y seca. El producto hay que removerlo bien antes de usarlo con la cucharilla que incluye para mezclar los ingredientes. Como la mayor parte de las exfoliantes, hay que frotarla suavemente sobre las zonas donde queramos exfoliar, dejar actuar un par de minutos, y posteriormente aclarar.

My most recent acquisitions were a cherry soap (6 €) -100% lollipop smell-, and a Lime&Lemon jam scrub (12 €). The "soap of the month" is sold at 5€, and now, in February , it's the turn to the cherry one, so if you want to try it is a good opportunity.


I am a huge fan of citrus, I love the smell of Limes and Lemon, so I'm completely in love with this scrub. I use it once a week on elbows and feet, which are the areas where I have the hardest and dryer skin. You must stir the productwell before using it with the spoon that it cames with to mix all the ingredients included. As most of the scrubs, you must rub gently on the areas where we you to exfoliate, leave a couple of minutes, and then rinse.

El único punto negativo que le encuentro es que huele tan bien que la cuchara puede resultar un peligro, ya que nos invita a probar el sabor de la rica mermelada, y tengo que recordarme que NO es para comerla, por muchas ganas que tenga. Los ingredientes son azúcar, aceites esenciales, glicerina y aromas naturales, según el producto escogido. Ahora mismo dispone de 32 aromas distintos, así que seguro segurísimo que encontráis alguno que os guste.

Como novedad, se ha incluido la opción "Sin Bobadas", que vienen a ser los mismos jabones, pero sin telitas ni cordeles. Por cada seis jabones (no hace falta que sean seguidos, os apuntará en una lista), los clientes "Sin Bobadas" tendrán una sorpresa con su pedido. Yo, que soy muy fan de las manualidades, aprovecho siempre las telitas y cordeles para mis proyectos personales, pero para quien no los quiera para regalo o no "necesite" las telitas, es una buena opción.

Éste mes, con motivo de San Calentín, podréis encontrar una nueva Edición Especial de jabones, para regalar (o regalaros), y una "propuesta especial" para regalar a hombres (en la segunda imagen).

The only drawback I find is that smells so good that the spoon can be a danger, because it invites us to taste the rich flavor of the jam, and I have to remind myself it is NOT for eating. The ingredients are sugar, essential oils, glycerine and natural flavors, depending on the product chosen. Right now, it has 32 different flavors so I'm quite sure that you'll find one that you like.


A new feature has been included on the shop, the "No Nonsense" option ("Sin Bobadas"), which come to be the same soaps, but without  that cute packaging with fabric and strings. For every six soaps (no need to be followed, as she will point you in a list), "No Nonsense" clients will have a surprise in their order. I am a big fan of crafts, and I keep always the fabric and the strings for my personal projects, but for those who don't want to gift them or don't "need" the fabric, is a good choice.


This month, because of Saint Valentin'es, you will find a new Special Edition of soap to give away (or to keep for yourself), and a "special tender" to give to men (in the second image).
