Être Belle - Pure White

¡Buenas tardes, chicas! ¿Cómo habéis empezado la semana?
Hoy vengo a presentaros un producto de la gama Pure White de la marca Être Belle. Se trata de la Pure White Pearl Day Cream, como ellos mismos indican en el envase, una crema protectora de día para la aclaración óptica de la piel que proporciona a la misma sustancias vitales y humedad gracias a su contenido de proteínas de perla. Las sustancias selectas inhiben la formación nueva de melanina para dar a la piel suavidad y una tez homogénea.

Good afternoon, ladies! How have you started the week?
Today I come to present you a product from the Pure White range of the brand Être Belle. I'm talking about the Pure White Pearl Day Cream, which is, as you can read in their packaging, a protective cream for optic clarification of the skin which provides vital substances and moisture, thanks to their protein content of pearl. Selected ingredients prevent melanin production and also give your skin that silky soft feel and smooth, flawless complexion.

Personalmente, no indicaría su uso durante el día en ésta época del año, debido a la baja protección solar que tiene (SPF 10) y que no es aconsejado su uso bajo intensa exposición solar. Como sabréis ya, yo utilizo normalmente SPF 50. Aun así, se puede continuar usando la crema por la noche en vez de por el día, como he estado haciendo yo.

I personally do not indicate its use during the day at this time of year, due to the low sun protection it has (SPF 10) and is not recommended for use under intense sun exposure. As you may know already, I normally use SPF 50. Even so, you can continue to use the cream at night instead of during the day, as I've been doing.

Como podéis ver, la crema viene protegida para que no se contamine con agentes externos. Al ponerla por las mañanas, debemos esperar a que la piel la absorba correctamente antes de maquillarnos. Lo mismo ocurre por la noche: no hay que aplicarla justo antes de acostarnos, sino que deberemos aplicarla un rato antes.

As you can see, the cream comes packed to avoid contamination with external agents. Once we apply this cream in the mornings, we have to wait for the skin to absorb it properly before putting on makeup. The same happens at night: do not apply it just before bed, but apply it for a while before.

La textura de la misma es muy cremosa, y huele de maravilla. Yo la usé en algunas manchitas recientes no demasiado pigmentadas, y noté resultados al poco tiempo. Sin embargo la he estado probando también sobre alguna mancha "antigua" que tiene mi madre en el rostro, y en estas sólo hemos conseguido difuminarlas un poco, pero sólo la crema de día no bastaría para conseguir eliminarlas. Aun así, si ayuda a que no aparezcan nuevas manchas e hidrata muy bien la piel.
Para conseguir borrar las manchas más antiguas deberíamos llevar a cabo el tratamiento completo, o quizá hubiese sido más acertado probar con el Pure White Pearl Concentrate, que es un serum para tratar específicamente manchas de alta pigmentación, como la de mi madre. En la web de Être Belle encontraréis todos los productos de la línea Pure White: Pure White Pearl Concentrate (mencionado anteriormente), Pure White Pearl Refreshing Tonic, Pure White Pearl Night Cream, Pure White Pearl Cleansing Mousse, y Pure White Pearl Day Cream.

The texture of it is very creamy, and smells wonderful. I used it in some recent spots which were not too pigmented, and noticed results soon. But I have also been testing it on  old pigmentation marks that my mother has on her face, and we could only fade them a little, but only the day cream is not enough for making them disappear. Still, if it helps to prevent new spots from appearing and hydrates the skin thoroughly.
To remove more pigmented or older pigmentation marks we should carry out the full treatment, or maybe you will achieve better results with the Pure White Pearl Concentrate, a serum to specifically treat high pigmentation spots, like my mother's. On the website of Être Belle you could find all the products from the Pure White line: Pure White Pearl Concentrate (mentioned above), Pure White Pearl Refreshing Tonic, Pure White Pearl Night Cream, Pure White Pearl Cleansing Mousse, y Pure White Pearl Day Cream.

Si buscáis evitar la aparición de nuevas manchas, es vuestra crema. Sin embargo, si lo que queréis es conseguir borrar manchas realmente pigmentadas, os recomendaría probar con la crema que especifiqué arriba.
Tiene un precio aproximado de unos 60€, por lo que no es apta para todos los bolsillos. Sin embargo si sois propensas a la aparición de manchas en la piel y queréis evitarlas a toda costa, os recomiendo que probéis la Pure White Pearl Day Cream.

If you are looking to avoid the appearance of new spots, this is your cream. However, if what you want is to get rid of really high pigmented spots, I recommend trying the cream I specified above.
It costs approximately €60, so it is not suitable for all budgets. However, if you are prone to dark spots on your skin and want to avoid at all costs, I recommend you to try the Pure White Pearl Day Cream.

Hoy vengo a presentaros una marca de maquillaje mineral: Mineralissima. Como sabéis, el maquillaje mineral es apto para las pieles más sensibles, y no contiene productos peligrosos o nocivos para nuestra piel.

Today I come to show you a brand of mineral makeup: Mineralissima. As you may know, mineral makeup is suitable for sensitive skin, and contains no dangerous or harmful ingredients for our skin.

Empezaré por las sombras de ojos. El formato bolsita de las muestras me incomoda bastante: para utilizar el producto tengo que meter el pincel en la bolsa, y desperdicio muchísimo, ya que acaba pegado por todo el pincel. Aun así, las sombras en sí me parecieron bonitas. Tienen una buena pigmentación y se difuminan muy bien. Además, la gama de colores es bastante grande.

I will start with their eyeshadows. The sample bags bother me a lot: to use the product I have to put the brush in the bag, and I end up wasting a lot, because the product stucks around the brush. Even so, the eyeshadows themselves seemed nice. They have good pigmentation and blend very well. In addition, the color range of their eyeshadows is quite large.

El precio de la bolsita es de 1'25€, y el tamaño original son 2 gramos en un tarro de 5 gr., y tiene un precio de 5'95€. Yo os recomendaría comprar directamente el tamaño original, ya que la diferencia de precio no es que sea muy grande, y además de tener bastante más producto en el tarrito, os evitaréis la pelea de utilizar el producto en la bolsita.

The price of the sample bag is €1'25, and the full size is 2 grams in 5 gr. jar, and is priced at €5'95. I recommend you to buy directly the original full size of the eyeshadow you want to try, since the price isn't a huge diference, and besides having a lot more product in the jar, you escape the fight you use the product in the bag, which is so annoying (at least to me).

El Mineral Primer es un primer especialmente indicado para las sombras de ojos. Ayuda a intensificar los colores, aunque yo tengo los párpados bastante grasos, y con éste primer me siguen saliendo pliegues. También se puede utilizar por el rostro, ya que ayuda a matificarlo, y ésta última función es la que yo le he estado dando. La muestra de 1gr. tiene un precio de 1'75€ (0'90€ con el logo antiguo), y los 5gr. del tamaño original cuestan 8€.

The Mineral Primer is primer particularly suitable for mineral eyeshadows. It helps to intensify the colors a bit, although I have quite oily eyelids, and even with the primer the eyeshadows tend to fade on me. It can also be used for the face, as it helps to mattify it, and this function is the one I've been giving to the primer. The sample of 1 g. is priced at €1'75  (€0.90 with their old logo), and the original 5gr. full size costs 8 €.

El Glow Shimmer aparece como bronceador en su web, aunque yo lo considero un iluminador. Refleja la luz de una manera sutil, y para mi es uno de los productos estrella de la marca.  El bote de muestra tiene un precio de 1'75€ (con el logo antiguo, 0'80€), y el tamaño original tiene un precio de 10€.
He de añadir que el tamaño original contiene 5gr., y la muestra 1 gr., por lo que el original nos sale a 2€ el gramo, mientras que en muestra nos sale a 1'75€ el gramo... no le encuentro sentido alguno. Además, si no os importa que tenga el logo antiguo, podéis pedir 5 botes (que equivaldrían al formato grande) por 4€. Vamos, que os ahorráis un 60%.

The Glow Shimmer appears as a bronzer on their website, but I consider it a highlighter. It reflects the light in a subtle way, and to me is one of the best products of this brand. The sample bottle are priced at €1.75 (with the old logo, €0.80), and the original full size is priced at €10.
I would add that the original size contains 5 grams., and the samples 1 gram, so we get the full size at €2 per gram, while we get the samples at €1.75 per gram... it doesn't make any sense. Also, if you don't mind having the old logo, you can order 5 jars (which would be the same amount in total as the full size) for €4. That way, you end up saving a 60%.

El Sunkissed Bronzer lo he encontrado demasiado oscuro para usar como bronceador en mi tono de piel, ya que me queda naranja. Lo recomendaría para chicas de piel más morena. El precio de la muestra de 1 gr. es de 2'25€, y el tamaño original tiene un precio de 11€.

I found the Sunkissed Bronzer to be too dark for my skintone, and it made me look quite orange. I would recommend this for darker skinned girls. The sample price of 1 gr. is €2'25, and the original full size is priced at €11.

La base de maquillaje mineral está disponible en 11 tonos. A mi me mandaron el segundo, el 1.0 Ivory, puesto que como sabéis hace un mes estuve de festival, y cogí algo de color. El bote de muestra de 1 gr. cuesta 1'75€ (o 0'90€ si pedís que os lo envíen con el logo antiguo), y el formato original son 13'75€, y contiene 10 gramos de producto.

The mineral makeup foundation is available in 11 shades. I really sent me the second one, Ivory 1.0, since as you know I went on a music festival a month ago and get a bit "tanned". The sample bottle of 1 gr. costs €1.75 (or €0.90 if you choose it to be shipped with the old logo), and the original full size is €13'75, and contains 10 grams of product.

No es una mala base, pero sólo la recomendaría a aquellas personas que no tengan demasiadas imperfecciones en el rostro, y quieran dar un acabado bonito y uniforme a la piel. Aproveché mis días del mes, que es cuando tengo peor la piel, para fotografiar el antes y el después con ésta base, pero como veis, la cobertura se me queda muy corta, y el producto se acumulaba en las heriditas. Además, tampoco la recomendaría para climas muy cálidos o personas con la piel grasa.

It is not a bad foundation, but I would only recommend it to those who do not have too many imperfections in their face, and want to give a nice even finish to the skin. I took my days of the month, when I have my skin worse, to photograph the before and after with this foundation, but as you see, the coverage is very low to me, and the product is accumulated in my injuries. I wouldn't recommend it either for very hot weather or people with oily skin.

Los Youth Dew son unos polvos que supuestamente ayudan a dar luminosidad a las pieles apagadas.
El bote de muestra cuesta 2'50€ (1'25€ con el logo antiguo), y el grande de 5 gr., 14€, por lo que, al igual que con el Glow Shimmer, sale más rentable pedirlo en muestras, ya que el tamaño original tiene un precio de 2'80€/gramo. De nuevo, un poco absurdo.

Youth Dew is a powder that supposedly helps to give radiance to dull skin. 
The sample bottle costs €2.50 (€1.25 with the old logo) and the large 5 gr. jar costs €14, therefore, as with the Glow Shimmer, is better to buy them in samples, because the original size is priced at €2'80 per gram. instead of the €1'25/gram of the samples with the old logo. Again, it makes no sense.

El Chiffon Finish es un polvo translúcido perfecto para darnos el aspecto de piel de porcelana. Me gusta mucho aplicarlo sobre mi BB Cream. Tienen una versión para pieles más morenas, aunque la versión original no he podido encontrarla en su web. La muestra de 1 gr. tiene un precio de 1'80€, y el tamaño original de 10 gr. cuesta 14€.

The Chiffon Finish is a translucent powder which is perfect to give the appearance of porcelain skin. I like to apply it over my BB Cream. They have a version for darker skins, though I couldn't find the original version of this on their website. The sample of 1g. is priced at €1.80, and the original full size of 10 gr. costs 14 €.

Mi producto preferido, sin duda alguna, ha sido su colorete. Tengo una debilidad absoluta por los coloretes, he de admitirlo, pero es que el tono Blush Blusher es perfecto para mi tono de piel.

My favorite product, without any doubt, has been their blush. I have an absolute weakness for blushers, I must admit, but the shade of their Blusher Blush is perfect for my skintone.

Como podéis ver es un tono precioso y muy natural para pieles pálidas. Tienen 10 tonos diferentes, y si os gusta el maquillaje mineral os recomendaría probar los de la marca, porque tienen muy buena calidad, y aguantan muy bien durante el día. Podéis probar una muestra de 1 gr. como la mía por 2'25€, o comprar el tarro grande de 5 gr. por 11€ (para que os hagáis una idea de la cantidad, los coloretes de NYX contienen 4 gr. de producto, y las sombras de Essence 2'5 gr.)

As you can see is a beautiful shade which looks very natural on my pale skin. They have 10 different shades, and if you like mineral makeup I recommend trying the blushes from this brand, because they have very good quality, and hold up very well during the day. You can try a sample of 1 gr. like mine for €2'25, or buy the big jar of 5 gr. for €11 (to give you an idea of ​​the amount, NYX blushes contain 4 grams. of product and the eyeshadows from Essence 2.5 gr.)

Semana Amiga de Shiseido (Junio '13)

¡Feliz martes, chicas!
Traigo un post-exprés de un haul muy especial: se trata de mi mini-haul (con mi hermana) de la Semana Amiga de Shiseido. Para las que no lo sepáis, durante la semana amiga, en el Edificio Oficor (Madrid) tienen muchísimos productos de diversas marcas de Sisheido al 38%. Yo no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad, aunque me quedé con media wishlist por el camino... No tenían nada de la Colección de Pierre Hardy, ni uno de los labiales que buscaba. Además, las cosas se agotan bastante rápido, y a tan sólo una hora de la apertura, se quedaron sin el colorete Dolce Vita. Aun así, conseguí hacerme con tres de las cositas que quería, y mi hermana con una con la que no contaba.

I bring you today a very special haul express post: it is my mini-haul (with my sister) of the Shiseido's Friend Week. For those who do not know, during the "Semana Amiga", in the Oficor building (Madrid) they have many products of various brands from Sisheido with a 38% of discount. I could not pass up the opportunity, but sadly some of the items from my wishlist weren't there... They had nothing from the new Nars' Pierre Hardy's collection, and one of the lipsticks I wanted. Also, things get sold out pretty fast, and only an hour from the opening, the Dolce Vita's blush was sold out. Even so, I got my hands on three of the little things I wanted, and my sister bought one that she didn't know about.

Mi hermana se pilló el famosísimo iluminador Copacabana. Dudó entre ese y el Orgasm, pero cuando le enseñé cómo le quedaba el Copacabana no dudó. Os haré review de todos los productos más adelante, pero os dejo fotitos del haul para ir abriendo boca...

Yo piqué con dos coloretes: el primero ha sido el Seduction. Es un colorete del que no oigo demasiado hablar por los blogs (quizá sea porque en la web aparece como "nuevo"), y a mi me parece una auténtica preciosidad. En la web lo definen como un color sangría, y tiene un brillito sutil.
Precio: 21'96€.

I fall with two blushers: the first one was the Seduction. It is a blush which I haven't heard too much about it on the blogs (maybe it's because on the website it's listed as "new"), and to me it looks like a real beauty. On the website, they define it as a sangria color, and has a subtle sheen.
Price: €21'96.

También me hice con el colorete Amour. Lo definen como un rosa-melocotón. Me parece un color ideal para pieles blanquitas como la mía, y lo tenía desde hace tiempo en mi Wishlist. Dudaba entre ese y el Torrid, pero como también tengo el Orgasm, me he decantado por el Amour que es mate y recuerda menos (al menos a mi).
Precio: 21'96€.

I also got the blush Amour. It is defined as a peachy pink. It seems perfect to fair skins like mine, and I had it for some time on my wishlist. I doubted between that one and Torrid, but I have also the Orgasm, so I opted for the Amour, because it is matte and seems more different (at least to me).

De labiales, tenía en mi wishlist éste y el Barbadella, que no lo tenían. Tengo bastantes labiales rojos, así que fiché el Dolche Vita (uno de los labiales de culto de la marca) para tener alguno más rosadito, pero que no fuese "rosa rosa", porque los rosas me sientan fatal. El Dolce Vita es muy similar al tono de mis labios, por lo que queda muy natural y elegante, y tiene acabado sheer. La verdad es que ahora que lo he probado, me parece un "must". ¿No es precioso?

From lipsticks, this one and Barbadella were on my wishlist, but they didn't sell Barbadella. I have many red lipsticks, so I chose the Dolche Vita (one of the cult lipsticks from Nars) to have a more rosy one, which was not so pink, because pinks look awful on me. The Dolce Vita is very similar to the shade of my lips, so it looks very natural and elegant, and has sheer finish. The truth is that now that I've tried it, it seems a "must". Isn't it beautiful?

Neve Cosmetics (88 Colores)

¡Por fin es finde!
Hoy vengo a presentaros algunos nuevos productos de la marca vegana italiana Neve Cosmetics, los cuales podéis encontrar en la web de 88 Colores. Hoy os hablaré de los productos que veis en la foto, salvo de las muestras y la prebase de ojos. Sobre la prebase tendréis otro post más en profundidad.

It's finally weekend!
Today I come to present some new products from the italian vegan brand Neve Cosmetics, which you can find on the website of 88 Colores. Today I will talk about the products you see in the picture below, except for the samples and the eye primer. I will have another post about the primer more in depth.

Dicen una imagen vale más que mil palabras. Como veis, la pigmentación es una pasada. Las sombras que yo tengo son la Coco, la Chocoholic, y la Espresso. Ahora mismo quedan pocas en stock, y tienen un precio de 3'27€, así que teniendo en cuenta el tamaño del godet y la calidad de las sombras, yo no dudaría.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. As you see, the pigmentation is amazing. The shades that I have are the Coco, the Chocoholic, and Espresso. Right now there are few in stock, and are priced at €3'27, so considering the size of their godets and the quality of the eyeshadows, I would not hesitate.

La propia marca tiene paletas vacías de 36mm para sus sombras. Ésta paleta vacía tiene un precio rebajado de 7'22€, aunque la regalan con la compra de 5 sombras de la marca, lo cual está genial. Además, podéis usarla también para, por ejemplo, las sombras que ya tengáis de la marca Kiko. También tienen paletas como la que veis (pero moradas) con todos los huecos rellenos. Las hay de sombras y de coloretes, y tienen un precio rebajado de 22'78€. Por un precio total de 2'28€ aprox. por cada sombra, y la paleta de regalo, creo que estas paletas preseleccionadas están genial de precio.

The brand itself has empty palettes with 36mm holes for their eyeshadows. This empty palettes have a discount and are priced at €7.22, although they are given away with the purchase of 5 eyeshadows of the same brand, which is great. Furthermore, you can also use this palettes, for example, with your eyeshadows from Kiko Cosmetics. They also have palettes like this one (but in purple) which are already filled. They are palettes of eyeshadows and blushes, and they also have a discount and now are priced at €22'78. For a total price of €2'28 approx. for each eyeshadow and the free palette, I think those ones seem so great too.

Con poco que me conozcáis, sabréis que los labiales rojos son mi perdición absoluta. El tono 005 Cherry Pie de Neve Cosmetics es un rojo cereza precioso. La textura del labial es muy cremosa, y tiene una duración muy buena en los labios. Me atrevería a decir que se ha convertido en mi rojo preferido, ya que no sólo es una marca cruelty-free, sino que, como repito, los ingredientes de los cosméticos de la marca son veganos, lo que hace que utilice la marca muchísimo más a gusto. El labial no contiene siliconas, parabenos ni vaselina, y está formulado para reducir lo riesgos de alergia. El packaging recuerda un poco en cuanto a color a los de la famosísima marca vegana Lime Crime, con el beneficio de que éstos están ahora descontados a un precio de 10'11€. Los labiales que podéis encontrar en la web son de tonos melocotón, rojizos, rosados y ciruela, todos muy ponibles. Además, huelen genial.

Knowing me just a little bit, you will know that red lipsticks are my absolute perdition. The shade 005 Cherry Pie from Neve Cosmetics is a gorgeous cherry red. The texture of the lipstick is very creamy, and they last very well on the lips. I would say it has become my favorite red, as it not only is a cruelty-free brand, but, as I said before, the ingredients of the cosmetics from this brand are vegan, which makes using the brand much more better to me. The lipstick does not contain silicones, parabens or petrolatum, and is formulated to reduce the risk of allergies. The packaging reminds me a little in color to those of the famous vegan brand Lime Crime, with the benefit that they are now discounted at a price of €10'11. The lipsticks you can find on the web are in peach, red, pink and plum shades, all very wearable. Also, they smell so great.

Las sombras minerales de la marca son también una pasada. Me mandaron el formato mini (0'7 gr.) de la sombra Versailles, una sombra de un bronce dorado espectacular. La pigmentación es increíble, y tienen un precio (2 gr.) rebajadas de tan solo 6'71€.

The mineral eyeshadows from this brand are also awesome. They sent me the mini format (0.7 gr.) from the Versailles eyeshadow, an eyeshadow of a spectacular golden bronze. The pigmentation is amazing, and are priced (2 g.) right now at only €6'71.

Aquí tenéis todos los swatches juntos. Sólo con ésta foto ya se ve que son productos de muy buena calidad, y os puedo asegurar que no decepcionan. 

Here are all the swatches all together. Only with this picture you can see that the quality of the products is very high, and I can assure you that their products won't disappoint you.

Por último os presento la brocha "Red Amplify". Se trata de una brocha bastante larguita (unos 19 cm.), de pelo sintético, con un mango de madera lacada con un acabado brillante. Las brochas de la marca se diferencian porque cada una tiene el mango de un color distinto. Como bien sabréis, cada una puede utilizar las brochas como le apetezcan, no hace falta que sigamos el supuesto uso de la brocha. En la web de 88 Colores indican que es una brocha perfecta para la aplicación del colorete, pero a mi sólo me gusta para coloretes poco pigmentados, porque como podéis ver, es una brocha muy densa. Me gusta mas para la aplicación de polvos cuando quiero más cobertura, y también es ideal para aplicar la base.

Finally I present you their "Red Amplify" brush. This is a pretty long brush (about 19 cm.), with synthetic hair and a lacquered wooden handle with a glossy finish. The brushes from this brand are different because each one has the handle of a different color. As you know, everyone can use the brushes as they want to use them to, you no need to follow the alleged use of the brush. On the website of 88 Colores they indicate that this is a perfect brush for applying the blush, but I only like it with slightly pigmented blushers, because as you can see, is a very dense brush.
