Elisabeth Llorca - Primavera/Verano '13

Día de huelga, aunque no en internet, así que aquí me tenéis con un nuevo post.

Vengo a presentaros la colección Primavera/Verano de Elisabeth Llorca. Como veis el colorido de la colección habla por sí solo. Genial, ¿no os parece? No había probado ningún producto para labios ni para uñas de la marca, y la verdad es que he quedado encantada. ¡Espero que os guste tanto como a mi!

I come to show you the Spring/Summer collection from Elisabeth Llorca. As you can see the colors of the collection speaks for itself. Great, aren't they? I hadn't tried any lip or nail product from this brand before and the truth is that I have been delighted. Hope you like it as much as me!

Empezaré con los "Gloss Lippencil". Se trata de seis lápices de labios con un olor avainillado muy agradable. Llevaba tiempo queriendo probar un producto de éste tipo, y la verdad es que me han gustado bastante. Como todo el mundo, tengo mis colores preferidos, y otros que me gustan menos (para mi). En la foto podéis ver todos los colores en orden inverso (6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1). Preferiría que además de numeración tuviesen algún nombre, así me resulta más fácil a la hora de recordar un tono.

I'm going to start with the "Gloss lippencil." There are six lipsticks with a very nice vanilla scent. For quite a long time I've been wanting to try a product on this format, and the truth is that I liked them a lot. Like everyone else, I have my favorite colors, and others that I dislike (on me). In the picture you can see all the colors in reverse order (6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1). I will prefer them to have a name instead of only the numbering, because with names, I find it easier to remember which one is every shade.

No me resecan para nada, aunque los colores que llevan "brilli-brilli" marcan los pellejitos (véase el tono 1). Los que no llevan ese tipo de partículas son muy suaves en los labios, y dejan un acabado muy bonito. Duran bastante bien en el labio, aunque al ser tan cremosos, tenemos que retocar a lo largo del día. Mi preferido sin duda es el 4, un color muy especial y que está muy de moda. El precio es muy asequible, tan sólo 2'95€, y yo creo que merece la pena probar. Espero que los swatches os ayuden a elegir vuestro preferido:

In general, they are not drying at all, although the colors that have sparkle on them look worse on the lips (see shade 1). Those who do have that kind of particles are very soft on the lips, and leave a nice finish. They last quite well on the lips, but as they are so creamy, we have to touch up throughout the day. My favorite is definitely the 4th shade, a special color that is very fashionable. The price is very affordable, only 2'95 €, and I think they worth trying. I hope the swatches help you to choose your favorite one:

Respecto a los esmaltes, los colores me han parecido preciosos para la época del año, y son unos tonos muy originales. No son de secado rápido, así que tenemos que dejar las manos quietas hasta que se sequen si no queremos tener que rehacer alguna uña. Duran bastantes días perfectos. Como sabéis, a mi los pintauñas se me saltan con mirarlos, pero los probé en mi hermana y le duraron una semana sin problemas (de hecho se las quitó porque se había cansado del color). Sólo se le saltó una uña en una esquina.

Regarding the nail polishes, I found the colors very beautiful for this time of the year, and they are very original shades. There aren't fast drying, so we have to stop using our hands until dry if we do not want to have to redo a nail. They last very well. As you know, I skip the nail polishes in a day, but I tried them on my sister and lasted a week without problems (in fact, she took them off because she was tired of the color). She only had a crack on a corner of a nail in those days.

Algunos colores (los más oscuros) son bastante opacos, pero los neon necesitan varias capas, porque son bastante transparentes, pero todos son muy brillantes.
Mi preferido es sin duda alguna el tono 23, que ya os enseñé en mis Favoritos de Abril. A ese esmalte en concreto le daba un 10.

Some colors (the darkest ones) are quite opaque, but the neon ones need several layers, because they are quite transparent, but all of them are very bright.
My favorite is definitely the 23rd, which I showed in my April Favorites post. This particular shade deserves a 10.

Elisabeth Llorca - Eyeliners y Correctores

¡Por fin es juernes!
Hoy vengo a presentaros las novedades de la marca sevillana Elisabeth Llorca, que he tenido la oportunidad de probar. Se trata de sus nuevos correctores iluminadores, y sus nuevos eyeliners líquidos. La verdad es que, que yo recuerde, nunca había probado nada de la marca, y he quedado gratamente sorprendida. Por lo que me han asegurado desde la marca, sus productos no han sido testados en animales.


El packaging de la marca es muy sencillo, razón por la cual probablemente no me había fijado en ella antes (me atraen en seguida los productos con un packaging bonito y elaborado). La marca no invierte en publicidad, al igual que Chen Yu, y con esto consigue dejar sus productos a unos precios muy buenos, manteniendo la calidad.

Today I come to present the brand new products from the Seville brand "Elisabeth Llorca", that I have had the opportunity to try. This are their new highlighting correctors, and their new liquid eyeliners. The truth is that, as far as I remember, I had never tried anything from the brand before, and I've been pleasantly surprised. As I have been said from the brand, its products are not tested on animals.
*Thurfri= Thursday+Friday, the thursdays when your workweek is over.

The packaging of this brand is quite simple, which is probably why I never noticed it before (I get attracted for nice and elaborated packaging). The brand does not invest in advertising, like Chen Yu, and with this they could sell this products at a very good price, while maintaining quality.

Empezaré hablando de los correctores fluidos iluminadores. El nombre es bastante descriptivo por sí mismo. Contienen propiedades regeneradoras e hidratantes, debido a que están enriquecidos con colágeno marino. El aplicador es como el que encontramos en los labiales en gloss. Personalmente, prefiero aplicarlo sobre mi dedo con la esponja, y luego aplicarlo en el ojo, para no contaminar el producto pasándolo directamente por la cara.

I'll start talking about the fluid highlighting correctors. The name is pretty self descriptive. They contain regenerative and mosturizing properties, because they are enriched with marine collagen. 
The applicator is like that the ones we found on a lipgloss. Personally, I prefer to apply it on my finger with the sponge, and then apply it in the eye, to avoid contaminating the product passing the sponge directly over my face.

El producto se presenta en cuatro tonos distintos: el primero (1) es un tono salmón para neutralizar las ojeras oscuras, el segundo (2) es un tono beige oscuro, el tercero (3) un beige clarito, y el cuarto (4) es un iluminador líquido que muy bonito una vez difuminado.

This product comes in four different shades: the first one (1) is a salmon shade to neutralize dark circles, the second one (2) is a dark beige, the third one (3) a fairy beige, and the fourth one (4) a highlighter that looks amazing after dithering.

Son productos muy asequibles y que cumplen muy bien su función. A mi se me acumula un poco el producto en los pliegues con el paso de las horas, pero me pasa con todos, porque tengo los ojos bastante grandes y abultados, y esa zona está siempre en tensión y movimiento contínuo, todo sea dicho.

These products are very affordable and they do very good job. On me, some of the product gets accumulated in the folds with the passing hours, but this happens with every product I've used, because I have pretty big bulky eyes, and this area is always in tension and continuous motion, all told.

El otro producto que os mostraré es su nueva gama de eyeliners líquidos, que me ha enamorado. Son unos eyeliners de larga duración y colores muy pigmentados e intensos. No son resistentes al agua, pero me aguantan bastante bien en la waterline (a menos que lloréis o lagrimeéis en exceso). En el párpado superior quedan completamente fijos, y duran todo el día. Hay 6 tonos disponibles: Marrón, Morado, Verde, Gris, Azul y Negro.

The other product that I will review is their new liquid eyeliners range, which I love. They are long lasting eyeliners and highly pigmented with very intense colors. They are not waterproof, but endure quite decently in the waterline (unless you cry or have excessive tearing). In the upper lid they will be completely fixed, and they will last you all day. 
There are 6 colors available: Brown, Purple, Green, Gray, Blue and Black. 

Como bien he dicho antes, el producto es muy líquido, y el aplicador es como una esponjita-fieltro bastante firme (firme, no dura ni dañina) que pasa de un grosor más ancho a una punta muy fina, que facilita todo tipo de delineados. He de decir que yo soy "muy tiquismiquis" con las texturas de los aplicadores de eyeliner líquido (por ejemplo, no me gustan nada los que tienen como "pelitos", porque me hacen cosquillas y no lo soporto), y estos me han encantado.

As I said before, the product is very liquid, and the applicator is like a sponge/felt, quite firm (firm, not harsh or harmful) passing from a wider thickness to a very fine point, which facilitates all types of delineated. I must say that I am "very fusspot" with the textures of the liquid eyeliner applicators (eg, anything I don't like those "brush" ones, because they tickle me and can't stand it), and I've loved these. 

La selección de colores me gusta muchísimo,  los encuentro todos muy ponibles. Aunque en la foto no se aprecia, los dos últimos tonos dan un acabado más mate que los cuatro primeros, que contienen muchos destellos.
Es una marca que nunca había probado y estoy segura de que cuando se me acaben volveré a comprar, puesto que en relación calidad-precio, me parecen unos productos geniales, si bien para la línea de agua prefiero un eyeliner tipo gel y que sea resistente al agua, para que me dure bien todo el día (aunque me lloren los ojos).

I love the color range, I find all of them very wearable. Although you can't see this in the picture, the last two tones have a more matte/satin finish, while the others are quite glittery.

It is a brand that I had never bought before and I'm sure that I will repurchase their products once I run out of them, because they are great for it's price/quality, although I would prefer a waterproof gel eyeliner on the waterline, to last me well all day (even if my eyes tear too much).

He quedado muy contenta con los productos de la marca, especialmente con los eyeliners (porque, por suerte, no suelo tener la necesidad de usar corrector de ojeras), y estoy segura de que los repondré una vez los acabe, porque los considero productos de buena calidad a un buen precio. Por comparar, me gustan muchísimo más que los eyeliners "tipo boli" de Essence (que encuentro muy secos),  el precio sigue siendo "low-cost" y hay mayor variedad de colores.

*Por motivos personales, mi compañera Landa ya no está en el blog, pero seguirá colaborando de forma esporádica.

I am very happy with the products of the brand, especially with the eyeliners (because, luckily, I usually don't need to use concealer), and I'm sure that'll replace them once I finish them, because I found this products to be very good quality at a good price. As a comparison, I like those much more than the "pen type" eyeliners from Essence (that seem too dry for me), and the price is still "low-cost", and they have more color range.

They are only available in Spain.
